What is Conservative Party spoiler Vito LaBella talking about now ???

Whether he is a Republican or Conservative, or an honorary member of any crypto-racist Aryanist movement  ---  Vito LaBella abuses the bully pulpit more than any other candidate with arcane and inane nonsense about our schools that is his version of virtue signalling

Here's his latest: on Facebook: 

"Vito LaBella...  Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 11:32 AM...  AM Bichotte would like to change the admissions criteria for these [specialty high] schools because the SHSAT exam prevents the DOE from social engineering which kids are admitted. The AM should call for the creation and expansion of screened high schools and programs that offer substantially comparable experiences to the Specialized High Schools. The DOE can populate those schools anyway they like...."

Let's start by asking Vito  >>>  who or what is an "AM Bichotte" ???  

But on a less formal but more substantive note, this part of Vito LaBella's statement is an absolute lie  >>>  "... the SHSAT exam prevents the DOE from social engineering which kids are admitted [to specialized high schools]...."  LaBella should know that the DOE socially engineers across the whole spectrum of educational endevours at every grade from pre-K through 12....  The "SHSAT" is only an admissions test that locks into place that which the DOE has already socially engineered up to that point. And at the specialized high schools more DOE social engineering goes on, and Vito LaBella should know about that too.

And then there's what Vito LaBella would call his solution:   "...  The AM should call for the creation and expansion of screened high schools and programs that offer substantially comparable experiences to the Specialized High Schools. The DOE can populate those schools anyway they like...."

One hesitates to attribute any real meaning to Mr. LaBella's pied prolixity;  however, it appears that he wants whoever this "AM" might be to stop advocating for eliminating the SHSAT, and instead advocate for "...  the creation and expansion..." of something Vito calls "...  screened high schools and programs that offer substantially comparable experiences to the Specialized High Schools...."   In other words, Vito wants the rest of us to spend lots more money to create SEPARATE BUT EQUAL screaned high schools and programs that would be the equivalent to the existing specialized high schools, which could remain segregated. Not only would that be horribly expensive and an expansive grant of power to the DOE, it would never pass constitutional muster even by our current relatively conservative SCOTUS.

And this Vito LaBella guy is what Jerry Kassar and Fran call a Conservative alternative to the Democrat and Republican candidates running in the 43rd City Council District. ???!!!???!!!
