The latest Harvard/Harris survey contains a strong mix of polling poison for the re-elction campaign and prospects for President Joe Biden, and his supporters inside the Democrat Party.
With less than a year before the next presidential election cycle and selection process settles on the major party candidates, a growing portion of the voting public appears to dislike President Biden and to disagree with his stands on key policy issues.
The polling shows that many Americans are now willing to openly express their concerns about Biden's his age and fitness, and give voice to their skepticism about the Biden/ Garland Justice Department's handling of the investigations of former President Donald Trump, culminating in his criminal indictment.
According to the latest Harvard/ Harris survey, if the presidential election were held today, Trump would emerge as the clear favorite, with 45% opting for the Republican Trump compared to 39% who sided with the incumbent Democrat Biden; with fifteen percent of those polled being unsure as to how they would vote.
The Harvard/ Harris June poll of 2090 registered voters was conducted on June 14-15, a week after the Trump indictment had been announced and published.
Even the RealClearPolitics polling average now shows Biden and Trump in a virtual tie, with Biden holding a mere 0.1% lead over Trump, but with the trend line in favor of Trump.

Gary Shapley’s legal representatives released a letter over the weekend containing the names of several contemporaneous witnesses at an October 7, 2022 meeting, who Shapley alleges heard U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss say he did not have authority to charge in other districts and had requested special counsel status that had been refused. Shapley is the IRS investigator and whistlblower, who is one of the witnesses that came forward to testify before congress about the Hunter Biden investigations by the IRS and DOJ.
The letter was signed by these members of whistleblower Gary Shapley's team of advisors: Mark D. Lytle, a lawyer with Nixon Peabody LLP, and Jason Foster and Tristan Leavitt with Empower Oversight.
According to the Shapley legal team letter, among those present at the October 7th 2022 meeting were these witnesses were the following: Baltimore FBI Special Agent in Charge Tom Sobocinski; FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Ryeshia Holley, IRS Assistant Special Agent in Charge Gary Shapley; IRS Special Agent in Charge Darrell Waldon, who also independently and contemporaneously corroborated Mr. Shapley’s account in an email, now public as a congressional exhibit.
Of course, U.S. Attorney Weiss's name would be on such a list, and Mr. Shapley would have no insight as to why Mr. Weiss’s would make his statements at the October 7, 2022 meeting if they were false in any way at that time. That Mr. Weiss made these statements can be is easily corroborated and less easily be disproved.
Some are saying that it is now up to U.S. Attorney Weiss and the Justice Department's higher-ups to reconcile the evidence of Weiss's October 7, 2022 statements with the repeated contrary statements Attorney General Garland made to Congress and the public at large, that have apparently been corroberated to some extent by Weiss.
Whether Garland and Weiss step up or not, Congress needs to have them in for some tough questioning about all of this.

According to the official White House transcript Biden made those remarks on Friday during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several "Big Tech" CEOs. Laughter ensued from many in the crowd, and President Biden followed by saying, “... Now, all kidding aside...” before he went back to talking about more appropriate matters in a more appropriate way.
In a technical twist of sorts, technology was used to bring those comments and images back to haunt Biden more than three days later. The so-called “Research” Twitter account of the RNC posted a clip of POTUS's Friday remarks on Monday. That 14-second video did not include Biden's remark shortly indicating afterward that he was joking, and a screenshot of the official White House transcript shared by the GOP account similarly cut out the President’s explanatory afterthought that it was all "For Joke !!!"
On Monday, video of the President's most recent mental breakdown has gone viral on several platforms including YouTube, Twitter --- both with and without the President's "... all kidding aside..." exculpatory afterthought.
