OMG !!! ON FOX NEWS DID NICOLE JUST SAY "...SHAME ON THE PEOPLE..." IF SHE DOESN'T GET RE-ELECTED

If that isn't exactly what Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis might have just said in a live TV interview, it certainly was what she clearly meant by what she did say.....

One thing is for sure  ---  she did say  ---  "... Shame on the People..." if the Republicans don't win after the next election

It was pretty much the final thing that she said in her in-studio/on-air interview by Fox's Sandra Smith, a little after 2:00 PM on the Fox News "America Reports" program

At very least the Malliotakis Conressional Staff and/or her campaign handlers need to do a very quick "cleanup on aisle three" on this one.

ANYTHING CLOSE TO  "...SHAME ON THE PEOPLE..."  JUST ISN'T A VERY GOOD LOOK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Meanwhile the local Verrazano Republicans are doubling down in their support of three time failed mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa. I'm not sure who's advising these boys but they need a course correction and quick!

Gail, I don't think what Nicole said seems so bad. After all, she didn't say that the people were 'incorrigible.'

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "...AND NOW THIS..." EDITION

MORE MAKE-BELIEVE POOR PERFORMANCE BY KARIM ELSAMMAK ON HIS "PROMISE" TO PROVIDE UP-TO-DATE WEEKLY CRIME STATS AND A MONTHLY SUMMARY ANALYSIS OF THOSE NUMBERS.....

YET AGAIN >>> HE'S MORE THAN A DAY LATE & MUCH MORE THAN A POUND SHORT

Here's the latest from "Captain" Karim:
"Karim4NY... [April 10th], 4:04 PM... Weekly crime stats per Compstat. #repealbailreform #Bensonhurst #dykerheights #bayridge #brooklyn #nyc #karim4ny [with CompStat statistics for 3/28/2022 through 4/3/2022]...."

For those keeping score, that's a week late on the weekly CompStat numbers; and there has been no monthly summary analysis of the CompStat crime statistics since Karim Elsammak promised that he would give us one back on March 10th.....

As Karim Elsammak has said --- "The real numbers don't lie...."

RESPONSE: THE "THIS IS NOT A NEWS BLOG" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... 9:50 AM" & EVERYBODY ELSE

ANY ONGOING NEWS STORIES ANY PLACE --- INCLUDING IN BROOKLYN OR STATEN ISLAND --- ARE EXACTLY THAT >>> ONGOING

This is a bright shiny thing for folks like Brian Fox, who is the real "Karen" in all of this. As usual, his feckless "reports" on social media about stuff like this morning's events in the 4 & 5th Avenue corridor of South Brooklyn & Sunset Park are superficial, opportunistic, and hasty.

BTW, his posts have added nothing to all or any of this --- and, to be expected, what little he has posted, already contains substantial errors.....

FLASH NEWS UPDATE: THE "SINCE, WE ARE A POLITICAL BLOG..." EDITION

GOVERNOR HOCHUL APPEARED AT THE BROOKLYN SUBWAY SHOOTING PRESS CONFERENCE --- KATHY KOCHUL IS ABSOLUTELY NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME.....

SHE WAS ASKED ABOUT HER JUST-ARRESTED-TODAY LT. GOVERNOR, AND SAID THAT THIS ISN'T THE TIME TO DISCUSS THAT

The guv didn't have a single item of substance to add to this noontime presser on 4th Avenue in Brooklyn, and she had to expect that there might be a question about the arrest of Lieutenant Governor Brian Benjamin for campaign finance fraud. Why in the world was she there and on camera ???

Never again should we hear from any politician telling everybody 'Never Again !' or this, that, or the other 'has got to stop' when everybody knows that it won't be 'never again' or going to stop because of anything that they say.

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "FECKLESS FOXY LOXY REPORT --- SO FAR, NO REAL DETAILS OR USEFUL INFORMATION FROM BRIAN FOX" EDITION

BRIAN FOX THINKS THAT DRIVE-BY REPORTING IS THE BEST WAY TO PITCH BAD NEWS (LIKE MASS SHOOTING EVENTS) >>> EVEN IF IT IS WITHIN THE NORMAL FUNCTIONAL LIVING SPACE OF WHAT HE CALLS HIS "CONSTITUENTS"

("N" & "R" Trains & the Fourth Avenue line 36th Street Station --- You can't be more functionally involved with the 43rd Council District than that).

