The pressure is growing on Judge Maryellen Norieka to reject the Hunter Biden plea deal amid evidence of DOJ interference with the local federal prosecutor's attempts to bring more severe charges

Since the whistle blower allegations became widely know since this time last week, pressure has been growing by many Republicans in Congress, among leading legal experts,  and even some media circles for the federal judge, who is handling the Hunter Biden case to  >>>  reject the plea deal that would allow President Joe Biden's son to avoid serving prison time after evidence has emerged that a more serious criminal tax case was sabotaged by the Biden/Garland Justice Department.....

Hunter Biden, the 53 yoa son of President Joe Biden, is scheduled to appear on July 26th in the Federal Court in Delaware before U.S. District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika  >>>  with a plea deal on the table  ---  that was offered by the Biden/ Garland DOJ prosecution team, and accepted by the defendant Hunter Biden and his defense team

For example, Republican Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin has been quoted by many in the right-leaning media as having said  >>>  “...  I hope this judge does reject this [deal], and then insists and demands on an honest investigation and an honest prosecution as well....”   And this  >>> “I don't understand how any judge could bless this plea agreement now that all of this evidence of obstruction and DOJ and FBI wrongdoing has surfaced....”  It should be remembered that Senator Johnson and Senator Charles Grassley led a two year probe into Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings and he was reacting to testimony and evidence provided by IRS supervisory agent Gary Shapley and another IRS whistleblower that federal prosecutors had blocked search warrants, interviews and other investigative measures, as well as more serious criminal charges against Hunter Biden fully supported by the existing uncovered evidence.

Harvard law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz, a longtime supporter of Joe Biden, agreed there are good reasons for Judge Noreika to set aside the plea deal and require a complete report concerning the whistleblowers' allegations of DOJ interference. Dershowitz said it was quite troubling that the whistleblowers’ testimony directly conflicts with Attorney General Merrick Garland’s testimony that there was no interference in the Hunter Biden probe.

“If I were the judge on the Hunter Biden case, I would refuse to accept the plea bargain unless and until Garland and Weiss testify,” Dershowitz told a reporter on Tuesday. “What they've said is utterly incompatible...  [with other testimony and evidence in the case]”

In a Wall Street Journal opinion piece by Eileen O’Connor, the former head of the DOJ’s tax division, declared on Tuesday that the interference the IRS investigating  team faced was unprecedented, and it would be appropriate for the judge sitting on the case to “throw Hunter Biden’s plea deal in the trash.”  Then, Ms. O'Connor went on to add this  >>>  "....  Judges can reject plea agreements. That would be an appropriate disposition here.... And Congress, in fulfillment of its oversight obligation, must learn and share with the American public what evidence the IRS gathered, what evidence its agents weren’t permitted to obtain, and what charges might have been brought if they had.”

Gail, the pressure is growing on Joe Biden/ It's getting to him, and he is beginning to crack under the strain.

Yesterday, when the President was directly confronted by several news reporters, who asked him about Hunter's shakedown message on What'sApp , 'How involved were you in your son's Chinese shakedown text message? Were you sitting there? Were you involved?'; Biden angrily denied that he was involved in the alleged shakedown. “No!” he snapped at a reporter when asked if he was “sitting there” or “involved” with Hunter when his son sent a threatening WhatsApp text to businessman Henry Zhao on July 30, 2017.

Another time recently when he lost it was when a NY Post reporter asked him if he was 'The Big Guy'.

Also yesterday, why did Biden deliver his 'Bidenomics' speech in semi-darkness? That was really strange and spooky.

The amount of brain space Eaton takes up in all of your minds is quite "mind" boggling. And very very sad.

You all pretend Eaton has no clout etc, but he is in most of the posts. If he is so bad, why even talk about him?

"Kassar beat Eaton again" - that implies he beat Eaton before.

How about "Eaton beat Kassar and Ghorra in the 43rd Council District Race" - Ghorra and Kassar put a lot of money, juice, resources and their weight (and with Kassar that is a lot) behind Vito "I HATE BROOKLYN" Labella, a now two time loser.

Eaton endorsed, did a video endorsement and campaigned with her a lot, and she beat Labella.

Eaton must be laughing all the way to his mansion in south jersey this weekend...while you guys pine away and blah blah blah

Gale I am perplexed why you didnt go right to the issue of the Judge. Appointed by Trump but Law 360 said on January 2021 she is on Bidens list for Court of Appeals.

Counsel it looks like this case will be decided on the merits.

"IT'S THE STUFF THAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF....."

One man's judge is the next man's pawn. Then again, eventually even a pawn can sometimes become a queen.

And somebody like Hunter should never confuse somebody else's pawn with his own porn, because he just might wind up with his dick in his hand, all dressed up, but with no place to go.....

Meanwhile, an interesting observer of judges, a guy named "Ted Hamm," is calling for justice to lift her blindfold to look into in a case involving what cops have strongly suggested is an accidental death or death by natural causes of somebody that had a real problem with a likely corrupt Queens judge. There are all kinds of cases where cops have strongly suggested something other than murder, because somebody important might be or have been involved.

BACKFILL: THE "DON'T OVERLOOK THIS....." EDITION

THE NY TIMES HAS >>> CONFIRMED <<< THIS KEY CLAIM IN A SWORN STATEMNT TO CONGRESS BY WHISTLEBLOWER GARY SHAPLEY

".... in mid-2022, Mr. Weiss reached out to the top federal prosecutor in Washington, Matthew Graves, to ask his office to pursue charges and was rebuffed, according to Mr. Shapley’s testimony.... A similar request to prosecutors in the Central District of California, which includes Los Angeles, was also rejected, Mr. Shapley testified. A second former I.R.S. official, who has not been identified, told House Republicans the same story. That episode was confirmed independently to The New York Times by a person with knowledge of the situation.... While Mr. Weiss had the authority to pursue leads that led to jurisdictions other than his own in Delaware, the department’s practices dictated that he secure the approval and cooperation of the U.S. attorneys in those districts before proceeding....” [NY TIMES article on 6/27/2023 by Glenn Thrush and Mischael S, Schmidt cited in an earlier comment of ours elswhere on this blog]
