Why do Republican-Conservative candidate, Brian Fox, and the Fox campaign for City Council continually have to lie --- about himself and what his own life has been all about ??? --- And about his Democrat opponent ?????

 
We are entering the the last month of the 2021 election cycle  ---  and the top Brooklyn GOP candidate at this stage of the campaign is Brian Fox, who is a first time candidate for the City Council in the 43rd  City Council District, which is located in Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, a large part of Bath Beach, and slivers of other sub-neighborhoods generally referred to as Bensonhurst

Brian Fox and the Brian Fox for City Council campaign now represents the terrible and parlous state into which the Brooklyn GOP and the New York State Conservative Party in Brooklyn has fallen  ---  because they have presented as their avatar candidate for 2021 in their former Brooklyn stronghold, a truly unvetted and unworthy individual  ---  who has consistently misrepresented himself and his opponent at every turn, from Brian Fox's earliest introductory biographical information about himself, through yesterday's false charges made about his opponent's personal history of dangerous driving

This is the second year in a row that the Brooklyn GOP and their purported "allies" in the NYS Consevative Party in Brooklyn have foisted a morally corrupt and personally unworthy candidate upon an unsuspecting public  ---  last year, it was Ratso Vito Bruno, who was the GOP-Con-Con candidate for the NY State Senate seat formally held by Marty Golden; and this year, it's Brian Fox who is the faux Republican-Conservative taking on Democrat incumbent City Councilman Justin Brannan

Yesterday, Brian Fox rolled out a whole new look for his social media campaign. Unfortunately, the change was 100% "style over substance"  >>>  that's because the CONTENT OF THE FOX SOCIAL MEDIA POSTINGS WERE THE SAME OLD WHINEY LIES that we have been seeing for several months now  ---  literally, since Liam McCabe dumped this scum bag, Fox, onto the Brooklyn political scene.

Following the PR advice of the Nazi propagandist, Joseph Goebbels, Liam McCabe and Brian Fox have decided that one "Big Lie" after another is the very best way to get Fox across the finish line with any kind of showing worth remembering after 2021.

It all started by the introduction of Brian Fox as our "neighbor" who's been a long-time Brooklynite from Bay Ridge  ---  unfortunately, none of that is true.  At best, Fox is a recent Bay Ridge, Brooklynite (but even that can't be verified, because Fox and his campaign won't provide any details about where he is from, where he has been, and/or how long he's been there)..... Then, there's Brian Fox's school and work history  ---  Oops !!!  Not much there that can be verified either.  ---  for the same reasons, lies and obsfuscation by Fox and his campaign....  As a result, we're just left with the old chestnuts that Fox was a self-employed businessman and entrepreneur (You know, just like last year, with Ratso Vito Bruno..... )

Lately, the "Big Lies" out of the Fox campaign have been hitting all around at a fast and furious pace  ---  as McCabe and Fox seem to be willing to try and say anything that might stick to Brannan. The latest is the false claim by Fox and his campaign team that  ---  "...  Mr. Brannan is .... caught speeding through Brooklyn school safety zones 16 times — 16 times...”  Then, Fox said that dangerous speeding drivers like Brannan kill people.  >>> THE PROBLEM WITH ALL OF THOSE FALSE, LURID, AND OVERWROUGHT CHARGES BY BRIAN FOX IS THAT THERE IS NO PROOF WHATSOEVER THAT COUNCILMAN BRANNAN EVER SPEEDED IN A SCHOOL ZONE OR ANYPLACE ELSE DURING THE "16 TIMES" ALLEGED BY BRIAN FOX AND HIS CAMPAIGN.....

Lies, lies,and more lies  ---  that's what the Republican-Conservative Candidate for City Council in Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Bath Beach and other parts of Bensonhurst, Brian Fox, thinks makes a good campaign  >>>>>>>>  "THE QUESTION BEGS"  ---  DO YOU THINK SO TOO ?????

Less than a month has passed since the New Jersey born and bred Roman Catholic Bishop of Brooklyn and Queens Nicholas DiMarzio was publicly "cleared" of sex abuse charges by a formal high level internal Church review of the facts  ---  Nonetheless, Pope Francis quickly accepted the routine tender of his retirement papers upon turning  75 yoa from the recently embattled tough-guy bishop "Nicky Mars"

Things don't usually happen this fast among the higher-ups in the Roman Catholic Church unless there is a very good reason for it.  ---   In this case, there is still the very troublesome civil lawsuit brought by Mitchell Garabedian  based upon the claims of two men that DIMarzio had sexually abused them many years ago when both had been boys  in New Jersey, one a pre-teen altar boy, the other an infant of six.....  

