If this were an episode of the "... Flying Circus" --- we might say, "And now for something completely different..." except it's really not.....

More appropriate might have been:  "... and nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition..."

However, the most apt "...Python..." for this one  >>>  And now this from "... the Bureau of Silly Walks"

AND OF COURSE, OUR VERY OWN:   "YOU JUST CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP !!!"

This over the transom yesterday from "God-knows-who for who-knows why":

"...

Stephen Maresca announces Run for Kings County Chairman,,,,

[Words, words words ! !*^^+@)(^%$@#$  ---   Blah,blah, blah, blah !!! #@!*^*(*)(^%(#((YWz((*&^%#U+]...."

NOT WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED  ---  ANOTHER STATUS QUO REPUBLICAN COUNTY CHAIRMAN

What we don't need is another low energy Republican County Chairman for the Brooklyn GOP.

It's just too easy to say it, and we can't stop ourselves:  "Another day, a different toupee..."

Moving up on the list of scoundrels and bad people that need to be purged from the Brooklyn GOP ASAP is Michael Demartino, Jr.

As Casey Kasem would say   ---   "Number Two with a bullet".....

Michael Demartino, Jr., takes a big jump up on our Joe McCarthy list of so-called Republican conservatives who are trying to subvert our public institutions by using a nefarious mix of fraud, lies and deceit

Brian Fox's personal mention of Michael Demartino, Jr., as his "Exective Director of Community Outreach" for the latest Fox-McCabe subversive front group, the "South Brooklyn Coalition To Save Small Businesses" goes along nicely with Demartino's own description of himself as a "Field Operative for Brian Fox for City Council" ---  and it fits right into our Bill of Particulars for a Nuremberg-type indictment against Demartino

What is clear is that, with Brian Fox's recent post about the ""South Brooklyn Coalition To Save Small Businesses,"  and Michael Demartino's own admission that he is a "Field Operative for Brian Fox for City Council"  >>>  there is ample evidence to prove that Michael Demartino, Jr.,  IS NOW AND/OR HAS BEEN A MEMBER OF A REGISTERED ORGANIZATION OR UNREGISTERED VOLUNTARY ASSOCIATION THAT HAS SOUGHT THE OVERTHROW OF LAWFUL GOVERNMENT ENTITIES OR OFFICERS IN THESE UNITED STATES BY MEANS OF FRAUD, LIES AND DECEIT ---  AND/ OR  ---  HAS BEEN SUPPORTIVE OF AN ONGOING CONSPIRACY TO  OVERTHROW LAWFUL GOVERNMENT ENTITIES OR OFFICERS IN THESE UNITED STATES BY MEANS OF FRAUD, LIES AND DECEIT.....

Also, obviously this Demartino clown is one of those fat guy DUFFs,  who hang around and think that Brian Fox is cool and that a "Brian Fox" fleece vest is a fashion statement  ---  as an added feature, Michael Demartino, Jr., is also a Mark Bistreich look-alike.....

At the top of the list of Brooklyn GOP scoundrels and all-around bad guys is --- "SURVEY SAYS !!!" --- LIAM MC CABE --- DING ! DING !!! DING !!!!! DING !!!!!!! DING.....

Liam Ambrose McCabe took an artifically created "cypher" named Brian Fox, a campaign worth almost $200,000, a red wave, and a relatively locally unpopular incumbent named Justin Brannan  >>>  and he turned it into a massive steaming pile of turd

Meanwhile, McCabe, McCabe's "family," and McCabe's business associates made out like bandits off all the 8X matching funds that poured into the Fox campaign

It turns out that many of the so called "volunteers" that Liam brought in were really paid employees or paid independent contractors

As long as the Brooklyn GOP puts up with the likes of Liam McCabe, and his unique "set of skills"  >>>  it will be no more than one losing three card monte game after another for Ghorra and the rest.

Not only did the Fox-McCabe operation fail to win an election that was both eminently and immanently winnable;  none of the almost $200,000 was used for GOP party building in and around the 43rd City Council District.

In a very telling post that was quickly taken down, Liam mentioned that he met Brian Fox playing darts in a bar.  That was probably the first, last and only honest thing that was ever mentioned by Liam McCabe about Brian Fox.  Everything else that McCabe let everybody "know" about Fox was a contrived presentation  ---  running from the early roll-out of the perspective candidate Fox, through the lackluster campaign of missed issues, false and inconsistent messages, demonstrably fales charges against Fox's Democrat opponent, and most recently capped off with a post-election sour grapes, self-pity party.

Well, what did anybody expect after letting Liam McCabe convince them that a "DUFF" in every way like Brian Fox would be the best choice to take on Justin Brannan in 2021.

