A White House Scandal has a name: “BENGHAZI-GATE” along with a “TIMELINE OF GOVERNMENT DECEIT, DECEPTION, AND OUTRIGHT LIES”

Breitbart News comes out with Charge that White House and State Department Lied to the American Public in an extensive report that tells  — “What they knew and when they knew it”

In a lengthy report that appeared in the Breitbart News on September 29th,  John Nolte laid out a full time-line of the facts, along with a compelling catalogue of lies and deceits by the highest levels of the Obama Administration. These included mendacious statements and outright falsehoods by the President, himself, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice.

According to Mr. Nolte’s report, it all reached a new level last Friday afternoon. In an obvious attempt to rescue President Obama from what could have been a brutal round of Sunday shows examining the cover up in which the White House is currently engaged, with respect to the attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) released a statement revising its assessment of the attack. According to that assessment, it’s now the official position of the American intelligence community that what happened in Benghazi was a pre-planned terrorist attack. The statement came from Shawn Turner, director of public affairs for the Office of National Intelligence, the office that speaks for the intelligence community as a whole.

For the most part that statement did not contain anything new. Late last week, the White House and State Department both made statements saying exactly the same thing. However, one part of the ODNI statement was particularly newsworthy and it deserves particular attention; it’s the part that states the following:

“In the immediate aftermath [of the attack on the Benghazi Consulate], there was information that led us to assess that the attack began spontaneously following protests earlier that day at our embassy in Cairo. We provided that initial assessment to Executive Branch officials and members of Congress, who used that information to discuss the attack publicly and provide updates as they became available. Throughout our investigation we continued to emphasize that information gathered was preliminary and evolving.”

According to Breitbart News reporter John Nolte, what we have here is the Director of National Intelligence, Obama appointee James Clapper, falling on his sword in an attempt to put an end to the drumbeat of scandal coming mostly from Republicans [now with some demands for information coming from key Democrats] and right-of-center media. What has been exposed so far, just weeks before a presidential election, is that in the aftermath of the 9/11 Benghazi attack with the killing of the U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans, the White House and State Department knowingly misled and lied to the American people about what they knew and when they knew it.

UPDATE: in the Breitbart News 10-1-12,  ___ AM  —  “BENGHAZI-GATE: U.S. SECURITY REMAINED LAX EVEN AS THREATS CHASED WESTERNERS OUT” —  John Nolte says: “If you want to look for a motive behind the White House deceiving, and in some instances, outright lying about what really happened in Libya on the eleventh anniversary  of 9/11, look no further than this...”

BACKGROUND: The term “Benghazi-Gate” had been widely used in the media, particularly those associated with Fox News, prior to the posting on Breitbart News on September 29, 2012. For example, Bret Baier and Catherine Herridge quoted  Senator Bob Corker using the term in their September 27, 2012 report “Lawmakers 'suspicious' administration 'trying to hide' Libya attack details”; also on Sept 27th Romney spokesman John Sununu used the word “Benghazi-gate in an interview with Greta Van Susteren; also Geraldo Rivera of Fox News was using it as early as his appearance on “Fox and Friends”; at about the same former Governor Mike Huckabee, also of Fox News made a direct comparison of the Benghazi coverups with Watergate, with a report of that video on September 28, 2012 at //...thehopeforamerica.com/play.php?id=13159...// was entitled “Huckabee Suggests That Benghazi-Gate Is Worse Than Watergate”; and on 9/27/12 there was post on “The Blaze” by Jason Howerton entitled “‘BENGHAZI-GATE’: LAWMAKERS DEMAND ANSWERS AS OBAMA ADMINISTRATION’S INCONSISTENT LIBYA STORY FALLS APART” .
