Russell Gallo: the "Official" Brooklyn YRs’ new “Man of Steel”

No, I don’t mean as in “Superman” !  No, I don’t mean as in a new “Andrew Carnegie”!   I am comparing the "Official" Brooklyn Young Republican’s Mr. G  to Ioseb Besarionis dze Dzhugashvili, or as he is more widely known, by his adopted name “Josef Stalin” –  “The Man of Steel”

Many would say this is a stretch. Even I could easily be forced to admit that it probably is at least a little hyperbolic. However, this week on Brooklyn GOP [Blog] Radio it was pretty clear that Russell blames all the Americans who elected  President Obama for our current political and economic mess; and he wishes bad things to happen to them. Even his sidekick Gene R. Berardelli had to demur.  More important Gallo implied that things would only get worse if we continued with the lawful elective process that is now in place in the United States.  Everybody has long known that, except for small personal matters, Gallo is a lockstep militarist and authoritarian.

Also this week, Gallo announced new “elections” for his personally administered “Official” Brooklyn Young Republicans. With that, he added another Stalinist tool to his bag of tricks, the attempted elimination of former friends and allies from the historical record and from public memory  —  this was raised to its artistic and now popular definition, “memory hole,” by George Orwell in his novel, “1984". In this instance it appears that Gallo, in his position as the Brooklyn YRs’ President, chose to summarily dispatch his former colleague in many matters for the Brooklyn GOP, Jacob Kornbluh, from the Brooklyn YRs website.

Kornbluh [a/k/a “The Jacob Kornbluh”] had long appeared on Gallo’s YRs’ site as the YRs’ “Treasurer.”  “Treasurer:  Jacob Kornbluh” had appeared in the “About Us” window under the categorical title, “Meet the Board of Directors”.  Now, the Treasurer slot appears thus: “Treasurer:  VACANT”.

Gallo seems to have a real problem with ykw... and like Stalin elimination is one of the favored solutions.

"The Jacob Kornbluh" and his "Bibi Report" and other blogs also have been purged from the "Brooklyn GOP Radio -Official- Show Blog" that' is is run by Gallo and Berardelli.

UPDATE: See the Tuesday, February 19, 2013 “Brooklyn GOP Radio – Official – Show Blog” entitled “YES!” by Russell Gallo. For some reason and without explanation, Mr. Gallo has posted a commercial/p.r. video about “...Micro Air Vehicle (MAVs) buglike drones” that was produced by a defense contractor, General Dynamics Media Communications, Dayton, Ohio and broadcast/distributed AFRL Air Vehicles Directorate (Animation, Sound, Editing Isaiah Davenport – U.S. Air Force).

This comment is posted here as an “UPDATE” because it was the first item to appear by Russel Gallo and on a Gallo/Brooklyn GOP affiliated blog after our posting critical of Mr. Gallo as the Official Brooklyn YRs' "Man of Steel" last night. The prior posting on “Brooklyn GOP Radio – Official – Show Blog” (also by Gallo) was posted on February 8th, eleven days earlier.

Like I said above, “... Gallo is a lockstep militarist and authoritarian.” — certainly someone with such personality and character traits would respond with a spontaneous and enthusiastic “YES!” to a commercial about “...Micro Air Vehicle (MAVs) buglike drones....” Again, Gallo's posting is made without any accompanying reason or explanation whatsoever.

UPDATE: The "Official" Brooklyn YRs rearranged their deckchairs by "electing" some new officers. Kings County Republican Leader Craig Eaton is reported to have been on hand to congratulate his newest class of "Official" Brooklyn YRs officers. As usual, with this group, there was no report of the number of "members" in attendance, the method of selecting candidates or the number of votes cast for each office.

Later in the evening on this week's Brooklyn GOP [Blog] Radio program the so-called former Brooklyn YRs President Gallo and his sidekick Berardelli repeatedly suggested that real Brooklyn Young Republican Club President Glenn Nocera step down so that the two groups of Brooklyn young Republicans could set up (a) committee(s) to achieve some sort of unity.

Also of interest to a few of us involved with this blog, Brooklyn GOP [Blog] Radio hosts, Gene Berardelli and Russell Gallo, kept mentioning the ",,,blogs" and even twice alluded to the "...Stalin..." post above.

Sorry guys I am not going to step down from being President of the Brooklyn Young Republican Club. Brooklyn is big enough for Two clubs. Remember our club has been going strong since 1880, and we are going no where.

Belated UPDATE of a sort:
The most interesting and newsworthy item contained in the Friday, February 22, 2013 “Brooklyn GOP Radio -Official- Show Blog” featured bit of fracking, “The Torch Has Been Passed” by Russell Gallo is actually this comment which followed Mr. Gallo’s unnatural gas attack: “Anonymous said... *** The last treasurer left to pursue other interests? And what were those? Working for democrats? *** You are being way too kind to TJK. Tell the truth! *** Also, where is TJK registered to vote and in which party???? *** You guys are wimps. ***
2/22/2013" ( See Comments following: [http://brooklyngopradio.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-torch-has-been-passed.html#comment-form ]

I’ve made a quick phone survey of the openly anti-“TJK” independent Republicans that I know; and I don’t believe that comment came from any of them.

Btw, a regular old comment maker on the Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn blog pointed out that “TJK” and the Gallo-Berardelli “Brooklyn GOP Radio -Official- Show Blog” was repeatedly pilloried on ASIB more than a year ago — for contracting-out so much of the Brooklyn GOP Radio posting and commenting to “TJK”. At that time, it was noted that “TJK” was most likely neither a Republican nor a U.S. citizen — and that almost certainly “TJK” would wind up being somebody that many Republican activists in the Brooklyn GOP establishment would not be happy having to deal with. Oh, how prescient that regular old comment maker on the Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn turned out being.