Let us close by asking how you think that Liam McCabe woud answer these questions:

1. "ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN A MEMBER OF ANY REGISTERED ORGANIZATION OR UNREGISTERED VOLUNTARY ASSOCIATION THAT SOUGHT THE OVERTHROW OF ANY LAWFUL GOVERNMENT ENTITY OR OFFICER IN THESE UNITED STATES BY FRAUD, LIES AND DECEIT ???"  AND/ OR

2. "ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN SUPPORTIVE OF ANY ONGOING CONSPIRACY TO  OVERTHROW ANY LAWFUL GOVERNMENT ENTITY OR OFFICER IN THESE UNITED STATES BY MEANS OF FRAUD, LIES AND DECEIT ?????"

Perhaps a third question needs to added specifically for Liam McCabe  ---

3. "HAVE YOU EVER PRETENDED TO HAVE BEEN A MEMBER OF ANY REGISTERED ORGANIZATION OR UNREGISTERED VOLUNTARY ASSOCIATION THAT SOUGHT THE OVERTHROW OF ANY LAWFUL GOVERNMENT ENTITY OR OFFICER IN THESE UNITED STATES BY FRAUD, LIES AND DECEIT  AND/ OR  HAVE YOU PRETENDED THAT YOU ARE OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN SUPPORTIVE OF ANY ONGOING CONSPIRACY TO  OVERTHROW ANY LAWFUL GOVERNMENT ENTITY OR OFFICER IN THESE UNITED STATES BY MEANS OF FRAUD, LIES AND DECEIT FOR THE PURPOSE OF YOUR OWN PERSONAL FINANCIAL GAIN ???????"

The time has come to revive one of the great tools of one of the Golden Ages of real Conservative GOP history --- the famous Senator Joseph McCarthy's "I have a list...." moments

"... I HAVE A LIST..."  ---  AH, JUST THOSE FOUR WORDS  ---  WHY THAT PHRASE AND ALL THAT IT MEANS BRINGS ME TO "CRESCENDO"

We here on this Independent GOP blog are going to do it even better than the famed Wisconsin senator  >>>  HE NEVER DID A SPECIFIC LIST OF SUBVERSIVES INSIDE THE GOP <<<

We are going to do exactly that and start with  >>>  THE BROOKLYN GOP & THE SO-CALLED BRIAN FOX FOR CITY COUNCIL CAMPAIGN

Needless to say, there will be lots to say about "the routine suspects"  ---  however, let's see how the "other people" like it when the focus is on them

"... Are you now, or have you ever been..."   ---   another great phrase from those good old times  ---  BTW,  the rest of that question, when we pose it locally, will make a few heads spin.....

We'll see what happens soon enough.....  Right now, it's time to go out and dig in the dirt.......   And also dig some coal for lots of people's stockings next month.....

BrooklynJester ??? SURELY --- SOMEBODY MUST BE JESTING !!!!! --- Or, they're just plain jackin' off into the turkey gravy for the rest of us to have something to remember them in a special way during our Thanksgiving dinners

Whoever this guy is  ---  he don't need no stinkin' flame thrower  ---  it's certainly obvious that he's quite a flamin' asshole.....

We seen everybody's list of suspects as to who this guy might be  ---  we've done some very detailed analysis of everything that's been posted, including the comments at  >>>  BrooklynJester@BklynJester <<<  since last summer  ---  and here's our conclusion  ---  WHO GIVES TWO SHITS, ONE WAY OR THE OTHER ???  AND WHY WOULD WE OR ANYBODY ELSE FOR THAT MATTER ?????

As far as we're concerned, before December 1st of this year  ---  this "BrooklynJester" clown, and all his specifically named enemies both inside and outside the Brooklyn GOP, should all get together at some local or suburban professionally-run "escape room" attraction  ---  making sure that it will accomodate some special customized features: first, that it's lit up by about a hundred candles of all shapes and sizes for atmosphere, maybe with a few torches in sconces on the wall;  and second, that arrangements can be made for all the participants to play versions of "pass the parcel," "egg toss," "cornhole" or "hot potato" with about 55 gallons of kerosene (or as some of us real affected faggotty phonies like to call it "parafin") equally measured into about 55 real latex Trojan condoms.....

NOW THAT COULD BE LOTS OF FUN FOR THE REST OF US

TO WATCH OR EVEN JUST HEAR ABOUT !!!!!

Since there seems to be something apocalyptic that this joker is expecting to happen by December First, this whole "BrooklynJester" phenomenon should be somewhat short- lived.....

It looks like Fox speaks --- but WTF's he talkin' 'bout ???

Here is a very up-to-date Meta-Facebook post on the Brian Fox for City Council campaign page:

"Brian Fox for City Council...  [@ 7:00 PM, 11/20/2021]...  I want to take the time to thank all of my donors, supporters and my campaign staff. Although we came up short, we have a lot to be proud of. As far as I'm concerned, district 43 spoke on election night. I believe in my districts need for change and believe that together, with your continued support, we will get there. I firmly believe that my opportunity to represent my community has arrived...stay tuned for new and exciting updates in the very near future!... I love you all!..."

