Not content to be running another one of those GOP "also ran" campaigns for the NY State Assembly, Ray Denaro has decided to poke one of the hibernating bears inside the Republican Party, who was happily ignoring people like Ray during a late winter siesta in the bear's funk hole penthouse on Staten Island
I would have thought that Ray might have other things on his plate, but I guess not.....
I do have one bit of free advice for Mr. Denaro --- don't poke the bear unless you plan to feed him very quickly; or, unless you are ready to have some after-hibernation luvin' --- of course, culminating in his mating with you, in due course and in all the traditional bearish ways
Ray Denaro's latest Tweet was intriguingly provocative and way off whatever mark he was aiming at. Here's what he writ:

This Tweet by Mr. Denaro is quite intriguing to me, because once upon a time I used to Tweet at "Galewyn Massey @chtjasalo"..... However, as far as I know, that Twitter account has been silent since 2016 --- certainly, I have been silent on that account. More important, I never had any blog associated with that Twitter account.....
So, what the heck "@chtjasalo blog!" is the benighted Mr. Denaro talking about ?????
And finally this: Nothing could be more irrelevant in this whole world than Ray Denaro's "... motivation to win!" some assembly race anywhere in Brooklyn, much less against the likes of long-time Democrat incumbent Assemblyman Bill Colton.
Now, Ray, go back to your sleepy little campaign for the Assembly seat for the 47th A.D.; and don't get my attention again any time soon --- trust me, you won't like the attention that you get one bit.

Denaro is a bit of a puzzle. He seems decent enough, but his tactics suggest a complete ignorance of grassroots politics. He doesn't raise money. He doesn't target voters. He doesn't have a strategy, except to vent about how great a campaign he plans to run.
What the hell is his point? That he can run and lose more than anyone else?
Funny you said “dont poke the bear”..my favorite quote of all time is “see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear.” I live to get under people’s skin like you Gale lol..you’re users can blog about me all day and im supposed to be silent? I did for a while...but one little tweet and you get sooooo emotional. Its cute actually :) and it kinda shows how mentally weak u truly are.......

Ray needs to hire a professional to help steer his ship. I hate to say it but Capano, O’Brien, Liam would net better than what he has going on. But he will have no money, and no support from county. Is he even fundraising? He has potential but whoever is tweeting and posting for him is a joke.

Seriously, if Ray is reading this blog: doing the same old thing, campaign after campaign, is insane. Especially when the same old means a low-budget, amateur operation.
You're pissed off with Albany and want to change things? Good. Start by reaching out to people with experience -- real experience -- with political campaigns.
Ray should let Liam run his campaign so Liam can go 0 for 20 in past 2 years..

Anyone else see the photos of Liam on Facebook blasted for St Patrick's Day?
Liam got Ulrich elected to the city council, Grimm to Congress, Starobin to Senate and some other wins.
Liam lost his own race in 2017, just lost the Public Advocate race with Ulrich, caused Steve Saperstein to lose for Assembly last year, lost his Grimm GOP primary to Donovan and really got destroyed in Brooklyn, lost with Marty Golden , lost with Robert Morgan as Metropolitan Club P rez, lost his relationship with Malliotakis for backing Ulrich for Public Advocate and some other losses.
Liam sometimes gets hired to do some petitioning or lawn sign deployment. No one in their right mind lets him anywhere near the important stuff like media and planning.
'Liam...', 'Liam...', 'Liam...', 'Liam...', and so forth!
Somebody needs to get a life.
Saint Patrick's Day weekend is not a good time to be talking about Liam in a meaningful or sober way...if you know what I mean....
