The man on the left is Marty Golden --- the man on the right is Vito Bruno & Karim Elsammak is the beardless young fellow being pressed between them..... We know why Golden never said that he was an airline pilot --- and we have a pretty good idea why Vito Bruno never did either..... Yet again, what we don't know is why Elsammak says that he is.....
Here are some of the few facts that we do know:
Karim says that he graduated from Dyker "High School" in 2009 (except that "Dyker" is an intermediate school ["IS 201, Dyker Heights Intermediate School"].....
In passing, Karim has also mentioned that he graduated from a technical high school --- and presumably that was in 2013.....
Now here's the kicker, and where it gets sticky --- in order to become an "U.S. airline pilot," Karim Elsammak would have had to complete the following between 2013 and 2021:
1. Earn an FAA-approved bachelor's degree
2. Obtain a private pilot license
3. Acquire an instrument rating
4. Obtain a commercial pilot license
5. Get a flight instructor certificate
6. Obtain a multi-engine rating
7. Gain experience and flight hours [the total flight hours required by the FAA is 1,500]
8. Earn an airline transport pilot certification [An airline transport pilot (ATP) certification is the highest licensing the FAA issues. To earn this certification, pilots need more than the minimum requirement of 1,500 hours of flight experience. Pilots must also have specific flight hours logged, including pilot in command (PIC), nighttime flying and cross country PIC]
9. Interview for a position as an airline pilot with a U.S. airline
10. Be accepted for training and complete internal requirements of each airline
11. Complete all FAA, DHS, and other departmental security requirements

What we are seeing >>> now in three local elections in a row <<< is Republican-Conservative candidates and their campaigns in the Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights communities, and elsewhere, repeatedly lying about themselves and their opponents. Those candidates were Vito Bruno, then Brian Fox, and now include Karim Elsammak.
People need to ask these folks --- and the party leaderships that selected them --- Why all the lies and lying, when the candidates' being what they were (and in Karim's case "is"), and losing the way they have (and in Karim's case "will") should have been (and in Karim's case "be") enough of an embarrassment for any normal person or group of people ???