Maybe, this is nothing more than the routine blah-blah-blah for the folks watching from the cheap seats. On the other hand, maybe the paid consultants movin' and shakin' around the by-now stimulant besotted main attraction for City Council against Justin Brannan in 2021 are stakin' out territory inside the Brooklyn GOP and Conservative Party for future ventures byTeam Fox-McCabe --- whether it's for Fox himself or somebody else

Here's the really problematic part of the Meta-Facebook message purportedly posted by Fox personally: ".... As far as I'm concerned, district 43 spoke on election night. I believe in my districts [sic] need for change and believe that together, with your continued support, we will get there. I firmly believe that my opportunity to represent my community has arrived...stay tuned for new and exciting updates in the very near future...."

That certainly has the look and feel of a very provocative teaser by somebody inside the Fox-McCabe juggernaut.

As one of our onetime heroes inside the Brooklyn GOP used to like to say:
"...  The question begs..." what could Mr. Fox or his muse(s) possibly be talking about ???

Maybe, it really is something momentous.  Could it be that Brian Fox will announce that he actually won this year; and he will be sworn in instead of Brannan at the end of the year ?????

House of Representatives' passage of the mammoth "Build it Back Better Bill" shows that Nicole Malliotakis was 100% wrong in last week's vote to pass the similarly wasteful [Not really very much for the] "Infrastructure Bill"

Remember last week when Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis said one of the reasons for her to vote for the Biden-Pelosi Faux Infrastructure Bill was to keep the Progressives in Congress from leveraging their momentary opposition to the so-called "Infrastructure Bill" into passing the much worse and monstrous "Build It Back Better Bill".....

Now it's perfectly clear that  >>>  all that Malliotakis accomplished was to give Biden, Pelosi, AOC and the rest of the PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS in Washington, D.C., some momentum for this week's really big push for their really big bill  ---  which they passed in less than a week after Nicole's very bad vote for the mostly not for infrastructure bill

THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE IN THE RESULTS OF THESE TWO VOTES IF MAX ROSE HAD BEEN RE-ELECTED INSTEAD OF NICOLE'S HAVING REPLACED HIM

Anybody in the Staten Island or Brooklyn GOP and/or Conservative Party that continues to support Nicole Malliotakis after all of this is  >>> part of the problem and not part of the solution <<<

In 2022, we need to kick Nicole and anybody that sticks with her to the side of the road; and make sure  that they stay out of every real Republican's and Conservative's way as we try to clear up all of this Biden Democrat mess all over the place.

The "... Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds" is a very old book that is all about this year's fascination by GOP and so-called "conservative" voters with a completely unworthy and ineffective candidate named Brian Fox, and the equally unworthy an ineffective campaign for Fox run by Liam McCabe

The  "...  Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds" is a seminal investigation and discussion about irrational mass behavior(s) of the sort that led many with a rooting interest against the incumbent Democrat City Council Member Justin Brannan to think that a respectable, attractive candidate was running against Brannan, and a pro-active and effective campaign was being waged against the incumbent councilman

The numbers on election day and since pretty clearly indicate that nothing could have been further from the truth

Brian Fox and the Brian Fox for City Council campaign hardly moved the needle up, down, or sideways compared to the results from the prior election between Brannan and Quaglione

In two elections in a row, with two completely different styles of Republican-Conservative candidates, the election results showed a nearly identical numerical outcome in the voting for the 43rd City Council District. Both times the Democrat Justin Brannan won with a nearly 50-50 split between the voters that voted for Brannan and those that voted against him.

In 2021,  neither the issues raised nor the intensity of the campaigning seemed to matter even a little once the votes were all counted.  Whatever re-election strategy was pursued by Brannan,  it didn't click to advanse his vote even a little. Conversely, nothing done by the GOP-Conservative side ate into Brannan's 2017 vote in anyway that really mattered to the outcome in 2021's hotly contested election.

The "... delusion and madness of [the pro-Fox] crowd[ ]" continued to be on full diplay even after the reality of Fox's loss was well-known and widely acknowledged.  The Fox folks kept  telling anybody that might be listening to them that the Fox-McCabe campaign against Brannan had been well done, and should have resulted in a Fox win.  Clearly any such expression is "... delusion and madness...";  and it ignores the real facts in the real world.

If anybody on any side of the great partisan divide that appparently exists in the near-purple area and district in Southwest Brooklyn does not approach the election results in 2021 as a cautionary tale, they are being very foolish. That also applies to the internecine warfare that has already broken out inside the Brooklyn GOP over all that happened in 2021 from January through November.

Now, some might argue that 2021 was a "one-off" kind of election  ---  that would be too pat an answer  ---  and it would be an example of sinful sloth.....  It would also be a very bad way to kick off the preparations for the rather quick turnaround for the City Council election in 2023; or the even sooner, the statewide federal and NYS offices, and the federal congressional and NYS legislative local elections of 2022.

