The latest disclosures about pedophile Cardinal Theodore McCarrick raise very relevant questions about the Roman Catholic Bishop of Brooklyn and Queens Nicholas Di Marzio --- after all, in almost every way, McCarrick made Di Marzio [what he is today].....
Long ago, Brooklyn's Bishop DiMarzio promised a fuller explanation related to the initial sex charges pending against him from his days back in McCarrick's New Jersey stomping grounds --- so far, NOTHING additional has come forth from the Bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn [[[ SInce that time, in June 2020, another young man has made a separate complaint against Bishop DiMarzio, alleging sexual abuse while DiMarzio was a priest in the Diocese of Newark, New Jersey ]]]
Now, some specific questions need to be asked of Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio --- like this >>>

According to key portions of a very timely NY Daily News account, ".... Former Cardinal Theodore McCarrick allegedly ran a depraved sex ring of underage boys at a beach house on the Jersey Shore... " The specific allegation "... claims that in 1982 and 1983 [young boys as young as 14 years old] were taken on weekend overnight trips to a Sea Girt beach house.... In an interview with ["Slate"] last year, McCarrick said he believed his accusers had been manipulated by his 'enemies' to come up with similar stories involving abuse on the Shore.... 'I’m not as bad as they paint me. I do not believe that I did the things that they accused me of,' he said...."

I believe that Theodore McCarrick was a "secular" priest for his entire "career" in the Church. In addition to being a "Pedo," Cardinal McCarrick was a poster boy for "careerists" in the Roman Catholic Hierarchy --- poverty just ain't in their playbook.

One of the most interesting things that Robert Chambers said during the pendency of the murder case against him was that a male could be raped --- he was then silenced by his defense counsel, which was being paid for by the Catholic Arch-Diocese of New York..... His high school tuition was also paid by the Church, just like some of the under-aged guests at McCarrick's beach house.

It's been more than seven months since Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio promised a fuller explanation related to the first charges of sexual abuse of a young person brought against him in 2019. So far SILENCE from DiMarzio on that score..... Since then, additional charges have been made against the Roman Catholic Bishop of Brooklyn by another victim claiming that Nicholas DiMarzio sexually abused him. In response, still nothing of substance from DiMarzio about any of it.....
Instead, he keeps making broad and sweeping denials and keeps telling anybody that will listen how good he has been for the victims of sexual abuse over a long period of time. Significantly, DiMarzio has personally lawyered-up big time; and the Roman Catholic hierarchy directly involved in the DiMarzio scandal have lawyered-up big time as well.
This is how DiMarzio's lawyer's statement is covered in the official diocesan newspaper of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, "The Tablet.": “.... 'Both allegations against my client are more than 40 years old, and the accusers are each seeking 20-million dollars from the Newark Archdiocese,' said attorney Joseph Hayden who is representing Bishop DiMarzio.... 'We have been investigating these claims and we have uncovered conclusive evidence of Bishop DiMarzio’s innocence. We look forward to challenging these allegations in court or in any other proceeding,' he said...." According to multiple reports in newspapers, on-line and on TV, a priest in Queens was arrested today by the FBI, and accused of sending sexually explicit photographs to a teenage young male. Father Francis Hughes is pastor at St. Pancras Parish in Glendale; he is also charged with receiving images of child pornography via text from the 15-year-old, who lives in Westchester.
Acting U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said, “The allegations against Francis Hughes are chilling and frightening to any parent. A person who, by the nature of his profession, is presumed to be trustworthy allegedly victimized a child. Thanks to the FBI, Hughes now faces a serious federal charge....”
An important part of the criminal complaint against Father Hughes indicated that he admitted to FBI agents that he knew the teen was underage and that he did send the pictures and messages to the teen.
