Calling Romney's debate performance full of "Lies" - "Lying" and "Dishonesty" is straight from Alinsky's Chicago-Style Play Book

In a page straight out of Saul Alinsky’s play-book, since the debate victory by Romney, the words: “Dishonest”; “Lies” and “Lying” have been repeated loud and often by Obama’s campaign and its allies in the media.

For several days now, last week’s debate winner, Mitt Romney repeatedly is being attacked as a “liar” by Team Obama and the rest of the left wing crowd because he didn’t fit their strawman image; and Romney’s successful arguments and debate points are all being called  “lies” because Romney didn’t happily parrot the Obama Campaign’s false characterizations of the Romney positions. One wonders why so many of the Sixty-seven million debate viewers did not notice any of Romney’s so-called “lies” - “lying” - and “dishonesty” either at the time of the debate or on their own in the days since the debate.

The Obama campaign and its media mavens have doubled down and gone all-in on their latest strategic gambit  —  “‘The Big Lie’ – jiu-jitsu” —  that’s their version of a convicted criminal’s madly screaming at the top of his lungs, “Lies, lies!  It’s all lies!” after the jury has returned its guilty verdict.

The beat goes on la-di-da-di-da. From the Sunday morning network talk shows through Monday night’s MSNBC programs, the Obamamaniac spokespersons from the campaign and  commentators covering the campaign for the in-the-tank-for-Obama media have been beating out a simple rhythm on their war-drums and tocsins. What follows are just a couple of typical recent examples.

Shortly after Mitt Romney’s excellent foreign policy speech at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) earlier Monday, Fred Kaplan posted this piece, “Mitt Romney’s Most Dishonest Speech –  When it comes to lies and half-truths, Romney saves his best stuff for foreign policy.” on “Slate” dated October 8th, 2012.

Of course, most of the chatter of the nattering nay-sayers was still all about last week’s debate performance by Mitt Romney. A perfect example of that was Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter's appearing on Chris Matthews’ MSNBC “Hardball...” early on the evening of October 8, 2012.  Chris Matthews’ opening segment included Mayor Nutter, who was introduced by Matthews as a “presidential surrogate in this tough campaign.”  This Nutter opened by describing Presidential candidate Mitt Romney as somebody who “was just lyin’, denyin’ and alibi-in’”  This followed an unbelievable litany of purported Romney “denials” of his various positions, as recounted by Chris Matthews.  Later in the interview, also when prompted by Matthews, Mayor Nutter slammed  the Republican Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates with this, “It’s pretty clear ... Mitt Romney is a shameless lying chameleon... the same is true with his running mate Paul Ryan...”.

This is all Saul Alinsky stuff that is more “Chicago-style” than deep dish pizza. This is the latest update of the old hard core communist tactic of denying any validity to all contrary arguments and factual rebuttals of party dogma and doctrine, simply by referring to all of it as counter-revolutionary propaganda and lies.
