Donald Trump's legal team expects that the Manhattan judge assigned to his case will attempt to put a gag order on the leading 2024 canditdate for Presidency of the United States --- while a phony Rube Goldberg legal theory criminal case slowly unfolds, and awaits a trial that will probably never come.
A source close to Trump's legal team told reporters that the judge hand-pcked by Bragg will take an “unprecedented step” to try to silence the 2024 Republican presidential candidate. The gag order could potentially undercut Trump, the most likely GOP nominee, in his ability to campaign on >>> the issue of legal corruption and the weaponization of law enforcement on the state, federal and local level against the American people <<< during his upcoming campaign for the presidency.
Indications are that Trump will be adding a First Amendment lawyer to his legal team in an effort to combat this; and the legal eagles immediately will start the fight to bring the gag order and the rest of Bragg's case all the way to the U.S. Suprem Court if necessary before it gets very much further along.

Throughout the election cycle in 2022 and into 2023, Republicans in the Congress and those that had run for congress in 2022 had denounced the actions of leftist local prosecutors who freed violent felons, or a variety of prosecutors who investigated political enemies like Donald Trump. Now, several of those in the Congress have started to rally around a proposal that could inflict significant pain and punishment upon Woke-style DAs like Alvin Bragg.
Georgia Congressman Austin Scott says that congressional Republicans are looking into and strongly considering turning the tables on the woke-ish progressives, who during recent years have tried to eliminate the qualified immunity that protected police officers from lawsuits. Last Friday Congressman Scott said this: ".... I think you're going to have to look at prosecutorial misconduct, and whether or not prosecutors in this country should be exempt from liability...."
Scott says that several Republicans in Congress are privately discussing borrowing a page from the woke-progresive playbook from recent years when so many Democrats have said that they wanted to end qualified immunity for police officers since the death of George Floyd at the hands of police. According to Congressman Scott, ".... These left-wing, liberal prosecutors and George Soros prosecutors want to take away immunity from police officers, yet they want to maintain it for themselves.... I guarantee you if this prosecutor Bragg did not have immunity for his actions, he would not have filed this indictment against Donald Trump.... So maybe we need to be looking at how a prosecutor who abuses his power the way this Manhattan district attorney has done becomes personally liable and potentially criminally chargeable for their actions...."
Bragg is left wing but he is not a liberal. Those terms are often lumped together but you can't be both.
