Brian Fox has definitively disproved the now false adage >>> "There is no such thing as bad publicity".....
Here's how Fox tried to spin things a few hours ago [on Sunday evening, 3/27/2022]:
"It was great seeing everyone at the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Bay Ridge! It was an honor to march on behalf of the Verrazzano Republicans. Thank you Curtis Sliwa for marching with the club and having your continued support!"
One picture is worth a thousand words..... And this photo shouts "PATHETIC !!!" a thousand times over:
Since this is "for the record" --- what the pic shows is just six folks and a pooch at the Bay Ridge St. Patrick's Parade [only two of them are Verrazzano Republicans --- Brian Fox and one of the "Mikeys"]..... Most of the marchers behind the Verrazzano Republicans' banner are not in the Brooklyn GOP; they are Curtis Sliwa's Guardian Angels, making an appearance at the parade for their own purposes.
Fox absolutely doesn't get visuals and/or messaging one bit..... By posting this photograph, Brian Fox couldn't have hurt his club, and/or the Brooklyn GOP any more than if he posted one of the pix of his screwing the pooch at the end of the parade.

Karim had a much better look by marching with Nicole's group than marching with the Verrazzano pair and the Guardian Angels, neither Fox nor Elsammak did their campaigns much good by just marching and waving.
Even counting Sliwa's angels tagging along as a favor, there were less people at the Verrazzano Republicans' march event on Third Avenue than at the March meeting at the Schnitzel Haus.
Have the Verrazano Republicans become the local Chapter of the Angel Guardians?
Seeing the Republicans and Conservatives at the Bay Ridge St. Patricks Parade tells the whole story in a nutshell. It's time to roll the credits; when a movie is over do we really need to see it say "The End" before we all get up and leave?
The picture of at least a half dozen marchers including the former GOP candidate for Mayor is impressive.
Republicans marching at any St. Patrick parade is a joke. Look at a list of what the Brooklyn GOP ticket will look like in what are its 'stronger' districts in southern and southwest Brooklyn.
Look at all the Irish! Not even the guy who wanted to run in the 46th AD and obviously borrowed the name 'Brian Fox' but tells everybody that he's half Grrek and half Italian.
206, enough about Curtis Sliwa being a Republican; in 2017 he tried to completely undermine the GOP in NYC, and in 2013 he did little to help Joe Lhotta, a pure political hack and an admittedly poor choice to be the GOP nominee for mayor (twice appointed as MTA Chairman by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, once before and once after running for mayor on the GOP and Conservative Party lines).
In 2021 here's what Sliwa got as the GOP candidate for Mayor of NYC: 312,385 total votes or 27.76%.
In 2017 here's what Nicole Malliotakis got as the GOP candidate for Mayor of NYC with Sliwa actively trying to undermine her campaign: 316,947 total votes or 27.59%.
In 2013 here's what Joe Lhotta got as the GOP candidate for Mayor of NYC: 264,420 total votes or 24.31%

So in a nutshell Sliwa got a higher percentage of the vote than Malliotakis and Lhota..sliwa was a stronger GOP candidate with longer coat tails than lhota or malliotakis..
At least the dog is cute.
333, there is no 'stronger' candidate, and there are no coattails when none of them got close to a third of the vote.

Well, that's what the two GOP marchers in question, Brian Fox and Karim Elsammak, have said and done.....
Also, we sure hope that Brian Fox asked for permission from Jerry Kassar and Fran V-M before he let Curtis Sliwa march with Brian and Mikey behind the Verrazzano Reps banner.
Jerry and Fran's animus against Curtis is real.
On the other hand, if Brian is switching sides to the Eaton, Capano, and Catsimatidis faction in the Brooklyn and NYC GOP, then it all makes a lot more sense.

I see 6 morbidly out of shape people in that parade photo. 4 of them are Guardian Angels. The other 2 are Brian Fox and Michael Demartino Jr.
Nothing happens in the Gras roots GOP without Capanos blessing and that certainly includes Sliwa
