But, there might be less here than meets the eye. After all, didn't good old BF make the same kinds of noises this time last year ???????

There is something going on here that don't make any sense, or it means that Brian Fox is kicking off his 2022 campaign with the same kind of gaffs and mistakes as he did during 2021.
On 2/21, on the same day that it happens, the Verrazzano Reps report that they had a meeting at Schnitzel Haus with pictures showing fewer than eighteen people showed up, and not a single snapshot of Brian Fox being there. On 2/22, on the same day that it happens, the Verrazzano Reps cover a Staten Island event for Sam Pirozzolo attended by Marty Golden with video of that gathering. On 2/23 Brian Fox, the boss of the Verrazzano Reps, announces his run for the NYS Assembly in the 46th AD in Brooklyn, but there isn't a peep from the Verrazano Reps about it by the late morning of 2/24, more than thirteen hours later.
Did Brian Fox catch his own so-called Verrazzano Republican Club by surprise? Or can't he and his team walk and chew gum at the same time?
As per usual, Liam McCabe's fingerprints are all over this mess just like in 2021.
Don't forget that Liam ran Brian's 2021 campaign against Justin. Brian lost by less than a whisker, but there was plenty of money left over at the end of the campaign, which should have been used in and for that campaign. One thing really stands out, there was a very poor effort at getting out the GOP mail-in vote, and an equally bad job of policing the large quantity and low quality of mail-in votes cast by the Dems.
Capano got 44% of the vote running for this assembly district in 2008. Will he do it again with the current GOP atmosphere and John Cats behind him?????????

WE PROBABLY AGREE THAT JUST ANY OTHER CITIZEN BRIAN FOX'S POMPOUS, PRESUMPTUOUS AND BUMPTIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT IS QUITE LAUGHABLE --- HOWEVER, IT ISN'T QUITE CLEAR WHY YOU ARE PARTICULARLY LAUGHING OUT LOUD AT THE PHRASE, WHICH YOU QUOTED IN YOUR COMMENT ABOVE.....
After all, that particular segment of Mr. Fox's big news is merely another example of his routine abuse of proper syntax and standard English usage --- so there is nothing so new and unusual in that, which might rise to the level of risibility. However, the substantive cause to the tickle to your funny bone might be something more subjective, subtle and necessarily discreet, which is why you didn't say more in your comment.
... or it all might be funnier than what we here at this humble independent GOP blog think that it might be.....
Fox and McCabe together lost once in Bay Ridge, now they want to run against Frontus in a tougher district to win. That's a really great plan, even by Liam's standards.
