Don't forget that this week former President Trump went after Nicole openly and in public --- and she had to just sit there and take it

It's been reported that Former President Trump went on a Jeremiad ealier this week against the thirteen House Republicans who helped push through President Joe Biden’s massive infrastructure bill.....

One of those present in the audience to hear the whole rant was our very own Member of Congress  ---  Nicole Malliotakis  ---  who seemed to suffer a case of the vapors as a result  ---  because she was one of those thirteen disloyal Republicans to Trump's way of thinking

According to a New York Post report about all of this, freshman GOP-Cons. Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, from Staten Island and parts of Brooklyn,  appeared to be “visibly shaken” as former President Trump attacked her and 12 of her GOP colleagues during a speech he was delivering at Monday's National Republican Congressional Committee dinner

>>>  Malliotakis was skewered so badly by the former President, whom she had voted to impeach earlier this year, that the NY Post Editorial Board felt that they had to try to come to her defense   <<<

According to Trump,  Nicole Malliotakis and those other twelve GOP Members of Congress were bad Republicans, acting as Nancy Pelosi's and Joe Biden's toadies and sock puppets when they helped the Democrats pass their infrastructure bill to last week by a 228-206 vote.

The next day, after roasting Malliotakis to her face at the GOP function on Monday, Trump followed up and said that they all "..  had voted for a terrible Democrat Socialist Infrastructure Plan instead of getting behind "... a great Infrastructure Plan wanting to be put forward by [Trump's supporters inside] the Republican Party?...”

Try to stay focused on what really went down in Washington last Friday when Malliotakis cast her lot with the Democrats.   This so-called "Infrastructure Bill" is very little about replacing and upgrading necessary, but worn out and failing, infrastructure in and around Nicole Malliotakis' home district, or even the whole of the City and/or State of New York.

When Malliotakis makes her excuses,  she is starting to look and sound like an old tweaker broad coming up to us in the street for a grift of some sort

Malliotakis has been tweaking her reasons for backing this massive liberal/ progressive spending bill that is less than one-half devoted to real infrastructure. First, she said that the bipartisan infrastructure package will deliver a minimum of $27 billion to New York State for local infrastructure projects..... Get that  >>>  sign off on another Trillion Dollars in spending to get the WHOLE STATE OF NEW YORK  ---  $27 BILLION  ---  that's not just for her district, and not just for the whole City of New York  ---  but it's for the whole state.  BTW, that's not even a good deal for upgrading  the "infrastructure" throughout the whole State of New York.

Just a couple of days ago, Malliotakis needed to do another of her own personal "clean up(s) on aisle three" for her vote in favor of the "Infrastructure Bill."  ---   So, she appeared on Fox News, and in essence, dissembled through the whole interview mixing up many of the spending categories in the bill that she did vote for, and saying that they were really part of another spending bill that she says she is opposed to. She also did some quick legerdemain making the actual amount spent on hard infrastructure in the bill she voted for seem to be about twice as much as it really is (compared to the amount spent on non-infrastructure items)  ---  and she "knows" all  that she talked about on Fox,  because she said she read the whole "Infrastructure Bill" before she voted for it.....  Overall, during the Fox interview this week, Nicole was more slippery than somebody using lubri-gel to slither into a latex cat suit, when she jumped from descriptions of projects for her district, and the rest of NYC, to the gross amounts of money being spent on stuff like that across the whole country.....

Here's where Congresswoman Malliotakis' maths break down on this "Infrastructure Bill"   ---   using  Nicole's own $27 Billion figure for all of NY State (because, remember, she read the whole bill)  ---  that's out of $1.2 Trillion in spending  ---  that's just  >>>  $27 Billions-out-of- $1200 Billions  <<<   OR JUST  TWO-AND-A-QUARTER PERCENT (2.25%)     >>>>>>>>>  Since what New York State sends the Feds (including the Congress) in Washington, D.C. is about Eight Percent (8%) of  Washington's total revenue   ---   any spending back in New York at a rate of 2.25% of that spending is a very, very bad deal for New York.

