Brian Fox is a hack's hack --- that's what he's been for over a year now --- and his social media shows that's all that he wants to be... but maybe, with a bit of "Nightmare Alley" thrown into it.....

Fox has shown us that he can bring something special to his aspirational hack-dom

For well over a month now, Brian Fox's Facebook postings and Tweets have been re-posts and/or re-Tweets of much of the  police and fire unions' PR stuff  ---  usually the items flogging the corpses of dead cops and firemen  ---  Fox's Facebook posting yesterday was typical.....

Let's call a spade a spade  >>>  Fox is a born grifter and conman.  >>>  So, it's natural for him to seek the aid and comfort of, and alliances with, other grifters and conmen  ---  in particular, the reps for and leaders of the illegal "unions" for NYC cops and firemen

However, "Grifters" and "Conmen" are only part of the descriptions that apply to the likes of the representatives and leaders of the cops' and firemen's unions  >>>  don't overlook the fact that they are also talentless "HACKS" and parasites on society and the body politic.....

So, what does that make Brian Fox ???   Well, it sure looks like he is  ASPIRING  to be a "HACKS' HACK"   ---   however  ---  Fox's past antics show that he also brings something very special to the table  >>>  Brian Fox is willing to be a GEEK.....

[[[  NO !!!  Not a nerdlike "geek" like on "Big Bang Theory".....   Brian Fox aspires to be the up-front featured carnival midway kind of "geek" like in the 1947 & 2021 movies called "Nightmare Alley"]]]

Needles to say, Brian Fox is no Tyrone Power or Bradley Cooper  ---  but Fox does have a few of the traits of the movies' conman-grifter "Stan Carlisle" (he certainly doesn't exhibit any of the craftiness, or the ability to do the mental heavy lifting for the mind tricks that the Bradley Cooper and Tyrone Power protrayals demonstrated).  Both Fox and the main character in both of the movies have a sordid and criminal past, but more than anything else, Fox shares the carney performer "Stanton Carlisle's" willingness to do anything to fit into his successive environments  ---  often accompanied by the line,  "I was made for this...."

As with so many complicated story lines for cautionary tales like "Nightmare Alley"  ---  Stan Carlisle's whole scheme came crashing down around him. In the end, the focal character is left trying to catch on with what's left of the carnival;  and when he's offered a chance to "temporarily play the geek"  ---  the Tyrone Power, Bradley Cooper, Brian Fox character answers  >>>  "I was made for this."

So, now, when it comes to his stepping-up to be a hacks' hack and a carnival show geek, BRIAN FOX CAN TRULY SAY   >>>   "I WAS MADE FOR THIS....."

Kassar told Fox to stand down otherwise he becomes irrelevant like Bob. Others on this blog already learned that the hard way.

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 3:03 PM"

WHY DON'T YOU JUST SAY IT ???

OH !!! AND AS A FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: WHO MIGHT THE "OTHERS ON THIS BLOG [THAT] ALREADY LEARNED THAT [THEY HAD BECOME IRRELEVANT] THE HARD WAY" BE ?????

We suspect that you live in an alternative reality >>> where Jerry Kassar and some of those folks buzzing around him like flies are relevant.

Take a look at Bob. If you have the stumach.

Brian Fox thinks Paul DiGiacimoco's dentures will deliver him a win in the next election

By chance did anybody attend the "Coffee Klatch with Brian Fox" at the Offshore Diner last week? It was advertised as "an opportunity" to speak with former city council candidate and "soon to be active political candidate" Brian Fox. The invite promised "coffee, tea and/some dessert over great conversation and great company!" The invitation also promised an "amazing opportunity to learn more about Brian Fox, his platform and to learn more about local issues in the community." But I don't see any photographic evidence that this event even took place. Maybe it was canceled due to lack of interest?

Whether you like it or not there are 2 bosses in this town: Jerry Kassar and Justin Brannan. Nothing happens in either party without there blessing.

Anonymous said...

How can a statement about two people and two political parties be so fundamentally, and fun dementedly wrong in so many ways?

Anonymous said...

The real Republican geek in all this is Liam McCabe.
He's been doing outlandish and outrageous things to gain attention for years. More important, after years of similar behaviors in election cycle after election cycle, it is obvious that his serious addictive dependency on alcohol, and complete reliance on bar room culture keeps him from ever acheiving anything.

Anonymous said...

It pains me to admit to it but 12:17 is right. Take a look around, whether you all like it or not, there are 2 big bosses in this town, Kassar and Brannan and very little happens in either party without there blessing

4:37 sounds like she would make a great nanny.

Anonymous said...

4:37 AM it will be interesting to see if Liam tries to run Alex Brooks-Krasny's campaign since he won't be able to siphon funds off Brian Fox this year

Bob works for a billionaire, is a professor, close to the next governor Andrew Giuliani, not too shabby

Anonymous said...

The doorman at the plaza hotel works for a billionaire. The dishwashers too.

1001, you and a lot of Liam's other supporters have probably heard him say, 'Hi, my name is Liam...' more times than you can count. And probably all of you whined about being big babies and needing your bottles for your whole life so far... But do you know what doesn't work as part of anybody's recovery, holding political meetings in bars, and starting 'save our businesses groups,' when the only businesses that you ever interact with are bars. And Liam's full-circle part, bringing his baby with him into bars, and doing his bottle thing with the kiddo during his political meetings.

