Following a bruising tenure of strife and division, the head of the Kings County Republican Organization is calling it quits with just a few weeks to go before what looks like will be more heartbreak and recriminations after November's high-stakes City Council elections --- We were called and told the good news by a Brooklyn GOP Executive Member rather early on Thursday evening --- and Ted Ghorra confirmed all of it >>> late Thursday evening to somebody at the Daily News who treated it as big news..... Oh, hum !!!!! This was a long time coming --- and lately Ghorra has been scarcer than hens' teeth anyway.....
According to the Daily News >>> Ghorra did not say when his last day as Brooklyn GOP Chairman would be. or offer any reason for his sudden exit stage left --- "Heavens to Mergatroyd !!!!!" However, a Brooklyn GOP source said to the News that Ghorra most likely would step aside after the GOP’s Oct. 6th formal reorganization meeting . In a statement, Ghorra said he would not be surprised if the Brooklyn GOP Executive Director, Richard Barsamian were to succeed him as County Chairman. (Oh, goody !!!!!!!)
Since most of the Daily News coverage of Ghorra's very quick and rather suspiciously unexplained departure contains nothing but Ghorra's own self-serving platitudes and evasive nonsense, we won't report any of that stuff. However, one of the outspoken Ghorra critics was quoted anonymously as follows: ".... a disillusioned Brooklyn Republican Party source said Ghorra has not done enough to back Kagan.... 'Ted Ghorra was absent every step of the way, not a part of the Kagan campaign, or for that matter the Brooklyn GOP whatsoever, it felt like,' the source said. 'With contentious City Council races this year in Brooklyn … this entire situation has been a calamity.'...”

This is Kassar and what's left of Marty Golden (yeah he's failing very fast in so many ways; this year it showed with the Ragamuffin fundraising) trying to do a cleanup of a Ghorra mess on the floor in aisle three without putting folks like Bob Capano, John Quaglione and Liam McCabe into the mix (under Kassar, Golden and Ghorra even the second rate talent from a few years ago is gone; and they have made giants out of Justin Brannan and Andrew Gounardes).
Wait until the rest of the NY GOP gets a load of this piece of work, Richard Barsamian. It won't be long before "LURCH" will be the nicest and most appreciative thing that they call him and say about him.

Since more than two days have passed since the KKKagen KKKrew posted their preposterous claim [ more than 52 hours for those who are clock-watchers ], it is increasingly looking like the claim that "... poll shows Ari at 72%. again...." is just another Brian Fox-style fake news item, that is 100% a fabrication made out of "Maltese Falcon" feathers.
