Separately, in a blatantly political effort not to waste a tragedy, President Biden flogged the dead children killed earlier in the day --- in order to tout his as- yet-unfulfilled promise to ban AR-15-type rifles
From the White House podium, Biden's Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said >>> “We can’t keep seeing what we saw today. Right now, we’re hearing six kids — six elementary [school] kids dead,” Almost immediately a reporter rebutted the Press Secretary's erroneous statement with this >>> “Three kids and three adults...”
For his own part, Biden said the shooting was "sick" and "heartbreaking"; and he urged Congress to take further action on gun safety legislation, thus >>> We're monitoring the situation very closely," Biden said. "And we have to do more to stop gun violence. It's ripping our communities apart. Ripping at the very soul of this nation, and we have to do more to protect our schools and they aren't turned into prisons." Then Biden discussed how the shooter was armed with two assault weapons..., and a pistol. And he said, ""I call on Congress again to pass my assault weapons ban. It's about time that we begin to make some more progress," Biden said.

937, when President Biden makes the murder of three nine year old school kids In Tennessee a silly little political talking point, and his barely literate Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre can't get the silly details of who was killed in the biggest news event of the day; then, how any post about it be anything but reflexively silly in equal measure. and to the same degree of inflexion.