1039, most of the Plaza's doormen and dishwashers don't have offices down the hall from whoever owns the Plaza, or have real gigs on their own-hosted segments on political radio talk shows, on a radio station run by the man who owns the Plaza, or regularly appear as a guests and or do real interviews across the full gamut of Murdoch's media, but mostly on Fox News because of all the politically relevant stuff that they have done without the political blessings of either Kassar or Brannan.

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "BIGGEST BADDEST TINGLER" EDITION

FOX IS OUT AS A "CLICK" TINGLER --- AND NOW IT'S BROOK-KRASNY TAPPIN' SOME O' DAT ON-LINE TINGLE DANG COMIN' FROM DAT PENT-UP PUCKERED STARFISH, WHO'S STILL POUNDIN' HER OWN ON-LINE KEYS MOST O' DUH TIME

Has anybody noticed that the "Queen of the Click" used to get all juicy-drawers for Brian Fox, with more than a dozen mentions of the bearded and swarthy no-neck master of the tangled-tongue malaprop in 2021, even giving him some after Fox blew the last election. But nowadays >>> nothing !!!!!

That's all since QOTC got her click tingled ever so gently by the so-called former Dem Alec Brook-Krasny a few weeks ago.

Fox must be crushed that he ain't gettin' any more b-donka-donk, bloggy or otherwise, from one of his most reliable badonkapusses, bloggy or other wise.

If Fox had really been around, he would have known that Alec Brook-Krasny is the biggest click tingler since Vincent Price tingled everybody back in the Fifties. When it comes to click tingling ever so gently >>> it really does help to have a neck more than a beard and a tangled tongue.....

Nowhere do I see the outrage at the unprecedented move in the Sarah Palin case by Judge Jed Jackoff. He announces the result while a jury deliberates.

Anonymous said...

The only thing Nick appears on is some sports podcast with some guy from staten island.

Anonymous said...

1219, not even Fox News would touch that with a ten foot pole.

When you said unprecedented, do you know what you are talking about?

Judge Rakoff did what any other competent Federal Judge would have done at the close of Palin's case --- it allowed for a completed trail, and also properly dismissed the case as a matter of law for failure to make out a cause of action for libel under existing Federal Law and the Constitutional safeguards for newspapers.

It was only the timing of his announcement of his ruling that was somewhat unusual, but it was probably not in any way improper.

"Queen of the Click" is an imaginary, very large and grotesques creature in traditional Scandinavian stories that has magical powers and lives in a cave. They are also known to steal children.

Bob and Justin spend all day on this blog. Clearly a sign of successful careers.

Good move by Kassar to pick Krasny over Fox.

Justin is Queen of the click?

RESPONSE: THE "TEN FOOT POLE" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 1:15 PM"

LAST NIGHT ON TREY GOWDY'S "SUNDAY NIGHT IN AMERICA" PROGRAM FOR FOX NEWS --- BOTH HE AND ANDREW MC CARTHY DISCUSSED WHAT HAD HAPPENED IN THE SARAH PALIN CASE AGAINST THE NEW YORK TIMES --- AND THEY EVEN FOCUSED ON THE ANNOUNCEMENT BY JUDGE RAKOFF THAT HE WAS DISMISSING THE CASE >>> WHILE THE JURY WAS DELIBERATING, UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES WHEREIN THEY COULD VERY LIKELY HEAR ABOUT HIS RULING PRIOR TO RENDERING THEIR VERDICT

They said that neither of them, either Gowdy or McCarthy, had ever seen, or even heard of, a judge ever doing anything like that before. Nonetheless, neither Gowdy nor McCarthy incdicated that Sarah Palin's legal team would be likely to succeed in any appeal of her now lost cause against the New York Times for its "libelously" having linked her to the mass shooting surrounding the wounding of Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, which linkage to Sarah Palin, the Times quickly had acknowledged was a mistake on its part.

Nick Chambers spends all day on this blog. Clearly a sign of a successful career selling cell phones.

Why is everybody caught up on the personalities in and around the Brooklyn GOP?
The problem is organizational.
There isn't any kind of real county organization, and there isn't even one solid and effective Republican club left anywhere in Brooklyn.

Anonymous said...

Not fair to compare Bob to doormen and dishwashers at the Plaza. They talk with their billionaire boss more than Bob does. Also if any doorman or dishwasher at the Plaza ran for office three or four times they would definitely get more than the .08% that Bob did.

Anonymous said...

People in the Brooklyn GOP have personalities?

Anonymous said...

We love you Chairman, Professor, Business Executive, and top aide to our next gop governor Andrew Giuliani.

Nick Chamberas gave me a great deal on a new cell phone case. Threw in a car charger as well for free! Thanks Nick !!

Who cares about this click queen?

Brian Fox has been very quiet ever since Alex Brook-Krasny ended his career

The moment I heard Putin invaded Ukraine I thought it was over reported. It was only a few years ago that Putin invaded Georgia and hardly a word. Stacy Abrams never once even referred to it.

We all know Justin uses this blog to collect dirt on his imagined enemies or share information with his perceived allies in the GOP. Some posts he publishes others deletes and then runs to snitch.

The only advice Bob is giving to any Giuliani is paper or plastic? Just sayin’

Brian Fox is such a big-time booster of our local small mom n pop businesses that every Wednesday he goes to Kettle Black for discount wings night and eats his weight and never leaves a tip. Fox doesn't to Kettle Black except for Wednesday discount 65 cent wing night. What a great guy !!! Paying full price is for suckers!
