What they don't know is that he is slipping fast in to that twi-light where we keep seeing President Biden going. --- With Golden it showed up recently (not like Biden on a trip to Ireland talking to a kid about "success" and "not getting COVID" --- but) at an Irish event in Bay Ridge and a photo-op with Ari Kagan.....
As we have reported here on this independent GOP blog for Brooklyn and Staten Island, Marty was tricked into doing the picture with Ari Kagan --- after several Brooklyn GOP executive members had warned him not to do it --- but by hook and/or crook, John Seravelli and John Quaglione convinced Marty to do it.....
That's understandable, the two John's had been tricking Marty into doing stuff for years while they were on his staff --- and now it's easier, because Marty isn't as sharp now as he was then (Wink, wink, nod !!!).....
But Marty Golden's real political slippage was shown a little while later when John Seravalli leveraged the photo-op into an endorsement by Golden --- and an outright lie by Golden >>> about Kagan and his support or non-support of the NYPD <<<

Mike Ragusa said, "Recent serious allegations have been made against me, which were quite shocking to our team as well, and have created an insurmountable barrier to continuing my campaign....Unfortunately I put my trust in a volunteer who took advantage and tried to sabotage my campaign....” According to a report in the Brooklyn Paper, "....According to Ragusa, he found out about the accusations on April 14 and believes the incident was a set up designed to damage his campaign. He said one of his volunteers turned in a page of forged signatures that were later turned into the Board of Elections...." And the Brooklyn Paper reporter quotd Ragusa as follows: "... Upon looking into it, we’ve narrowed down who got these signatures and it was a person sent from another Republican campaign.... When I picked it up from him, the signatures were there. They forged everything but I wasn’t responsible for checking the signatures. That’s what I pay people for....”
And Brian Fox has said, "Based on the allegations of felonious fraud committed by the campaign of Mike Ragusa, he has accepted an offer to end his campaign. Reliable sources have confirmed he has agreed to withdraw and signed documents that will officially remove his name from the ballot..."
Other reporting also indicated that there were forged signatures witnessed by a member of the Mike Ragusa team named Dino Diakoumakos that might have been gathered by somebody named "Maguire" --- and that somebody named "Maguire" is also likely to have been the "mystery man" that came over to the Ragusa campaign from another campaign.

Although this would not seem inflammatory, here is why it is incendiary --- rather than address any of the rightful criticisms of his latest campaign that appeared in the Daily News article >>> Vito La Bella chose to highlight that he was asked to run in a sell-out move by somebody widely known to have no bonafide connections to the Asian Community in the 43rd Council District, the illegally nominated and elected Assemblyman Lester Chang.
What Vito LaBella did not do was speak to the Daily News when they tried to reach him in advance of the article; nor did he address the Daily News reported facts: that he is running against a field of candidtates, Republican and Democrat, who are all Asian; that he was selected by Republican leaders and electeda most of whom were neither part of the 43rd Counsil District nor Asian; and that several Asian 43rd Council District community leaders, including prominent Asian Republicans, had specifically asked LaBella and Ghorra to withdraw LaBella's name as the substitute candidate.
Clearly, the Vito LaBella reunning in 2023 is the same racially divisive guy as ran in 2022
If lester chang was illegally nominated and elected than how is he in the state assembly?

According to the report in the NY News posted online a little while ago --- "A City Council candidate in southern Brooklyn has made her teaching career a cornerstone of her political identity.... On the campaign trail this year, the Republican Council hopeful, Anna Belfiore-Delfaus, has repeatedly described herself as a city public school teacher and spoken to the plight of working in classrooms during the pandemic. In a Feb. 6 tweet, she even claimed she for a time “couldn’t go back to work” because of her refusal to comply with the Education Department’s since-rescinded coronavirus vaccine mandate...."
It really doesn't get any better for her in the rest of the News article that will appear in tomorrow's print editions.
Ari Kagan can always be counted upon to say something snarky; and he certainly didn't disappoint this time about Anna --- "“Anyone who runs for political office should expect the public to know the truth about their work. ... Avery posted on facebook a public endorsement by Eaton. I guess GM not talking to Eaton or Eaton lying to GM ??
I hear Giuliani and Capano will be endorsing someone else in the race now that Ragusa is out..stay tuned!
