People like Anna Belfiore-Delfaus, Brian Fox, Vito LaBella, and Mike Ragusa seem to think that being a political person is nothing more than talking about stuff [[[ lately, that means crime-crime-crime-crime-crime]]] --- and --- that chatter [[[mostly about crime-crime-crime-crime-crime]]] is the same as action, process, follow-through, and the accomplishment of a clearly stated goal or purpose
What can anybody expect from such a flock of gabbling geese and damnable dabblers, who have no genuine political or civic accomplishments, or any semblance of seriousness in their political machinations ? ! ? ! ?

Hey! This is related to some extent. Today is the first deadline for financial disclosures under the NYC-CFB Matching Funds program.
With changes possible until midnight tonight, here are what the candidates in the 47th Council District say they have raised so far:
Brannan - 306 donations for a total of $40,628
Kagan - 121 donations for a total of $8,774
Belfiore-Delfaus - 0 donations for a total: $0
Ragusa - 0 donations for a total: $0
Pereira - does not appear - apparently not a registered candidate with CFB for 2023 election
Fox - does not appear - apparently not a registered candidate with CFB for 2023 election
It's still very early in the 2023 election cycle, but it shows what it shows.
Ragusa raised some money but it's mostly all from his mom's company and her employees
I don't mind if Ragusa wears women's sunglasses. I don't think anyone will notice.
