Today, I was privileged to receive a multi-part message from the two men still vying to be the representative "everyman" from the 43rd Council District in the New York City Council. However, the message necessarily required my own input by the way of a couple of necessary questions for the later parts of the message to have context and meaning.
Little did I expect an almost immediate answer from Justin Brannan on his Twitter feed..... Here's what Mr. Brannan writ: "If we are truly a city of immigrants then the immigrant experience should center every decision we make as a city.... For the family that just arrived here, what does our city look like through their eyes?..."
But Justin wasn't finished with his thought --- and so, he went on with this: ".... When a new New Yorker walks into the office of a city agency, are they greeted by someone who looks like them and speaks their language?... How do we ensure immigrants can harness the promise and possibilities of this great city just like those who were born here?..."

SO, EITHER HE FORGOT WHAT HE SAID BEFORE OR HE NEVER SAID IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.....
ALL THAT IT SHOWS IS THAT HE CAN'T BE VERY SERIOUS IN WHATEVER HE MIGHT HAVE TO SAY --- BECAUSE HE IS ALWAYS ACTING LIKE A BUFFOON IN HIS OWN GRAND GUIGNOL PERFORMANCE
Yesterday, Brian Fox supposedly said this on his campaign's Facebook page: "... I am calling on Councilman Justin Brannan to reveal what he knows about the dead voters who did in fact cast votes in our election and to join in our investigation of this #crime. We have Private Investigators pursuing these fraudulent votes but we ask the Councilman to use the full leverage of his office to bear on this investigation...."
Fox must have forgatten that just two days earlier, he said much the same thing --- having been quoted on Liam Ambrose McCabe's Facebook page, as follows: "... 'Needless to say, I remain curious why Justin Brannan remains so confident [of a win]. He seems to know what’s in sealed ballot envelopes, and in light of our discovery of fraud, I ask him to return from Puerto Rico and join me in looking at these ballots with a fine-toothed comb,' said Fox, referring to the councilman’s trip to the Somos conference in San Juan last week...."
At best, Mr. Fox must think that he is a character in an Agatha Christie novel, playing the unofficial sleuth investigating whatever he seems to think is a "crime" --- and expecting that anybody else would be willing to join him in his solving it. At worst, he's somebody with a serious personality disorder or disturbance, whose condition causes alarmist outbursts about metaphysical events, which must seem very real and firighteneing to him --- coupled with grandiose notions of his own abilities and authority.
Maybe someday Fox will learn that there are agencies, laws, and procedures in place to deal with any allegations that he might choose to make in due course. Meawhile, we'll just have to watch as Fox leads his army of "private investigators" into battle against his demons and hobgoblins.
Today Brian Fox will have another poorly attended "press" "conference" outside the office of our esteemed local City Council Member where he will cast doubt on the election results knowing he is going to loose
What will come out soon is the pattern of voters who have been dead for decade but cast ballots in 2020 & 2021. And yes the dem & GOP BOE officials are investigating as well. The Council Speaker in waiting Adrienne Adams has a bi-partisan plan.