Moving forward means "moving in" for Fox and friends in the Brooklyn GOP

Brian Fox's post-concession Meta [formerly just "Facebook"] message to his "supporters" rattled some GOP cages and even pulled some GOP chains

Rightly or wrongly, the anti-McCabe factions in the Brooklyn GOP are ready to etch this recently past Brian Fox campaign into stone tablets as the "EPIC FAIL OF MC CABE'S CONSULTING CAREER" and the final nail in his political coffin

Many old[er]-line Brooklyn Republicans started out by not liking Liam McCabe  ---  and they haven't changed their opinions one bit because of what went down in 2021.....    Mostly, the same folks didn't know Brian Fox at the start of the 2021 campaign  ---  and of those, most didn't like what they saw and heard [or just as important, what they didn't see or didn't hear] from him  during the whole of the 2021 campaign.....

It's pretty safe to say that they want a McCabe-Fox political tagteam as a part in their lives now about as much as a case of the clap.....

This story is very interesting  ---  since it seems to be going forward quickly,

One of the more interesting parts is that a couple of the anti-McCabe-anti-Fox people, who we know as such, have posted laudatory comments about the McCabe-run Fox campaign on the thread following Fox's statement on Meta [formerly just "Facebook"]. These stood out to us for two main reasons, their mendacity and their cynicism. They also stood out starkly in between all the trash talk on the Fox campaign's Meta page going back'n'forth between the Fox friends and those Democrats or more left-wing supporters of Brannan.

Brian Fox has lost his apparent 255 vote Election Night lead in the first day of counting abentee ballots at the Board of Elections

Almost three-quarters of the paper ballots with markings for the City Council candidates Brian Fox or Justin Brannan that have been counted thus far have been for Brannan

The vote count continues at the Brooklyn BOE in spite of multiple efforts by Team Fox to interfere with a proper count of  "paper ballots" by the BOE officials

If the current trends continue, Brannan's ultimate victory over Fox could be as many as 1100-to-1200 votes [more likely  ---  it will be by a margin of about half that number]

[More detailed  info when we have it.....]

The "best man" --- OR --- How the "Old" Brooklyn GOP lost its chance to take back the Bay Ridge-Dyker Heights-Bath Beach City Council seat

With an analysis of which votes came from where  ---  one thing is clear  ---  if John Quaglione had been willing to run again against Justin Brannan,  the Brooklyn GOP would be sitting pretty confident right now that it had elected two new members to the New York City Council  ---  and there would be no waiting around to see if Brannan could pull a rabbit-out-of the-hat with the absentee ballots.....

If the GOP and Coservatives had gone with Quaglione, the mini-Red-Wave would have easily been enough to push him over the top  ---  and it would have been Justin Brannan on the outside looking in  ---  instead of the other way around, which is the way it's now likely to stay

We had a long conversation early last week with a key Brooklyn GOP insider, and they were clear about a lot of things concerning the 43rd DIstrict City Council race, John Quaglione's hand in it or not in it, and Brian Fox's starting out and remaining an outsider to the long-time Brooklyn GOPers.

First, if John Quaglione had wanted to run again, he would have been the preferred GOP candidate to run for City Council against Justin Brannan.

Second, in the beginning, nobody knew Brian Fox among the established GOP activists and Kings County GOP executive  members.  What little support he had was from Liam's faction and a few others behaind Ghorra, who only wanted to block Bob Capano and Craig Eaton from getting back in like they had with Vito Bruno's candidacy in 2020.

Third, after they got to know Fox, they didn't like him for a variety of reasons  ---  not the least of which was that Fox never seemed to learn anybody's name, regardless of what they were or could be doing for the Fox campaign in their home areas.

Bottom line, Quaglione would have come into the 2021 campaign for CIty Council with a lot more going for him than Fox.  However, there were enough people who convinced John Q. that he was more important as GOP District Leader for the 46th AD, and other outside personal reasons for his not running for the Council again that   ---  Quaglione was adament in his decision not to run for the city council in 2021 and also run for district leader.

Almost as important, there are still enough "Old Brooklyn GOP" types that believe a Fox win at this time would not be in their personal interest.  At least a few of those are pretty high and deep into the Brooklyn office of the Board of Elections  ---  and they have no faith that a Fox win would be good for their political and/or  professional careers at "the Board" or any place else.

So, whether Fox wins or loses at the Board this week, most of the GOP-types at the Board know deep in their hearts that it don't make sense for them to want it to be Fox.  Their last chance to have a real rooting interest in the outcome ended when John Quaglione took a pass on running for New York City Council in 2021.

Don't forget that this week former President Trump went after Nicole openly and in public --- and she had to just sit there and take it

It's been reported that Former President Trump went on a Jeremiad ealier this week against the thirteen House Republicans who helped push through President Joe Biden’s massive infrastructure bill.....

