So, show of hands --- How many of you think that Andrew Cuomo is "DONE" politically ???

What about another run for governor in 2022 ?????

What's happening [has happened] to all those "charges" that the AG Tish James had found so credible in her report about the former governor's conduct not so very long ago ???????

We hear that Mr. Cuomo, the one who's not the TV guy, is aching to jump into the main ring and take on all challengers  ---  and settle a few scores while he is at it.....

Albany DA David Soares released a statement earlier today saying that he will not prosecute the misdemeanor criminal complaint against former Governor Andrew Cuomo. The forcible touching complaint was originally filed by the Albany County Sheriff’s Office in October 2021.

According to Soares,  “....  While many have an opinion regarding the allegations against the former Governor, the Albany County DA’s Office is the only one who has a burden to prove the elements of a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. While we found the complainant in this case cooperative and credible, after review of all the available evidence we have concluded that we cannot meet our burden at trial....”  However, there is a lot that the Albany DA is not saying that is very important.

First, as it stands, the complaint "mistakenly" filed by the Albany County Sheriff's Office (jurisdictionally strange to begin with) is fatally defective as an accusatory instrument, and would have had to have been dismissed by the courts in due course.

Second, how "cooperative and credible" can the "complainant" be if she doesn't seem to be willing to sign the complainant's affidavit against former Governor Cuomo, which is necessary for the prosecution to continue.

All of this has been known for quite some time by the NYS AG, the Albany County District Attorney's Office, the Albany County Sheriff's Office, and many in the media  ---  especially, those parts of the media that specialize in what's happening in and around the NYS capital.....    And it all has the stink to it of   >>>  a conspiracy and vendetta against former Governor Andrew Cuomo for his political sins over the years.....

Needless to say, Andrew Cuomo is quite pissed-off  ---  and ---  "vendetta" is a word  that he only spells using ALL CAPS - ALL THE TIME.

Cuomo is running for Governor. That's no surprise. What does surprise me is how dont think hes going to run. And he'll win.

This charge was based upon allegations made by Brittany Commisso, an executive assistant to the governor who said that Governor Cuomo had reached under her blouse and groped her breast. The supposed encounter took place when she says that she had been summoned to the Executive Mansion in Albany to assist the governor with his cell phone sometime late in 2020.

There were early signs that the Commisso charges had real problems, including how it was all being handled legally. those problems centered around a dispute between Albany DA Soares and the Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple. The local sheriff angered the Albany prosecutor when the Sheriff's Office "accidently" filed the complaint without the prosecutor's knowledge, and without a supporting affidavit by the complaining witness.

106, the sheriff's words were "mistakenly filed"; and that's very different from "accidently filed".

110, next time take a little more time to "fact check" yourself. As a prior commenter had correctly quoted the man, Albany Sheriff Craig Apple did use the words "accidently filed" to explain why the complaint made by whom he had referred to as "Executive Assistant #1” had been filed without consulting the principal local prosecutor.

Several sources used and repeated the phrase "accidently filed" at the time. For example, around that time last year, Cuomo's attorney said, "'Accidentally' filing a criminal charge without notification and consent of the prosecuting body doesn’t pass the laugh test and this process reeks of Albany politics and perhaps worse. The fact that the AG — as predicted — is about to announce a run for governor is lost on no one. The truth about what happened with this cowboy sheriff will come out."

He isn't a cowboy sheriff, at all. Sheriff Craig Apple is a glorified volunteer fireman, emergency rescue, and ambulance service sheriff, who is popular in the Albany area, and who happens to have a huge campaign warchest for bigger and better things in the future.

Sheriff Crag Asshole held a press conference to announce a judge accidently released it. Sheriff is big on hat and excuses.