MAKE NO MISTAKE
 >>>  NYC  AND THE 13TH CONGRSSIONAL DISTRICT HAVE MASSIVE INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS  <<<
>>>  HOWEVER, MALLIOTAKIS' VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS' INFRASTRUCTURE BILL ONLY HELPS WITH THAT A VERY LITTLE BIT  <<<
>>>  AND THAT AT A VERY HUGE COST TO OURSELVES  ---  AND EVEN MORE TO OUR CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN  <<<

For now, Trump is completely right about Nicole  ---  and  ---  the New York Post has got this one all wrong.....

A SIMPLE COMPARISON: THE "DON'T FORGET NICOLE SAID THAT SHE READ THIS BILL" EDITION

NICOLE MALLIOTAKIS' JUSTIFICATION FOR HER "YES" VOTE WAS THE $27 BILLION FOR INFRASTRUCTURE IN NEW YORK STATE --- WELL, HERE IS A PRETTY CLOSE AMOUNT TO THAT ($25 BILLION) --- WHICH IS BEING SPENT ON WHO KNOWS WHAT FOR GOD KNOWS WHY.....

The "Infrastructure Bill" just approved by Congress with the support of Nicole Malliotakis includes around $25 billion in spending for energy technology demonstration projects, as well as targeted budget increases for various R&D programs at the Department of Energy and the U.S. Geological Survey for the reduction of carbon emissions and related matters.

RESPONSE: THE "AT LEAST AOC CLEANS UP NICE --- CUTE AS A BUTTON IN SOME PIX" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 5:47 PM"

WE ARE WITH AOC WHEN IT COMES TO HER "NO" VOTE ON THE INFRASTRUCTURE BILL --- EVEN A STOPPED CLOCK IS RIGHT TWICE A DAY.....

AOC is a stopped clock with a nice face. We could never tell what time it is when it came to trying to read Nicole; and her face is getting to be so, soon it will be able to stop a clock.

Just trying to be objective..... Or is that "objectifying" ?????

Looks aren't everything, but they ain't nothing either.

MEANWHILE BACK TO SOME REAL SILLY STUFF: THE "THREE CREEPY GUYS TRYING TO STALK SOMEBODY THAT'S OBVIOUSLY SOMEPLACE ELSE" EDITION

ALL DRESSED UP WITH NO PLACE TO GO AND NOTHING TO DO !!! --- IT JUST LOOKS LIKE THREE GUYS WEARIN' RED FLEECE VESTS AND TRYING TO SEE IF JUSTIN BRANNAN WANTS TO COME OUT AND PLAY.....

BUT SINCE WE KNOW WHO IT IS, IT'S JUST ANOTHER LOL MOMENT OF THE STRETCHED OUT FOX CAMPAIGN --- GETTING TO BE ALMOST TWO WEEKS AFTER ELECTION DAY

Is this stalking, or is it trolling, or is it tralking, or is it stolling ????? What it really ain't is "cool".....

We get it --- it's three "private dicks" lookin' for clues to a "crime". I love the way Brian is on his cell getting further instructions from "MR. BIG".....

[[[ See video of these three guys in action at: https://twitter.com/WWCDinn3r/status/1458851127236173833?s=20 ]]]

POSSIBLY A REPORT FROM A BANNED SOURCE: THE "NOW, WE AREN'T ACTUALLY SAYING THAT THIS STUFF IS DIRECTLY FROM BOB CAPANO --- BUT WE'RE DEFINITELY NOT SAYING THAT IT ISN'T EITHER" EDITION

SOMETIMES --- JUST SOMETIMES --- WE BELIEVE OUR READERS HAVE A RIGHT TO HEAR FROM ALL POV --- EVEN FROM PEOPLE WITH SMALL HANDS AND FEET, AND AT LEAST ONE WELL-KNOWN PHOTO ON THE R-TRAIN DRINKING SOMETHING OUT OF A CAN THAT MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT BE AN IMPORTED DUTCH BEER.....