One of those present in the audience to hear the whole rant was our very own Member of Congress  ---  Nicole Malliotakis  ---  who seemed to suffer a case of the vapors as a result  ---  because she was one of those thirteen disloyal Republicans to Trump's way of thinking

According to a New York Post report about all of this, freshman GOP-Cons. Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, from Staten Island and parts of Brooklyn,  appeared to be “visibly shaken” as former President Trump attacked her and 12 of her GOP colleagues during a speech he was delivering at Monday's National Republican Congressional Committee dinner

>>>  Malliotakis was skewered so badly by the former President, whom she had voted to impeach earlier this year, that the NY Post Editorial Board felt that they had to try to come to her defense   <<<

According to Trump,  Nicole Malliotakis and those other twelve GOP Members of Congress were bad Republicans, acting as Nancy Pelosi's and Joe Biden's toadies and sock puppets when they helped the Democrats pass their infrastructure bill to last week by a 228-206 vote.

The next day, after roasting Malliotakis to her face at the GOP function on Monday, Trump followed up and said that they all "..  had voted for a terrible Democrat Socialist Infrastructure Plan instead of getting behind "... a great Infrastructure Plan wanting to be put forward by [Trump's supporters inside] the Republican Party?...”

Try to stay focused on what really went down in Washington last Friday when Malliotakis cast her lot with the Democrats.   This so-called "Infrastructure Bill" is very little about replacing and upgrading necessary, but worn out and failing, infrastructure in and around Nicole Malliotakis' home district, or even the whole of the City and/or State of New York.

When Malliotakis makes her excuses,  she is starting to look and sound like an old tweaker broad coming up to us in the street for a grift of some sort

Malliotakis has been tweaking her reasons for backing this massive liberal/ progressive spending bill that is less than one-half devoted to real infrastructure. First, she said that the bipartisan infrastructure package will deliver a minimum of $27 billion to New York State for local infrastructure projects..... Get that  >>>  sign off on another Trillion Dollars in spending to get the WHOLE STATE OF NEW YORK  ---  $27 BILLION  ---  that's not just for her district, and not just for the whole City of New York  ---  but it's for the whole state.  BTW, that's not even a good deal for upgrading  the "infrastructure" throughout the whole State of New York.

Just a couple of days ago, Malliotakis needed to do another of her own personal "clean up(s) on aisle three" for her vote in favor of the "Infrastructure Bill."  ---   So, she appeared on Fox News, and in essence, dissembled through the whole interview mixing up many of the spending categories in the bill that she did vote for, and saying that they were really part of another spending bill that she says she is opposed to. She also did some quick legerdemain making the actual amount spent on hard infrastructure in the bill she voted for seem to be about twice as much as it really is (compared to the amount spent on non-infrastructure items)  ---  and she "knows" all  that she talked about on Fox,  because she said she read the whole "Infrastructure Bill" before she voted for it.....  Overall, during the Fox interview this week, Nicole was more slippery than somebody using lubri-gel to slither into a latex cat suit, when she jumped from descriptions of projects for her district, and the rest of NYC, to the gross amounts of money being spent on stuff like that across the whole country.....

Here's where Congresswoman Malliotakis' maths break down on this "Infrastructure Bill"   ---   using  Nicole's own $27 Billion figure for all of NY State (because, remember, she read the whole bill)  ---  that's out of $1.2 Trillion in spending  ---  that's just  >>>  $27 Billions-out-of- $1200 Billions  <<<   OR JUST  TWO-AND-A-QUARTER PERCENT (2.25%)     >>>>>>>>>  Since what New York State sends the Feds (including the Congress) in Washington, D.C. is about Eight Percent (8%) of  Washington's total revenue   ---   any spending back in New York at a rate of 2.25% of that spending is a very, very bad deal for New York.

MAKE NO MISTAKE
 >>>  NYC  AND THE 13TH CONGRSSIONAL DISTRICT HAVE MASSIVE INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS  <<<
>>>  HOWEVER, MALLIOTAKIS' VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS' INFRASTRUCTURE BILL ONLY HELPS WITH THAT A VERY LITTLE BIT  <<<
>>>  AND THAT AT A VERY HUGE COST TO OURSELVES  ---  AND EVEN MORE TO OUR CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN  <<<

For now, Trump is completely right about Nicole  ---  and  ---  the New York Post has got this one all wrong.....

OK !!! All you sports fans and happy campers --- try having a "HAPPY" Veterans Day after this.....

We are here to tell you just how bad things really are.....

We're all running around, and nobody knows whether to shit or get laid.....

Here's the good and the bad news  ---  we've all been fucked  ---  and we'll never be fucked again !!!

At least that means our existential choices have been made much simpler  ---  Also, before you get on the road to Wigan Pier don't forget to put out all your aspidistra(s) for all to see

Today, I was privileged to receive a multi-part message from the two men still vying to be the representative "everyman" from the 43rd Council District in the New York City Council. However, the message necessarily required my own input by the way of a couple of necessary questions for the later parts of the message to have context and meaning.

The first part of the message was from Mr. Fox and it was on his campaign's Facebook page  ---  and on the surface it looked quite appropriate and non-controversial  (and, yes, I did mark this date on my calendar)  ---  here's what Brian Fox said as part of his Veteran's Day message "Honoring All Who Served":
"Today we honor those who served to protect our nation and defend our freedoms. To our #veterans, we say thank you! #VeteransDay ...."

