It has been well said elsewhere in reference data bases and other published material that Ari Kagan, the 2023 Republican City Council Candidate in the 47th Council District, is really Arkady Kagan a former member of the USSR State Security apparatus

In the words of the martyred and beloved Republican Senator Joseph McCarthy, harrassed into an early grave by scoundrels in the GOP administration of D. D. Eisenhower and his/their masters in the deep state  ---    And also in the words of many other great Republicans who stood up along with Joe McCarthy against an earlier attempt by the Communists to take over the USA from within the govenment itself  ---

Mr. Kagan: 

Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party ?"

As a followup, Mr. Kagan: 

"Were you ever known by the name Arkady Kagan; and did you serve in the Security Services of the Soviet Union in various "Republics" of the USSR ???

As a second followup, Mr Kagan:

After the dissolution of the USSR, did you continue your relationship with the Security Services of the FSU through their successor organizations in the Russian Federation,** or other entities existing throughout the FSU ?????

And as a final followup, Mr, Kagan:

Are you now functioning in the USA as a deep-cover operative pursuant to the 2006 "Counteracting Terrorism" law passed by the Duma  ---  to combat what Vladmir Putin and other more clandestine operators of the Russian Federation** and/or or other FSU State Security Forces refer to as "terrorists abroad"  ---  even with an eye toward possible "mokroye delo"* if necessary ???????

The answer to the first two questions would certainly have to be   >>> "YES !!!" 

THAT'S BECAUSE ARI KAGAN HAS ALREADY TALKED ABOUT IT  ---   AND  ---  ADMITTED TO BOTH 

The answers to the last two questions have never been given by Ari ("ARKADY") Kagan  ---  to our knowlege, they have never been addressed by him in public in any way  ---  that's because he has never been asked those questions publically until now

In a comment posted on a comments thread to an earlier featured post on this blog, it was stated that:  "....   Why isn't anybody looking into Ari Kagan (the same person as Arkady Kagan the professionally trained military-security operative in Belarus and other places in the FSU, like "The Ukraine" and Latvia) and his possible work as a wolf in sheep's clothing FSU emigre operative for the FSU Security-Intelligence services (successors to the KGB-GRU-NKVD, etc.**) in and among the emigre community in Brooklyn and the rest of NYC. Kagan's educational background at the Soviet state run Leningrad Suvorov School and later at the Lvov Military Political College fit a profile of under cover Soviet operatives coming into the USA late in the 20th Century under the guise of political refugees that surged into America at that time.... Very telling is Ari Kagan's own admission during an interview that he was a longtime member of the Communist Party as it then existed in the Soviet Union and "I was not a dissident..." until "... I gradually became disillusioned with the Soviet-Communist ideology...."  In that comment, it was also specifically noted that none of Ari Kagan's disillusionment happened until after the fall of the old hardline regime in the Communist Soviet Union; and there is no evidence that he was ever a dissident at any time during the Soviet regime, as a Soviet government paid journalist or otherwise.

This man has been a longtime leader in the Democrat Party, and is an incumbent NYC elected official, who is now seeking the line and the endorsement of the Republican Party.  Given all that, it seems incredible that nobody has followed up with proper vetting and the necessary questions about what Ari or Arkady Kagan actually did while he was an active Communist in the Soviet Security aparatus  ---  and whether he has any lingering or "sleeper" obligations to his former masters, who still hold significant sway throughout the Russian Federation, other parts of the FSU, and even the rest of the world.

*For background only and with no specific application or reference to any individual  ---  The Russian term "mokroye delo" means assassinations or "wet affairs," called “wetwork” in the West. During Putin’s regime, wetwork has been embraced to an extent not seen since Stalin’s days, over four decades before, and continuing throughout Putin's days.. In the past, those mokroye delo operations were reported to have been handled by the KGB Spetsbureau 13, colorfully known as the "Otdel mokrykh del" or  "Department of wet affairs."  The KGB has used mokroye delo for many targetted foreign assassinations.  For its part, the NKVD used the terms mokroye delo (wet work, or wet affair) and chornaya rabota (black work) to describe executions and assassinations.