Fox's so-called news was never accurate --- and by now, it's also very "out-of-date."

AS AND FOR A FURTHER UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "COMPARISON TO STATE SENATOR ANDREW GOUNARDES" EDITION

SO FAR, WE HAVE SEEN HOW BRIAN FOX APPROACHED THIS TRAGEDY & AND THE ONGOING MANHUNT FOR THE PERP OR PERPS.....

HERE'S WHAT "CAPTAIN" KARIM ELSAMMAK HAS HAD TO CONTRIBUTE THUS FAR >>> N-O-T-H-I-N-G

COMPARED TO BRIAN FOX --- THAT'S PROBABLY A GOOD THING.....

BUT COMPARED TO HIS PROSPECTIVE OPPONENT, STATE SENATOR ANDREW GOUNARDES --- IT MIGHT REALLY BE, WELL, PATHETIC.....

Here's what Gounardes has posted:

"State Senator Andrew Gounardes... [April 12, 2022, @1:30 PM]... I am on the scene at 36th St; here’s what we know:
- 16 injured
- 10/16 were shot; other injuries from smoke, panic @ scene
- 5 of the injured are in critical but stable condition
- no explosive devices were detonated
- shooter opened fire on a Manhattan-bound N train.

The search is continuing for the person responsible. If you have any information, please contact 800-577-TIPS. In the meantime, please use caution and stay safe away from the area. If you are in NYC looking for a loved one who was in the area, call 311.

I want to take a moment to thank our heroic first responders. Thank you FDNY NYPD MTA NYC Emergency Management & many more. This morning we saw how destructive one person can be but we also saw how New Yorkers come together in moments of crisis to keep each other safe....+

Brian Fox was rushed to the hospital today. Bad news gave him a priapism.

I heard the NYPD had call in the teenage pilot to help fly a helicopter over Sunset Park today. Vito Labella spent the day in line at Tasty Pastry

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "PRIAPIC BRIAN FOX" EDITION

INSTEAD OF CORRECTING AND UPDATING HIS ERRONEOUS AND MISLEADING POSTS ABOUT THE SHOOTINGS ON THE "N" TRAIN THIS MORNING --- OR DOING ANY RESPONSIBLE FOLLOW-UP WHATSOEVER TO HIS DRIVEBY REPORTING, AS IF ALL LOCAL BAD NEWS IS OF EQUAL VALUE, BRIAN FOX DECIDED THAT HE NEEDED SOME QUALITY TIME NURSING HIS FAVORITE TOY --- HIS WOODY --- BACK TO OUTSTANDING AND UPSTANDING HEALTH.....

... AND NOTHING GIVES THE SQUAT BALD-AS-A-BILLIARD-BALL BROOKLYN REPUBLICAN GUY AN UPSTANDING WOODY LIKE BEING INTRODUCED BY FRAN VELLA-MARRONE AT HER LOCAL PRIVATE MAUSOLEUM BURIAL SOCIETY >>> AKA THE DYKER HEIGHTS CIVIC ASSOCIATION

WHAT GETS FOX EVEN CLOSER TO CRESCENDO IS GETTING SEVERAL "LIKES" FOR BEING ABLE TO SNIFF FRAN'S HAIR, AND SHARING THOSE SNIFFS WITH HIS PERSONNAL ENTOURAGE OF "FILTH".....

About an hour ago this is how Brian Fox described it all on his Meta-FB campaign page:
"Brian Fox for City Council... [April 12, @10:55 PM]... Tonight I had the pleasure to attend the Dyker Heights Civic Association meeting for the month of April. It was great to see the members of the Association and many neighbors around the community. Thank you so much to the President of the Association Frances Vella-Marrone for hosting a wonderful and productive meeting. Lastly thank to the NYPD 68th Precinct for allowing a officer to come to listen and address the concerns of many members of our community...."

And here are the members of Brian Fox's personal "filth" detail that said they liked it: Mickey Wedlock; Georgette Prato Cosmas; John F. Manning; Michael Scapelito; Maureen Spencer; Stella Martinez; and Mike Doyle.....

Great job, Fran & Brian !!! Except that taking necessary NYPD manpower away from tracking down the 36th Street subway shooter is not really '... address[ing] the [real} concerns of [most] members of our community...'.