Like Arby's, "WE HAVE THE MEATS" --- so, here's the beef from ykw --- "Trump will endorse and campaign for Fossella for Congress next year...." ".... It is a done deal...." "Rudy Giuliani said as much yesterday...." --- And here's the comic relief, also from ykw --- ".... Capano is back!..."

That's all folks --- what were you expecting, "War and Peace" ???

Somebody needs to cobble together some CGI adds of Nicole Malliotakis using Bay Ridge's own Calvert DeForest, because our freshman congresswoman is now certainly "Toast on a Stick" inside the GOP.

oh did you hear gale. nicole is toast on a stick. gale and the rest of the losers have been underestimating nicole for over a decade. nicole always wins. and she will win against schumer.

Nicole couldn't win a beauty contest against Amy Schumer, and Uncle Chuck will only chuckle at the prospect of taking on Nicole for the Senate.

The last time the Conservatives ran a redistricted local Republican for the U.S. Senate it was Florence Sullivan; and look how that turned out.

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "UNINFORMED BRIAN FOX SEEKS TO MISINFORM THE VOTERS" EDITION

YESTERDAY, BRIAN FOX WITH MICHAEL BISTREICH AT HIS SIDE, SPOKE TO A TV INTERVIEWER ON THIRD AVENUE NEAR THE OFFICE OF HIS OPPONENT JUSTIN BRANNAN

THE LATEST COUNT OF "DEAD PEOPLE" VOTING IS NOW UP TO ELEVEN (11) --- THAT'S ACCORDING TO BRIAN FOX, BASED UPON WHAT HE'S BEEN TOLD BY HIS "LAWYERS AND PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS"

BASED UPON THIS BOMBSHELL INFORMATION --- FOX AND HIS TEAM CALLED A SERIES OF PRESS CONFERENCES IN ORDER TO MAKE PUBLIC STATEMENTS CALLING ON COUNCILMAN JUSTIN BRANNAN AND THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS TO JOIN WITH FOX TO GET TO TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS THREAT TO THE ELECTION PROCESS

LET'S PUT THAT ALL INTO SOME KIND OF CONTEXT --- SO FAR, THE FOX TEAM HAS FOUND ELEVEN (11) POSSIBLY FRAUDULENT BALLOTS (MOST OR ALL OF WHICH MIGHT NOT BE COUNTED BECAUSE OF APPARENT IRREGULARITIES) --- AND FOX IS CALLING FOR A SWEEPING INVESTIGATION INVOLVING EVERYBODY IN SIGHT TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT >>> FOR THE INTEGRITY OF THE ELECTION PROCESS

FOX'S EVIDENCE THUS FAR (IF, IN FACT, IT EVEN IS "EVIDENCE" ANYTHING AT ALL) INVOLVES FAR LESS THAN ONE-ONE-HUNDRETH-OF-ONE-PERCENT OF THE TOTAL VOTE CAST (IT'S REALLY ABOUT FOUR-ONE-THOUSANTHS-OF-ONE-PERCENT [0.0042%] OF THE VOTE).

BASED ON THE CURRENT VOTE MARGIN CITED BY MR. FOX OF 255 VOTES, UNLESS MR. FOX AND HIS TEAM WERE TO FIND EVIDENCE OF ABOUT THIRTY TIMES THE FRAUDULENT OR EVEN "IRREGULAR" BALLOTS AS HE HAS FOUND SO FAR, AND THERE WERE PROOF THAT THOSE VOTES HAD BEEN COUNTED IN THE TOTALS, THERE WOULD BE NO REASON TO CHANGE ANY ELECTION RESULT IN HIS ELECTION FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER --- AND FURTHERMORE, THERE WOULD BE LITTLE LIKELIHOOD THAT THE MATTER WOULD BE INVESTIGATED ANY FURTHER BY THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS OR ANYBODY ELSE USING PUBLIC FUNDS FOR THE INVESTIGATION.....