And even though the formal Church investigation by Cardinal Dolan had formally exonerrated the Bishop of Brooklyn  >>>  there can be little doubt that there were other credible sotto voce reports and/or communications that did mention other relevant, but very "confidential" information about Bishop Di Marzio that worked their way back to the Vatican  ---  so much so, that it was necessary to give Nicky D the quick boot, and quietly to find, vet and then publicaly name DiMarzio's successor  on a very, very fast track

Let's see whether the newly named Bishop of Brooklyn and Queens, a fellow by the name of Robert J. Brennan, now a 59 year old bishop in Ohio, will change lots of things from the way they were done under Nicky Mars  ---  like handling new and old sex abuse claims; addressing social inequality and unrest; and openly dabbling in partisan politics

Boy, the folks at the Vatican can check a lot of boxes very quickly,  WHEN IT'S IN THEIR INTEREST TO DO SO.....

Make no mistake about it. Everything that's become obvious to the rest of us in the last month vis a vis Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio has been part of a big and well-orchestrated attempt at damage control by the Holy Catholic Church of Rome  --- and necessarily  ---  each and every part of it has been in the works for well more than a month.....  

Let's see what happens next.

It might be sooner, or it might be later, but sooner or later comes the part when somebody like Paul Harvey says,  "And that's the rest of the story...."

Republican-Conservative candidate Brian Fox's already tortuous and torturous path to the NYC Council, caused by almost continuous errors and ommissions, gaffs and pratfalls  >>>  now appears to have run into a major NYPD roadblock

Latest crime figures from the NYPD, as reported in the local press, seem to back up incumbent Democrat Justin Brannan's claims that crime is down all around the 43rd Council District on his watch

Brian Fox, his campaign team, and his allies would have had everybody believe that things have never been this bad  ---  and that from Bay Parkway out in Bensonhurst down to Shore Road in Bay Ridge the lawlessness rivaled Dodge City and Tombstone when the Earps and Doc Holliday were being kept very busy at the OK Corral and other venues

In an article by Helen Klein in today's local edition of the Brooklyn Reporter the news seems very favorable:  "Crime continues to drop in Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights, down nearly 16 percent since the beginning of 2021, according to the NYPD....  According to CompStat, which tracks the seven major index crimes, overall crime in the 68th Precinct was down 15.79 percent year to date, as of Sept. 19, putting it well ahead of both the city at large and Brooklyn South, the patrol borough of which the 68th Precinct is a part....  In comparison, citywide crime has gone down .80 percent since the beginning of the year, and crime in Brooklyn South (which is comprised of 13 precincts) is down 4.35 percent since Jan. 1....  Giving the 'favorable crime report is easy for me because of the hard work of the cops,' noted Capt. Andrew Tolson, the commanding officer of the 68th Precinct, during the precinct community council’s September meeting, which was held via Zoom because of the pandemic. But he also stressed that crime reduction is enhanced by the good relationship between cops and community. That, he said, 'helps keep crime low'.... 'It’s extraordinary,' Tolson went on. 'Everyone is on the same page. The community is very involved. Our success is your success, and we are all in this together.' ...  Overall, crime has gone down in the 68th Precinct in six of the seven index crimes: Murder, rape, robbery, felonious assault, burglary and grand larceny auto (GLA), and up in just one, grand larceny....  According to CompStat, murder in the precinct is down 100 percent. By this time in 2020, there had been three murders in the 68th Precinct; this year, so far, there are none....  The crime category that seen the second largest decrease is GLA, which has dropped, year over year, 44.3 percent. Local Councilman Justin Brannan didn't miss the opportunity to do a "Victory Lap" with the great news from the NYPD.   According to the Klein story in the Brooklyn Reporter newspapers, Brannan said this:   ".... 'Our very low local crime numbers are showing what we already knew: Our neighborhoods are some of the safest in all of New York City. Captain Tolson has done a tremendous job, and the men and women of the 68th Precinct go above and beyond every day to keep us safe,'  noted Councilmember Justin Brannan.... 'There are people who will tell you otherwise to serve their own political agendas,' he continued, “but the facts and the stats are clear: Crime here is down and heading even lower. At the end of the day, we are all partners in looking out for each other. Between our precinct, our neighbors and our community leaders, I couldn’t be prouder to play for the best home team in the five boroughs.' ....”

