Just don't sign any Republican petitions for anybody this year --- unless.....

I so enjoyed my "Just Don't Vote" post below that I decided to go back to that theme one more time

There are some people running around claiming that they are Republicans, and that they are trying to build-up and strengthen the Brooklyn GOP;  and here's what they want you to do for them  ---  if you are a registered Republican  ---  they'll be asking you to sign something called an Election Petition for somebody running for the "County Committee" from the Election District comprising the few blocks around your house or apartment ( it can be as small as one block or, in some cases, even just one building)

These people running for the County Committee are supposed to be Republican activists  >>> and they are also supposed represent you and the other Republicans living closest to you in the neighborhood <<<  In other words,  they really need to know you and what you think about the Republican Party, and you're really supposed to know them and what they think about the Republican Party

What I'm asking you to do is very easy  ---  if you don't know anything about the people whose names are on the petition ---  just don't sign it  ---  that's it.....

Remember, if you don't know them and they don't know you, just don't sign their petition for County Committee.

If you want to have some fun, ask any of the petitioners who they are supporting to be the 2019-2020 Chairman of  the Kings County Republican Party  ---  just watch the reaction you'll get.

Some of these folks will tell you,  "Ted Ghorra, of course !"

If so,  ask them, "Who's Ted Ghorra" ?   But then say, "Isn't he the guy who almost single-handedly caused both Marty Golden and Dan Donovan to lose their offices in Albany and Washington ?"

There is a better chance that Ed McMahon will knock on your door before a GOP petition gatherer.

But, isn't Ed McMahon dead?
You shouldn't joke about such things.

Just because Ed McMahon is dead is no reason to disenfranchise him. Ed McMahon should be able to petition for the candidate(s) of his choosing.

Gail, is this you trying to be cute?
A little tongue in cheek like the "Just Don't Vote' item was okay, I guess; but now this, this is overkill.
You're not being a 'Cheeky Monkee', you're being an 800 pound 'Chechen Gorilla'.
Or could it be this: Are you trying to provoke David Storobin into an old style 'Putin-esca' or 'Putin-escapade' by rebutting his 'Shorefront News' pufferies about the Golden, Ghorra, Quaglione troika better than Bob Capano did in his column about the big 'Red' resurgence?
If you want some real whimsey, you can have this one for free: 'What do you call any attempt to block Golden, Ghorra and Quaglione in 2019? 'A troik stop'.

I already have 300 republican signatures and I never left my kitchen.

Ray Denaro for Assembly! Finally a candidate the GOP can get behind.................that will get slightly better than the baseline vote and be promised the world only to fall flat on his face and fleeced like he did in 2017.

Why do most Republicans always seem like they are at their 'first rodeo'. and not understand that they are always being led by RINOs?
Michelle Malkin gets it. Yesterday she 'belled the cat' during her speech at CPAC. Here's the gist of it, '... both parties are to blame.... And yes, I’m looking at you, retired [Speaker] Paul Ryan; and yes, I’m looking at you, [Senate Majority Leader] Mitch McConnell; and yes, I’m looking at you, Bush family; and yes, I’m looking at you, the ghost of John McCain.... It’s the GOP sellouts.... Those are the real grifters....'
Even though Malkin's slam was at the recent field of GOP immigration 'sellouts', what she said applies equally across various periods of time and to so many other issues.
It even applies to the Brooklyn GOP in 2019 and 'the ghost' of Marty Golden past.

Reading some of Denaro's public pronouncements about his upcoming 2020 Assembly race ... where he won't raise more than $20,000. Or get more than 30% of the vote.

Ray Denaro is a legend in his own mind

Anonymous said...

But... but... he never posts anonymously!

I hope I don't use up Ray Denaro's fifteen minutes of fame by posting this, but he didn't use up any of it himself the last time he ran.

First, is this the same Ray Denaro that doesn't blog anonymously? If it is then he needs to change his strategy in his run for the assembly, or as any pro will tell you his second shot at being a happy snowball in hell.

Denaro needs to campaign anonymously, because he stands as much chance of winning if he runs anonymously as he would with a well-financed, well-run conventional campaign.

Plus, if he runs anonymously, the 'Queen of the Click' won't be able to kick Ray Denaro around during the campaign.

Queen of the Click is a nut who only cozies up to disgruntled Republicans as a favor to Justin to get some information.

RESPONSE: THE "IF YOU WANT EVERYBODY TO KNOW YOUR NAME --- TRY 'CHEERS' ON BEACON HILL IN BOSTON" EDITION

TO ALL MY UNCONFUSED ANONYMOUS COMMENTERS, AND EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE RAY DENARO, WHO POSTS ANONYMOUSLY THAT HE NEVER POSTS ANONYMOUSLY

IT'S NOT UNANIMOUS BUT WE ARE MOSTLY ANONYMOUS IN THESE PARTS --- EVEN RAY .....

Both the "Queen of the Click" and I blog anonymously; and as a result, nobody has the slightest idea who we might be. Some folks probably think that "Queen of the Click" and "Galewyn Massey" even might be the same person.

Anyway, as Jim Bacchus said in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" --- "It's the only way to fly...".

As Dick Shawn said in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World" - - "Don't call me baby"

I think that Jonathan Winters, as truck driver Lennie Pike in 'It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World', said that when Dick Shawn as Sylvester, Ethel Merman's son and Dorothy Provine's brother, used the word "baby" while they were digging close together looking for the cash under 'The Big Double-u'.

GM everybody knows who Queen of the Click is and aside from blogging, nothing about you two that would confuse anyone. She even acknowledges by posting her fist name once in a while.

I heard Marlene queen of da click was reported for blogging during teacher time last week and I wonder if she knows yet .

Anonymous said...

Oh boy, I wonder exactly where you heard that; maybe from one of the voices inside your head? What I heard is that the voices inside your head have gotten so loud that anybody who is near you can hear them.
btw, Marlene just e-mailed me at 10:10 AM to say, "Hello"; and tell you, "Teacher time, smeacher time!"

... And this song is dedicated to NYS Conservative Party Chairman Jerry Kassar:

Rosy cheeks and turned up nose and curly hair
I'm raving 'bout our chairman now
Pretty little dimples here and dimples there
Don't want to live without him
I love him goodness knows
I wrote a song about him and here's the way it goes

Baby Face, he's got the cutest little baby face
There's not another one could take his place, Baby face
My poor heart is jumpin', we sure have started somethin'
Baby face, I'm up in heaven when I'm in his fond embrace
I didn't need a shove, 'cause I just fell in love
With his pretty baby face

Ray Denaro has more body fat percentage than a chance at winning assembly. He tweets all day long useless information. He needs to go back to making sandwiches rather than run a political campaign.

What is Ray Denaro prior experience? He’s a loser.