That was simple and straightforward, but it prompted me to ask myself --- protected our nation from what ??? And then, defended what and/or which freedoms ?????

Little did I expect an almost immediate answer from Justin Brannan on his Twitter feed.....  Here's what Mr. Brannan writ: "If we are truly a city of immigrants then the immigrant experience should center every decision we make as a city.... For the family that just arrived here, what does our city look like through their eyes?..."

But Justin wasn't finished with his thought --- and so, he went on with this: ".... When a new New Yorker walks into the office of a city agency, are they greeted by someone who looks like them and speaks their language?... How do we ensure immigrants can harness the promise and possibilities of this great city just like those who were born here?..."

But Brannan still had more: ".... Because I don't care if you've been here since birth or if you've been here since breakfast, this is YOUR CITY.... Thank you @thenyic @NYICAction for bringing us all together tonight!..."

Just think about what the combined messages from out two most recent candidates for our corner of Brooklyn are telling us. With Brannan and Fox around, who needs George Orwell ???

Well, thank God, our veterans didn't try to defend us from those that had just arrived for this morning's breakfast and all the freedoms that we, who were born here, think we might uniquely enjoy becasue we are born and bred Americans.....

BTW, don't keep your aspidistra flying out-of-doors during a NYC winter. It just won't do that well.

Meanwhile --- As of this morning --- Justin Brannan is taking some sort of a pre-final-count victory lap in a podcast through Spectrum News/ NY 1

It's one of those Pat Kiernan "Crosstown" things.....

According to a Brannan Tweet this morning:  "I lived with @RogerClark41 for the last 48 hours of my campaign for @patkiernan 's podcast. It was fun.... In our part of Brooklyn, Dems fight for every vote. The privilege of representing 170,000 of your neighbors is no joke and a job worth fighting for...."

Here's how Kiernan and the NY1 folks described their Brannan material:
"... NY1’s Roger Clark followed New York City Councilman Justin Brannan during the final 48 hours of his reelection campaign. He got a behind-the-scenes look at last-minute campaigning, poll site jitters, and a victory speech that might have been given a bit too early — because a week after Election Day, the race is still too close to call. Pat Kiernan speaks with Roger and political director Bob Hardt about an exciting 48 hours in city politics....  Join the conversation using #NY1Crosstown....  If you like what you hear, share this podcast with your friends and family — it's free for all New Yorkers and beyond. Leave us a rating and review where ever you listen...." (See "An inside look at the final hours of a local election campaign" by Spectrum News Staff, 11/9/2021,  Spectrum New --NY 1/ Podcast  [https://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/crosstown-with-pat-kiernan/2021/11/08/crosstown-with-pat-kiernan-an-inside-look-at-the-final-hours-of-a-local-election-campaign]).

The time has come to bell this cat --- perhaps Liam Ambrose McCabe has become the biggest blight in the Brooklyn GOP --- Ceratinly, he is an integral part of a cabal keeping the Brooklyn GOP from being truly "Republican" and/or truly "conservative".....

The proof is not in what McCabe did to enable and facilitate Brian Fox's farrago of fabrications and frauds  ---  and possibly put that miscreant creature over the top as the next City Council Member to represent the 43rd City Council District  [that reckoning must await the final curtain's coming down on the McCabe-run 2021 Fox Campaign for City Council]  >>>  presently,  the proof is on McCabe's social media  and in his recent postings in praise and support of Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis and her recent vote in support of President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi  ---  which gave Demorats everywhere a much needed win  ---  and more important, provided Dems everywhere with a much-more-needed levee or dam against this year's GOP mini-Red-tide, wave or surge nationally against so many state and local Democrat candidates, ballot propositions, and other initiatives.....

As of a little after 10:00 AM on Monday, November 9, 2021, here are the top two items on Liam Ambrose McCabe's  Facebook page:

"Anna Shpilkovskaya is with George Passariello and 59 others [including Liam Anbrose McCabe]....  [Joined, Re-tweeted and/or Shared by Liam Ambrose McCabe at @ 6:00 PM 11/7/2021]...   Of course AOC didn't vote for the desperately needed infrastructure bill 20 Republican Senators and 13 Congressional Republicans including our own Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis supported - Nicole Malliotakis voted for something that excluded the Squad's socialist agenda and did good for the district. We need to improve our infrastructure but AOC thinks her district should suffer while she throws her child's tantrum of demanding what she's not getting because what she wants again doesn't make sense. #ProudOfNicole #Infrustructure.... This is a stand alone bill that is only focused on Infrastructure - it's a win for the subways, highways, roads and us...."

[FYI, that last bit about "... a stand alone bill that is only focused on Infrastructure..." is a complete sham and an absolute lie  ---  GM]

Good reading... [link to NY Post article "New Yorkers blast AOC and Jamal Bowman for infrastructure vote betrayal"]..."