So far there has been no attempt at any damage control by the Fox folks for what looks like a pretty big hole in their boat..... 

As we are now past midday on Friday,  nothing but cricketts from Fox and/or the Fox campaign about any of this stuff.

Let's give Brian Fox a break --- and go to the other elephant in the room when it comes to the very dysfunctional Brooklyn GOP

No it's not Jerry Kassar (Even though he probably does a lot more to hurt the Brooklyn GOP, he isn't an enrolled Republican, and he doesn't have an official GOP title and position).....  Although lots of Brooklyn Republicans say the person  that we are talking-about does take his marching orders from Kassar.....

You know, I'm tired of this already.....   Just talk about Ted Ghorra among yourselves.....  Everything about him has been swept under that rug from day one  ---  everybody knows, but nobody cares.....

The Fox campaign switches from incomplete Robert F. Kennedy Quotes to Broken Curbs and Bagels --- campaign keeps searching for its theme and its voice

 

This Brian Fox phenomenon is amazing  ---  absolutely,  AMAZING  ---  like "Seinfeld"  ---  it [HE ???] is a show about nothing.....

The  Fox campaign goes from an out-of-context Robert Kennedy quote  ---  to the candidate himself offering folks bagels & coffee to help on his campaign  ---  to, again the candidate himself, looking like he's helping somebody change a tire, while whining about a six-to-eight inch divot in a curb in Bay Ridge  >>> and calling for somebody in government to repair it immediately <<<

The theme of the Brian Fox for City Council campaign is now clear  >>>  there is no theme  >>>  and just as important, the Fox campaign still has no recognizable and strong voice on any matter of public concern or interest

When a campaign reaches this point in the election cycle, it has to have some meaning.that connects with the people. 

For the longest time, we thought that Fox and friends had a messaging and/or imaging problem. It has now become obvious that Brian Fox and his team of highly paid non-professionals connected to Liam McCabe has a problem with substance. To put it bluntly, there is no "THERE" there !!!!!

The almost daily outpouring of one nonsensicle thing after another on the Brian Fox for City Council social media sites, especially on Fox's campaign Facebook page, demonstrates over and over that Republican-Conservative candidate Brian Fox has nothing worthwhile to offer as a political program, or even as an occasional meaningful observation and/or position on anything.

Even Fox's most recurrent jibes at his opponent, incumbent Democrat City Councilman Justin Brannan, have been anemic.  The main example being  ---  repeatedly claiming that Brannan defunded the NYPD, and that he, Fox, would "refund the police"  ---  which is done in a factless and unverifiable way; even though a fact-based and credible attack on those points would be possible, if Fox and his campaign would bother to do the work and truly engage on that subject.  Surely, Brannan would raise many explanations and excuses, but a fully prepared and believable Brian Fox could win such a debate.

BUT  >>> ENOUGH FANTACY AND PIPE-DREAMING <<<   We haven't gotten any of that good stuff from Fox and his campaign thus far;  and we aren't likely to get any of it from now until election day, either.

The "Left" is gloating about the fizzled out "Justice for J6" rally

The Washington, D.C., security establishment (police, National Guard, FBI, Secret Service, etc.), the Main Stream Media, and a variety of leftish influencers are doing a victory lap about news of the very constricted crowd of patriotic Americans gathered to protest the brutal and other "special treatment" of the January 6th Capitol Hill protesters

This is a typical statement that came from a spokesperson for the Southern Poverty Law Center, quoted in the Washington Post yesterday:  
"There are more hurdles here in place than reasons for people to come out to this event....  People are simply just too fearful after all of the arrests related to Jan. 6 to go out and do this kind of big nationwide event....”   ---  Cassie Miller,  Senior Research Analyst, Southern Poverty Law Center

Mr. Miller says that like it's a good thing.....  Yes, right here in the USA.   

Obviously, the WAPO thinks it's a good thing too. And the security establishment surely likes the kudos it's getting for the way they're handling things, this time around.

If you can't see that as the real problem in this country right now,  YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.

The good news is that THE ENEMY is now so scared that the mere announcement of a demonstration in Washington puts the nation's capital into a semi-lockdown.....

.....  And it's beginning to feel a lot like the 1770's for real Americans.....  When the time comes,  REMEMBER, "DON'T SHOOT UNTIL YOU SEE THE WHITES OF THEIR EYES !!!"

