Anybody voting in the Brooklyn Republican Party Primary TOMORROW Should Read Ken Lovett's Feature In the New York Daily News TODAY

Massive Conservative Party threat to the GOP:  "THE CONSERVATIVE  PARTY COMEBACK OF  'CRAZY CARL PALADINO' —  AS THREATENED BY MIKE LONG EDITION"

Any genuine Republican, who has even the slightest hope of New York ever being one of those RED states on some election night in the future should be WHITE with rage after seeing what Mike Long, Chairman of the New York State Conservative Party, is thinking about, AND that it would certainly result in New York being forever a true BLUE Democrat bastion.

Basically, in today's Daily News, Kenneth Lovett reports that the “Controversial Buffalo Republican Carl Paladino may challenge Cuomo for governor again next year, on the Conservative Party line.  [And h]is candidacy may pave the way for the Conservative Party to challenge the GOP's status as the state's second largest party.” (See “Conservative Party open to 'Crazy Carl' Paladino running for governor in 2014” by Kenneth Lovett, 9/9/13, NY Daily News [http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/conservative-party-open-paladino-running-govenor-article-1.1449465]).

You judge whether Long and the Conservatives want to dominate the NYS Republican Party, blackmail them or just have their jollies threatening the GOP, when Long is reportedly putting it right out there, like this:  “Long, like Paladino, would prefer to team with the Republicans on a candidate to take on Cuomo, rather than split the field. But [Long] added: ‘I would not be opposed to having an independent candidate like Carl Paladino’ on the Conservative line. That would open the door, for the first time since 1990, to the Conservatives going it alone and threatening the GOP’s No. 2 status and the patronage that comes with it.”

I have repeatedly warned about what looks like the current Kings County Conservative Party's raid on the Brooklyn GOP led by its cat’s paw State Senator Martin Golden by means of his RINO acolytes and toadies running as the false-flagged  “Republicans for Change.” Any real thinking Republican should read the article mentioned and cited above in today’s NY Daily News to see that it all could very well be part of a bigger plan and bigger threat against the NYS Republican Party  —  a re-opened threat by the Conservatives to make the Republican Party one of the field of also ran “Third Parties” in New York State.

We know what we know; and we feel what we feel, but nobody else does in the same way or to the same extent.

Does it really matter anymore if the Conservatives or Republicans are the number 2 party in NY State? Both parties are a joke. The NY Senate Republicans are only in the majority because of a power sharing agreement with breakaway Democrats. How long is that going to last?

When I moved back to Brooklyn, I wanted to get involved. I checked the county party website and saw that Leon Nadrowski was still listed as my district leader. The problem is not only is he no longer living in Brooklyn, he's no longer living. Apparently, he died in Florida sometime ago. Repeated emails through the county party website as to who the district leader actually was went unanswered. I then reached out to a couple of "executives" of the Party through Facebook. I never got any real info on my district leader, but both of them offered for me to be on the county committee and we were supposed to meet. After several emails and phone messages to one of them trying to setup a meeting, nothing. Later, I get a generic email from the Party asking if I was still interested in being on the county committee and and that I would be placed on a slate of candidates. I replied and heard nothing back. A couple of weeks ago, I inquired as whether or not I was ever placed on the slate. I was surprised to get an immediate response that he would check and get back to me tomorrow. I'm still waiting. OK, I'm done venting.

Any "real thinking Republican" should be thinking of what red state to relocate to.

We'll count you as a "Maybe" in answer to the question, "Do you support the current GOP leadership in Brooklyn?" ....

BACKFILL: SECOND MIKE LONG THREAT AGAINST REPUBLICANS IN LESS THAN A YEAR

Earlier this year, back in April, Mike Long is reported to have strongly attacked a proposal raised by members of the NYS Senate Republican-IDC coalition, in part as follows: “If they do away with Wilson-Pakula, and do away fusion voting eventually, we would probably go out of business but we’re not going to go out of business right away.*** So, an awful lot of people are going to get hurt in the process because we’re going to run candidates up and down the state of New York on the Conservative Party line. We’ll run ‘em for governor, United States Senate, Assembly, Senate.... [T]hat’s exactly what we’ll do.” (See “Long: We’ll Go Down Without Wilson-Pakula, But We’ll Take You With Us” by Liz Benjamin, 4/12/13, YNN State of Politics [http://nystateofpolitics.com/2013/04/long-well-go-down-without-wilson-pakula-but-well-take-you-with-us/]). The threat was clearly directed at the Republican State Senators and other Republicans who might have been considering support for the election reform proposals advanced by IDC Leader Jeffrey Klein.