As with so much that has come from Liam McCabe for a very long time, this is the intential repetition of a false narrative. In this instance, it takes something that is really part of the mainstream progressive Democrat agenda and dresses it up like it is something that conservative Republicans should advocate and support.

IT IS NOT  ---   AND NO WE SHOULDN'T  !!!

WAKE UP REPUBLICANS  ---   AS IS TOO OFTEN THE CASE  ---  WE HAVE MET THE ENEMY AND THEY ARE US  ---  AND THIS TIME,  THEY ARE LOOKING AN AWFUL LOT LIKE LIAM MC CABE

She did it again --- Nicole Malliotakis bolted from the GOP caucus and gave her vote to Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats

Reversing a months-long trend of bad news for Joe Biden and the Democrats, including this week's mini-Red-Tide election, which generally favored the GOP and conservatives across the USA  ---  Nicole Malliotakis voted with the overwhelming majority of Democrats in the U.S. Congress, and against the overwhelming majority of her erstwhile Republican "colleagues"  ---  in helping to pass Biden's and Pelosi's more than one trillion dollar "Infrastructure Bill"   >>> less than half of which [ about $550 billion ] is slated for real concrete and steel infrastructure <<<

With a Republican-Conservative endoresed RINO like Nicole  >>>  we don't need any Democrats, like Max Rose, to run in the NY 13th Congressional District <<<  she is a reliable vote for Nancy Pelosi's Democrat majority when called upon to switch sides from the pretty solid GOP opposition

It's only because of RINOs like Malliotakis, that the so-called "Infrastucture Bill" sometimes gets to be referred to as the "Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill"

With her almost necessary particpation in Biden's first "victory" in a very, very long time, it should now be clear to everybody that Nicole Malliotakis has been a long-time self -server that is not a loyal and reliable Republican on key votes (also, she started out as a "Never Trumper" that then was one of the few Republicans that voted to impeach him when he was President).

Almost everybody knows after seeing her for almost twenty years in public life, going back to before she even was first elected to the NYS Assembly, that she has always been aloof and distant even from her "friends" inside the GOP.  Furthermore, she also has had a history of not getting along with the staffs of her fellow Republican officeholders: and more than once had serious run-ins and fallings-out with key members of her own staff.  This has led some Republicans that have known her very well to say that she really doesn't get along with very many Republicans and/or Conservatives, either locally or down in Washington.

For her whole career, she has been a net MINUS to the Republican Party, and its loyal base of voters in both Brooklyn and Staten Island. It's time for the GOP to dump Nicole  ---  we can't hope that the Democrats will do it for us next year.

Big statewide story not being talked about in Brooklyn --- even though a key Brooklyn GOP-Conservative Party player is at the center of it.....

THIS IS FROM A REPORT IN THE "ALBANY TIMES UNION"  ---  "...  Before voters went to the polls on Tuesday, the state Conservative Party spent $3 million attempting to defeat three proposed constitutional amendments – an effort that proved successful....  By late Tuesday, it became clear that propositions 1, 3 and 4, which would have altered the state’s redistricting process and allowed same-day voter registration as well as no-excuse absentee ballots, were all defeated....  Still, the public had no know way to immediately know who had funded the multi-million dollar campaign against the initiatives, including attack ads. The origin of the funding may not be known until January because the ads were paid for by a political spending vehicle that critics have long derided as a major loophole....  State Conservative Party Chairman Gera[r]d [Jerry] Kassar confirmed that the $3 million effort was paid for by the Conservatives’ 'housekeeping' account...."                                                                                                               ---  (See "Millions in secret ballot spending raises legal question ---  Housekeeping accounts were tapped to fund support and opposition to ballot propositions that were defeated"  by Chris Bragg,  11/4/2021, Albany Times Union/ State   [https://www.timesunion.com/state/article/Millions-in-secret-ballot-spending-raises-legal-16593253.php]).

Irrespective of anything else, thank God that Kassar and the Conservatives were successful in stopping three of the most onerous inititatives on the ballot, which would have ushered in 2020-style instant registration, mail-in and drop-off voting without ballot security, and other ballot access reforms. All of this was strongly supported by the Democrats, who were also using funds from their own "housekeeping accounts".....

Here's the rub  ---   It's not clear whether spending from a party's "housekeeping account" on any of the ballot initiatives on election day would be considered one of the  "ordinary activities" of a political party.  A state Board of Elections spokesman has said that there are serious questions by the NYS BOE about using the spending mechanism of a poltical party's "housekeeping accounts" in this way for questions on the ballot on election day.

For Brian Fox and Justin Brannan, it pretty much will come down to who wins in the race that was had for the "absentee ballots" for voters from the 43rd City Council District

There are  >>> at least 1456 "absentee ballots" <<<  yet to be counted.....

The Democrats appear to have had about a five-to-one advantage in the number of "absentee ballots" requested and mailed-in to date.....