This "Robert Kennedy Post" by the McCabe-Fox team raises a very important question  ---  just how Republican and c[C]onservative are Liam McCabe and Brian Fox

Sometimes it's the context that's more important than the words.  THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES.

We all will probably agree that, if Liam and Brian were real conservative Republicans, they should have known this.  However, we here on this Independent Republican blog have a long-standing and solid consevative Republican history;  and we put it out there to all of you that  >>>  IF LIAM MC CABE AND BRIAN FOX WERE REAL CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS  >>>  THEY WOULD HAVE KNOWN NOT TO QUOTE ROBERT F. KENNEDY  ---  AND THEY CERTAINLY WOULD NOT HAVE PUBLISHED THE KENNDEY QUOTE ON THEIR CAMPAIGN SOCIAL MEDIA FOR THEIR BASE TO READ.....

Today's most recent social media posting is a "perfect" example of a perfectly imperfect sample of how to converse using the English language.....   Here's what was posted on the Brian Fox for City Council Facebook page at about Four O'clock this afternoon:  "Brian Fox for City Council [@ 4:00 PM, 9/17/2021]...  I look forward to working alongside our phenomenal Congresswoman once in office!... How it started... How it's going..."

Let's just leave the photos that went along with "... How it started..." and "... How it's going..." --- and the bad visuals --- out of this, this time around.....

Just focus on the words --- "... I look forward to working alongside our phenomenal Congresswoman once in office!... How it started... How it's going..."

I put it to you --- is there any rational meaning that can be ascribed to that melange of words, spaces and punctuation --- whether making references to the pix that accompanied them, or without any pictoral linkage whatsoever ?????

Now, Mr. Fox !!! About that shooting in Bay Ridge --- WHERE WERE YOU WHEN IT ALL WENT DOWN ?????

 

As we all know, things have not been going so great for the Brian Fox campaign.....

So, Brian and Liam put their heads together  ---  What to do ?!    What to do ???!!!    What to do ?????!!!!! 

Let's get into Councilman Brannan's grill about a real crime in Bay Ridge.....    [How original !!!]

And so this little saga began:

First, there was an incident involving gunplay and shots fired around a barber shop on Fifth Avenue near 86th Street in Bay Ridge.

Then the incumbent Democrat City Councilman Justin Brannan came out with a rather routine statement about the incident, indicating that the local police precinct was on top of the situation,  that there were suspects, and an arrest was expected in due course.....

Here's where it really gets juicy;  the Brian Fox for City Council Facebook site erupted with this act of incendiary incontinence:

"Brian Fox for City Council is [imogi] feeling furious...   [9/14/2021]...  Unbelievable that Councilman Justin Brannan downplays #ShotsFired in #BayRidge. He tells us that it was an 'existing beef' and no one was hit as if that makes it ok.... Don't #stray from the facts Justin.... ***STRAY BULLETS KILL*** ... Most #children in NYC shot and #killed by stray bullets were from shots that missed the target of an 'existing beef'... This is outrageous and unacceptable!..."

However, this is some of what Councilman Brannan said: ".... PLEASE BE AWARE: Incident about an hour ago at the barber shop on 87th & 5th Avenue. Two men walked into the barber shop looking for the intended victim. One of the men pulls a gun outside and fires. Thank God no one was hurt. I'm told this was not random, and police believe everyone involved knew each other. Incident likely related to some existing beef between those involved. Intended victim is with police. We expect arrests imminent. More information as I get it...." That certainly didn't seem like it rated the pissy-pants potshots from the Fox campaign.....

Brian Fox and Liam McCabe seem to know exactly what Brannan had said, because they posted it verbatum on the Brian Fox for City Council Facebook site.... WELL, NOT QUITE VERBATUM !!! Here's something that they left out of the Councilman's well-crafted and responsible report of the incident: ".... ** This is an active investigation and until I have more confirmed information, I am limited to the details I can share so as to not jeopardize the police investigation...."

Since then, things really got crazy.....

So far the latest is one of those pop-up photo-opp demonstrations that Liam loves so much --- this time with about half a dozen participants --- and the now expected at Liam's stuff for Brian Fox, NO CROWD AT ALL..... There was lots of talk about outrage, and mistatements about how "defunding the police" led to this shooting --- but there was no real OUTRAGE, and even fewer facts about this incident or anything else (exccept for pointing out a few marks that were called "bullet holes".....

