Tucker Carlson's use of actual Capitol security footage to recapture the narrative of what really happened on Capitol Hill has so unglued Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell that he betrayed his flag of convenience  ---  and revealed his true colors  >>>  as a hard-core ally of those never again, bad-to-the-bone Anti-Trumpers that had been running the Demo-rats & Chaney-Kinzinger J6 Committee

After two nights of Carlson's BREAKING NEWS about J6 and the J6 Hearings, it is now very fair to argue, as Tucker Carlson does, that what happened on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021 was more likely closer to "mostly peaceful chaos" than it ever was to a democracy and nation threatening "insurrection"

As we enter day three of the Carlson-inspired and Speaker of the House McCarthy-supported video counter-revolution  ---  MAGA and other very right-thinking and righteous Republicans are again coming after Mitch McConnell with pitch forks, axes, and a length of rope for some much-needed neck-stretching for his patent disloyalty and craven mendacity

One very well-followed part of the free media of America reported the latest Carlson-inspired phenomenon mostly like this:

Conservative reaction was quick in coming after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, because he said that he thought it was a "mistake" for Fox News to allow Tucker Carlson to use the January 6th security tapes released to Carlson and Fox by the Speaker of the House to depict the events of J6 in a way contrary to the view of some of those in Capitol law enforcement. Here's exactly what McConnell did say yesterday:   "It was a mistake in my view for Fox News to depict this in a way that's completely at variance with what our chief law-enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks...."  (Of course, McConnell is referring to the post-J6-appointed Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger, who is much closer to being a Capitol staff super-hack than any kind of law enforcement professional, who was selected to keep a lid on the real J6 "Big Lie - Reichstag Fire" scandal. His bona fides as a police professional was most recently completely undercut by his own purely political letter to the Capitol Police force attacking the Tucker Carlson revalations  ---  from which McConnell apparently was paraphrasing without complete attribution).  And here is McConnell playing show-and-tell, while waving a copy of the politically motivated letter Capitol Police Chief Manger sent to the Capitol Police Officers:

McConnell's recent anti-Carlson statement has been widely circulated on the MSM and on social media. It was used by left-leaning media who have repeated with drumbeat regularity the Democrats' and McConnell's own "insurrection" narrative for more than two years to level new attacks on Fox News and Carlson. However, it should be noted that missing from McConnell's remarks  was any mention of many of Carlson's key reveals, especially that Carlson's newly exposed security video undercuts the Democrats' and media's mantra that Jan. 6 was a "deadly insurrection" inspired by Trump.

Today it seems that many conservative Republicans are pushing back against what the increasingly unreliable Kentucky senator did have to say, while hailing Carlson for exposing the Democrats' false J6 "insurrection" claims. For example, powerful NYS House Republican Elise Stefanik tweeted that "....  The Democrats' dishonest narrative is being demolished..."  and she called the Democrats' J6 Committee "...  nothing more than a scam..." used to smear Donald Trump and his supporters.