IF THE LAWYERS ON MR. FOX'S TEAM ARE REAL ELECTION LAWYERS, WE ARE SURE THAT THEY HAVE TOLD HIM THAT ALREADY, OR SOMETHING VERY CLOSE TO IT.....

All of these interviews and/or press conferences that Brian Fox gave/ held yesterday were nothing more than dog-and-pony-shows with insubstantial relevant information (except, perhaps, for the complete lack of any relevant information).

>>> However, there was one good question at one of the news conferences, this one by an ABC interviewer, that seemed at least as important as anything else being talked about --- it went something like this --- "We don't know that much about you, Mr. Fox, why is that ?" <<<

Justins problems dont need an election lawyer.

You'll get to no plenty about Mr Fox. Hes the next city councilman.

RESPONSE: THE "HOW LONG DO YOU 'THINK' THAT YOU'LL KEEP SAYING THAT ???" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 8:59 AM"

WE THINK WE KNOW WHY YOU SEEM TO HAVE SUCH A >>> NEED <<< TO SAY THAT "FOX IS THE NEXT CITY COUNCILMAN" --- BUT FOR HOW LONG DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT CAN GO ON ???

SOMETIME ON MONDAY, TUESDAY, OR WEDNESDAY IT WILL BECOME CLEAR THAT FOX IS OR IS NOT THE ELECTED MEMBER OF THE NYC COUNCIL FROM THE 43RD DISTRICT FOR THE ABBREVIATED TERM BEGINNING IN 2022.....

It is probably a stronger prediction that at the end of this week Brian Fox will >>> NOT <<< be the elected NYC Councilman from the 43rd Council District than that he will be. However, whether he is found to have been elected or not-elected during this coming week >>> he will never be the "next city councilman" ever again <<< It is really just as simple as that.

Enough people know enough about Fox, that all the rest will come out about him, whether he is elected or not. So, pretty much, he has no shelf-life, and is already passed his sell-by date.

But let's see how long and how hard the Fox folks keep talking about his being the next NYC Councilman --- it seems to be both their need and their passion, regardless of who Brian Fox really is or what he has really done.....

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "DOG THAT DIDN'T BARK" EDITION

EVEN THE NY POST THOUGHT IT WAS ODD.....

WHY DIDN'T DONALD TRUMP NAME NICOLE MALLIOTAKIS AS ONE OF THE RINO-REPUBLICANS AGAINST WHOM PRIMARIES SHOULD BE RUN IN 2022

IT IS AN INTERESTING LITTLE MYSTERY OF THE SORT >>> WHY THE DOG DIDN'T BARK <<< MADE FAMOUS IN FICTION AND IN REAL MURDER TRIALS

ANOTHER TROPE THAT IS ALSO INVOLVED >>> SUDDENLY, TRUMP IS BEING QUIET ABOUT NICOLE --- TOO QUIET !!!!!

Like everybody else, we are wondering, "What gives ???"

Justin Bro !!! We understand Bro that you are lined up to be speaker. Losing to Fox is just a hiccup.

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "LETTERS TO THE EDITOR" EDITION

TODAY'S NY POST LETTER WRITERS MUST ALSO BE READERS OF THIS INDEPENDENT GOP BLOG FOR BROOKLYN AND STATEN ISLAND --- AND/OR --- THEIR THINKING IS IN SINC WITH OURS.....

THEY PRETTY MUCH TAKE BOTH THE NY POST AND NICOLE MALLIOTAKIS TO TASK FOR HER SUPPORT OF THE SO-CALLED BIDEN-PELOSI "INFRASTRUCTURE BILL" --- AND THE POST'S SUPPORT OF NICOLE FOR THAT VOTE

All of the points about the bad deal infrastructure bill that we had made in our main post above and previously on this comments thread were echoed by today's NY Post letter writers jointly, and severally, and pretty much collectively in today's "Letters to the Editor."