In 2020, Vito Bruno and Mark Szuszkiewicz, Republican candidates with apparent Election Night victories,  saw their substantial early leads wiped out by a deluge of Democrat absentee and/or mail-in ballots

It's been reported by Jessica Parks in the Brooklyn Paper that a Democrat observer and spokesperson said this:
“We are confident that when all the votes are counted, Councilmember Justin Brannan will be re-elected despite a nationally turbulent atmosphere. [Just like in the 2020 elections for the State Senate and the NYS Assembly in the same area as Brannan's district], absentee votes will make up the margin of victory, and Democrats have a massive 1,083 to 281 lead with absentees as of Tuesday... [And t]his Democratic edge will only grow as more ballots are returned — which is why we are confident we expect to overwhelmingly win on paper and prevail once every vote is counted.”

That is one of the reasons that Councilman Justin Brannan was quite comfortable to have Tweeted this after Brian Fox's 255 vote lead had been announced:
"...  Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. You know when people say "every vote counts"? Well, this is what what they mean. We will be fine. We just need to count every damn vote!..."

Of course, Brian Fox appeared to have been equally confident when he posted this on his campaign Facebook page:
"... With 95% of the vote in we can say we won the night! However there are still absentee and military ballots coming in and we must wait for them to be counted for a final result. We do expect to win them as well...."

At this stage, one thing is very clear  ---   this election for City Council between Brannan and Brian is far from over.....

At about 4:00 AM on November 3, 2021 --- Brian Fox had a slim lead of about 250 votes over Justin Brannan in the race for the 43rd City Council District seat now held by Democrat Justin Brannan

Both candidates are expressing confidence that when all the paper ballots are counted,  each of their sides will be victorious.  ---  Regardless of the candidates' level of confidence and their brave "election night" pronouncements,  as a matter of logic and necessity, one of them will be right and the other wrong.

According to the NY Times updated results at 4:00 AM, the results from the BOE for the 43rd Council District were as follows:

With approximately 95% of the vote counted...

Brian Fox...              Republican...  12,145 Votes...   50.5%
Justin Brannan*...   Democrat...    11,890 Votes...    49.5%

_______________
*Incumbent

Even though there are a substantial number of votes yet to be tabulated in this contest, most deli counters couldn't slice ham any thinner than the current margin between these two candidates.

Remember, no count is "official" until the formal "recanvas" of the votes is completed and certified by the BOE.

Most people were surprised by the closeness of the vote between Brian and Brannan. The only ones that were not, were those that were too completely shocked to have been merely surprised.

No wonder Brian Fox didn't want us to know that he was from New Jersey.....

Obviously, Brian Fox has been trying to cover up his history of drunk and reckless driving charges in New Jersey, with the whole works of penalties including suspensions of driving privileges and auto registration(s).....

But wait, it gets even worse than that  ---  it also appears that Brian Fox doesn't want anybody to know that he also has a history of restraining orders, contempt of court citations, and arrest warrants for breach of restraining orders  ---  also in the State of New Jersey

So far, Fox's response has been to try to tough it out, and follow his own advice to friends of his from earlier in his life to "keep [his/ their] mouth(s) shut" about any of this  ---   In other words instead of any denial, or explanation, or apology to the voters in the 43rd Council District for his failure to disclose this material, Fox has chosen to say nothing at all about these charges  ---  but instead, he chose to make new lying promises that he would begin to restore police and fire services on the day after the election, if he were the winner for City Council in the 43rd District

From the very beginning of his campaign, this independent Republican blog has been saying that Fox's atttempt to bury his personal history was obviously an attempt to cover up something that was completely disqualifying.  ---  Step by step, item by item, that is proving to be 100% accurate and true

For more than a day now, it's been reported on social media by Radio Free Bay Ridge, and since late yesterday by an anonymous commenter on this blog, that Brian Fox has had a history of criminal charges and court sanctions in the State of New Jersey.....

Our own research found that the drunk and reckless driving charges were just one of several moving violations including speeding, reckless driving and failure to observe traffic signals charged against Brian Fox at various times in and around the jurisdiction of West Windsor, New Jersey during 2009 & 2010, which resulted in a suspension of driving privileges and a revocation of Fox's vehicle registration; also in 2010, Fox was stopped and charged with driving with a suspended license and registration in Princeton, New Jersey.

As to the charges related to contempt for violation of a domestic violence restraining order, those charges came out in court in New Brunswick, New Jersey in May and June of 2011; and it resulted from an offense that occurred in April, 2011.  As part of those proceedings, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Brian Fox in April of 2011.

IT NEEDS TO BE NOTED THAT  ---  the response of Brian Fox, the GOP-Conservative Party candidate for City Council in the 43rd Council District, to the revelation of his criminal history related to these very serious charges has been  >>>  NOTHING !!!!! <<<

Instead, Fox as his most recent public statement after these disclosures chose not to address them at all, but instead he demanded that Councilman Brannan and Mayor de Blasio rescind the vaccine mandates, and open all the closed fire houses; and then in the same statement, Fox made the open and public lie that within a day after he is elected to the NY City Council, firehouses and other first-responder facilities would begin to reopen.....