BUT THIS IS THE BIG SCOOP FOR NOW --- If you were to believe everything that Brian Fox said at this photo-opp, presser --- he must have been very close by 87th Street and Fifth Avenue at the time of the shooting, because he said he was lucky that he wasn't hit by one of the stray bulltets. Fox didn't indicate wheteher he has been questioned by police in connection with the incident. After all, since he is such a high profile character, with a very questionable past, perhaps he was the target.

For Brian Fox, tonight will tell the tale --- either he starts turning it around right now, or it's "Turn Out the Lights, Melinda" time

 
As Yogi used to say  ---  "Sometimes it gets late early".....

That is especially true for Brian Fox in 2021  ---  so far in about six months of trying, he hasn't made a dent in Boss Brannan's armor anywhere in the 43rd Council District  ---  as a matter of fact, Brian Fox has worn his weaknesses and short comings on his sleave from the get-go  ---  and we have been brutal in our observations of them, and almost as cruel in our criticisms of each faux pas that has rattled out of the Liam McCabe managed Fox campaign virtually like machine-gun fire

However, tonight is momentous, if Fox. McCabe and the Fishmans can turn things around with a good and professional fund raiser, it might just be enogh of a spark to ignite what upto now has been as effective as using waterlogged matches on green and moist kindling

A good haul of matching funds elligible donations could bring the Fox coffers up to a level of competitive from where it is right now, barely able to pay the rent and utilities, and McCabe and his family for their services to the campaign.

Marty Golden does his half geek show, half minstral act at the Fox HQ opening --- all that was missing was blackface, banjos and tambourines

Doesn't Marty Golden know that preventive detention is unconstitutional everywhere in the United States  [except at the detention camp in the military base in Guantanomo Bay, which U.S. treaty territory in Cuba] ?????

Arrest is not a dispositive act under the law.....  Marty Golden seems to think that what the cops did in arresting somebody has some value in proving guilt  ---   it absolutely does not, unless the arrest occurs during the actual commission of the crime itself witnessed by one or more of the cops

Funny thing, Golden started his talk at the Brian Fox headquarters' opening by talking about the NY State Legislature and next year's election for NYS Senator  ---  all before he mentioned Brian Fox and this year's City Council race

Golden looked and sounded as dotty and addlepated as President Joseph Biden when he goes off-prompter

A Fox for City Council Headquarters  ---  and Marty Golden talking about the next elction for the state senate  ---  is this "Nostalgia Weekend"  or what ?????

Brian Fox campaign has ho shame --- actively scamming off of supporter's "Go Fund Me" request for a handout

This sure looks like it takes the cake ( so far) !!!

Latest campaign Facebook page antics definitely looks like there could be some "hiding in plain sight" attempted wire fraud; or perhaps in a more complicated way, some kind of attempted NYC CFB "Matching Funds" fraud

Here's what Fox folks are trying to pull right now  ---  this directlly from the Briam Fox for City Council FB page:

[Then the BFFCC Facebook posting contains a "share" from a gofundme.com solicitation by Fred Urban with a graphic of the Schnitzel Haus, and the text of Fred Urban's personal appeal]

Of course, this could all be a big mistake or misunderstanding [OH-AH-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA !!!] and maybe, it's not a clever scheme at all >>> but >>> if you follow Brian Fox's instructions in this post literally, you don't contribute to Fred Urban or the Schnitzel Haus, you make a donation to the Fox campaign.

Now, there's two ways that this scam can be intended to work --- the first defrauds Fred Urban and the Schnitzel Haus; the second is more subtle and defrauds the People of the City of New York by channeling the funds intended to go to Urban and the Schnitzel Haus through the Fox for City Council account and then "expense" it for some kind of campaign-related thing at the Schnitzel Haus.

We are calling Briam Fox out for making the false claim that he was instrumental in the reopening of a "senior center"

It's all in black and white with color pictures  >>>  the Brian Fox for City Council Facebook page is now officially the Brian Fox for City Council humbug page.....

Here's what Fox and his team of liars have decided to put out there on their Brian Fox for City Council FB page as if there were even a scintilla of truth in it:  
".... Happy to join my good friends at the Fort Hamilton Senior Center this morning to announce the great news that our hard work has paid off and the City has heard our calls. The center will now be OPEN FOR SENIORS! ... I'm sorry it took this long to get it done but our Senior Community doesn't give up that easy and neither do I. Looking forward to happy Days ahead! ..."  [We made the editorial decision not to go with the million or so pictures of Mr. Fox in his fleece vest; after all, a Fox in fleece is only one step away from a wolf in sheep's clothing anyway.....]

