An action at law and/or a special proceeding to set aside the results of the Kings County Republican Convention has been prepared and is winding its way through the legal system and probably will be served on the necessary parties within the next few days. A similar suit was brought against the Queens County Republican Party in the Supreme Court for Queens by Bob Turner on Monday. According to a report in the Daily News, "The filing by attorney and political vet Thomas Ognibene, argues, in part, that the county called its Sept. 27 organizational meeting at the last minute and in the middle of a workday (and on a Jewish holiday) to suppress turnout, and that for a slew of other procedural reasons, Turner believes the election was "stolen."
