According to a Reuters featured article, an unsuccessful Republican state legislative candidate in New Mexico was arrested yesterday; and he has been accused of planning and facilitating several recent shootings at four local Democrat elected officials' homes.
The Reuters' reporting includes these key elements: Albuquerque Police announced on Monday that they had arrested Solomon Pena, 39, and accused him of conspiring with, and paying, four other men to shoot at the homes of two county commissioners and two state legislators, all of them Democrats. In addition, Albuquerque Police claim that they have evidence that Pena himself fired some of the shots.
At a press conference, Albaquerque Police said that Pena had denied his recent election loss; and that he had confronted the commissioners and lawmakers at their homes with claims that election fraud was involved. Maybe Ghorra is keeping his mouth shut because he knows that this guy Solomon Pena wasn't vetted any better than Brian Fox or Mike Ragusaa. Pena had a significant criminal record before he became a New Mexico GOP candidate for state representative in 2022.

Admit it, some Russkies and Chinamen voted for their own. They couldn't care less about the Brooklyn GOP.
And with Michael Novakov it was more about Inna Vernikov and Dov Hikind than any Brooklyn GOP.
What Mathylde Frontus and Peter Abbate know is that they lost because certain kinds of Democrats didn't vote for them, the Democrats that didn't look like them and spoke with different accents or no English at all. Similar factors worked against Steve Cymbrowitz, but more subtly in a redrawn very diverse district ethno-religiously that was very similar to the one which had elected Cymbrowitz but voted heavily for Trump in 2020.
In all three cases it was a heavy shift of Democrat voters of certain ethnicities to GOP candidates of similar ethnicites or cultural closeness, not GOP campaigning that cost the Democrats the local seats.
Ted runs Chang and spends 11k. Chang wins. Abbate spends 300k. Abbate loses.

The number of "K"s had nothing to do with it; the Dems and the GOP county organizations had nothing to do with it; and Ted had nothing to do with it, unless he changed the shape of somebody's eyes. Unlike most Asians, Lester Chang did not become a NYS Assmblyman based on any merit whatsoever, or on the merits of any strategy, the execution of any plan, and any completely lucky result.
Lester Chang was a quota driven old time affirmative action hire of the worst kind. There is nothing in the election of Lester Chang that any Re[ublican should be proud of now or ever.
Personally I don't mind if Ragusa wears women's sunglasses. To each their own I say !