The facts are that Brian Fox did nothing that led to the reopening of any "Fort Hamilton Senior Center"

We at this blog hate to be called a "Karen" for asking questions like these, but if Brian Fox had a hand in this, he should be able to answer them, because they are really very simple questions:

1. Can you tell us exactly what YOU did to get the NYC Parks Department to reopen the center? 

2. Can you tell us what specific steps YOU took, or tactics that YOU used, to get the center reopened, in whatever form or under whatever style it reopened ??? 

3 Can you tell us the officials with whom YOU met, or with whom YOU spoke to on the phone to get this done ?????

4. Hasn't the Fort Hamilton facility not reopened as a "Senior Center"; but instead it is now officially referred to as a "Recreation Center" that is open to all kinds of folks of all ages ???????

What is going on with the Fox Campaign ? 

Why are they are suddenly announcing "STEALTH" fund raisers with very problematic guest speakers ???

The Fox campaign's current fund raiser is called "Stand Up For Brooklyn"; and it is scheduled for "Monday, Sept. 13th @ 6:00 PM"

"...  LOCATION WILL BE SENT [ONLY] AFTER EVENT REGISTRATION...  Brooklyn, NY 11209..."

This isn't just some bad wording in the display ad portion of the fund raising notice.....

The Brian Fox for City Council Facebook version of the fund raising notice is quite specific about the  >>> SECRECY <<<   And, in addition, here's what the >>> Facebook text accompanying the ad portion <<<  says:

"... Join fellow Brooklynites and local neighbors in support of Brian Fox for City Council and his agenda to bring common sense back to City Hall and make NYC safe again. Enjoy delicious appetizers, fresh grilled favorites, beer, wine, soda and dessert on a beautiful picturesque estate in historic Bay Ridge by Shore Road. Exact Address given upon RSVP. Please donate with this link to RSVP and address will be emailed to you...."

Whatever the posh surroundings of the actual "Stand Up For Brooklyn" event might be, it seems fair to say that somebody who wants to talk about bullying at Bay Ridge's Holy Angels Academy (now associated with St Anselms Academy as Bay Ridge Catholic Academy) will be there, and that there has been some mention of opening "soup kitchens" in the heart of Bay Ridge as part of the commentary about the "Stand Up for Brooklyn" event.

We must say, that is a very interesting way to "Stand Up for Brooklyn"  ---  very interesting indeed.....

Maureen Mahoney ? Maureen Mahoney ??? Maureen Mahoney !!!!! Has Brian Fox completely gone off the rails at the deep end with his latest fund raiser gimmick ?????.....

 

First, it was going to be Arielle Scarcella to speak about all-day sex and orgasms (or was that all-day orgasms and sex ???) at his since cancelled fund raiser  ---  now it looks like he's invited Maurren Mahoney to speak about her intensely personal cause, "Bullying".....

It is increasingly obvious that the Fox Campaign has decided that it needs to go completely full-frontal bi-polar bonkers to attract a crowd

There is one big problem  ---  all of Brian Fox's us-against-them "take back our neighborhoods" bullying braggadocious bravado is completely not what Maurren Mahoney's sort of new agey, Kumbaya and community comradeship to stamp out bullying is all about.....

Here's the rub, Maureen Mahoney (Fitzpatrick) is a woman on a mission.....  And her son Daniel's 2016 tragedy is still a local scandal..... 

But an alliance of convenience with the likes of the Republican-Conservative Candidate for City Council Brian Fox in the hope of advancing "Daniel's Law" is fraught with peril, because Maureen Mahoney doesn't know anything about the bullying in Brian's own past.....  THAT'S BECAUSE NONE OF US DO.....  AND THAT'S BECAUSE BRIAN FOX AND HIS HANDLERS WANT TO KEEP IT THAT WAY.....

What we do know is that Brian Fox was a BMOC varsity hockey jock in high school in New Jersey.....  He then went on to play semi-pro hockey for a while, and he developed a rep as an "enforcer."  And we can only guess at the goings on at all those hyper-masculine booze bashes for "business" that Fox repeatedly touted while he was a Wall-Streeter and then a high-tech recruiter. 

We also have seen Brian Fox in action as a local candidate for City Council right here in Brooklyn  ---  where his bullying style is well-established, and now very familiar all around (remember Fox's campaign team tearing down signs at the Stroll on Third Avenue, with Fox even trying to bully an event organizer Chip Cafierro right on Third Avenue during the "Stroll...").....
