Love him hate him something in between or whatever Vito is the last hope of the Brooklyn GOP. People love to talk about the City Council race next year but if you can’t take back this seat which is much more Republican friendly than the council seat, there is no kind of future for the Brooklyn GOP.
Ever since Bob got on board with Vito everything changed. Vito is deluged with money and volunteers and now Gale broke his no picture rule.
Now its clear who the real victor was in 2017.
How could anybody think that Mr. After Hours, AM/PM, Michael Musto, Nelson Sullivan, Bob Wooodward, John Belushi, Studio 54, Outlaw Bashes, Cash Christmas gifts to cops on the take and all the rest is the best way to go as the candidate for any State Senate seat held by a somewhat progressive Democrat that supposedly is '... much more Republican friendly than the council seat...'
Just plug-in the first ten of those names, terms or categories listed above in your search engine, one by one or in groups of two or three, along with the name 'Vito Bruno' and see what comes up.

In one brilliant move, Ted Ghorra and the old Seergy Club cabal has turned State Senator Andrew Gounardes into the 'traditional family values' candidate in his race for re-election to the NY State Senate.
It's PFM , 'Pure Friggin' Magic'; there's no other way to describe it.
Nothing proves that Vito is a viable candidate more than the comments by the Andrew lackey at 10:02 and 10:11. The too good for our district Senator Andrew who couldn’t be bothered to ever show up at anything is now personally responding to residents complaining of overflowing trash cans. The only cabal involved in Vito’s race was for him to not run an independent campaign to tank it so he can just help Nicole. Obviously Vito isn’t complying.

Wow Capano really sent a shot across the bow at Ghorra in his column!! He doesn't take shit from anyone, he is a true independent Republican!! Cant wait for Bay Ridge's favorite son to be Deputy Mayor under Mayor Sliwa.
The only question about the 2021 mayoral race is whether GOP chairs are despondent/insane enough to let Sliwa run. He, like any other Republican (including Cats) gets 17% to 23% against any Democrat.

I have to say Capano was my second choice in the 2017 GOP primary but now he would be my first..he is giving them hell !!

Wow some inside the Brooklyn GOP and local Democrats seem really afraid of a Sliwa GOP candidacy and mayoralty. Could it be they know Sliwa and Capano would make sure they are on the outside looking in !!! Hahahaha
It may be his current job, 10:03, but as he discovered the last time he talked a big game about running for office ... the Campaign Finance Board considers him being on the air an in-kind contribution far in excess of the maximum donation limit. And since he works for a private company, and business contributions aren't allowed at all ... Curtis needs a new job.
Not that it matters. As desperate as the county chairs are, Sliwa is a bit much for them. He can't raise money. And he won't get more than 23% in a good year.
1120 sounds very defensive of a Sliwa campaign. Everyone knows John Cats will back Curtis with the $$$. They are close and Cats owns the radio station he works at so maximum leeway..so much envy, and fear of Sliwa and Capano!!! Lol
Senate seat is much more Republican friendly than the Council seat. It's a shame because we could beat Gounardes this year if only we had a real candidate to put up. Ted Ghorra has failed once again. I think we'll be lucky if we get Tanoussis over the finish line but that will be all.

1:15 forgets that Capano didn’t max out in fundraising when he ran, and he worked for Cats too. Cats can’t give a dollar more To Sliwa than anyone else can, and he can’t, by law, let him remain on the air if he’s a candidate.
Sure enough, as predicted on this blog, just as Liam gave an Ole' railroad tracks story about his dad when he died, now with the passing of his mom he posted to social media a similar story about his mom about the 4th of july and the rocky mountains. When will Liam see people dont respect using your parent's deaths to gain political points.
