There is a clear pattern that has emerged when it comes to Brian Fox, the Brian Fox Campaign for City Council, and the "support" that Fox & Co. are getting from the Brooklyn GOP and the Conservative Party --- Let's keep it civil --- and we'll just say the reviews ain't great on all three counts
Some will clearly point the finger at Liam McCabe --- they would be off the mark.....
Some would prefer to blame Ted Ghorra --- again, way off the mark.....
The most astute out there would look in the direction of Jerry Kassar* and Fran V-M --- B-I-N-G-O !!!
Early on Sunday we posted the following comment:

RIGHT AFTER TELLING EVERYBODY THAT HE DID HIS JULY STROLL ON THIRD AVENUE IN THE DAYTIME INSTEAD OF IN THE EVENING --- BRIAN FOX DECIDED TO RECYCLE AN OLD ABC NEWS REPORT ABOUT SOME OBVIOUSLY VERY PERSONAL LOCAL STUFF AT THE NORTH END OF THIRD AVENUE IN BAY RIDGE TO TRY TO PROP UP HIS SAGGING CAMPAIGN IN THE FACE OF MOUNTING INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PROBLEMS WITHIN HIS CAMPAIGN AND AMONG HIS MANAGER(S)
BRIAN'S AND LIAM'S EARS WERE RINGING >>> "WHY HAVEN'T YOU USED THIS YET ?" <<< AND JUST GUESS WHO SAID THAT.....
"Brian Fox for City Council... [7/10/2021]... This is the result of the ridiculous policies pushed forward by the City Council, with unfortunately the full support of our very own Councilman.... Take Away and Cafe has been vandalized 4 times by the same suspect. Tying the hands of the police, and the lenient prosecution adopted in NY State, has turned our justice system into a revolving door.... As your councilman, I will fight with everything I have to reverse these policies, stop the reimagining of law enforcement, and not allow repeat offenders back on the streets without so much as a slap on the wrist."
The problem is that this was news more than two weeks ago [and the local flap goes back further than that]; and Fox doesn't even address the specifics of the case of the vandalism at the Take Away and Cafe in any way. He and his team just exploit the old news report by blaming it on some vague New York State "policies" and more vague local police inaction, with a lame attempt at trying to tie it to Councilman Brannan in some unexplained way.

* Jerry Kassar's playbook is the political version of what Wayne Woodrow Hayes used in football --- trying to move the nature of the game back to what it was before Knute Rockne and so many others embraced the forward pass (admittedly, with some success for Woody Hayes, much less so for Kassar).

Jokes about Justin Brannan's sagging 4th chin won't get anything done that's worth a farthing, or a fart for that matter.
As for deals to make Brian Fox the nominee, Justin Brannan wasn't any part of that --- As far as Kassar was concerned, it was all about having a GOP nominee in Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights that would be willing to campaign with the Conservative Party nominee for mayor, William Pepitone (just another Kassar move that hurts the GOP). Since, Teddy G. is clueless, and didn't want to really pick slates between the Sliwa and Matteo factions, he went along with Liam's compromise(d) slate candidate for Council, while nominally backing Sliwa for mayor in order to get Capano off the ballot. Now, let's see where that Rube Goldberg-concocted farming combine, flying machine, fish-canning factory ship and Zamboni ice-smoother lands in November. [BTW, it's being reported that Ghorra has invested in a company that is promising to deliver fresh corn and canned mackeral by air to any community that is near a frozen lake..... Whooooo ! Jeff Bezoz and Amazon better watch out; here comes Teddy with his new venture "Orinoco Flow" (cue Enya) "Fly away, fly away, fly away.... Fly away, fly away, fly away..." (Maybe that's really why Bezos just stepped down as CEO at the big "A" marketing and delivery company)].

Gale doing these posts trying to fool us is funny. Even Bill Pepitone don’t care whether a guy like Brian Fox with him or against him. It’s well known Ray and Georgia close friends of Justin and one hand wash the other. Duke Johnson close to conserve party and would’ve campaign with Pepitone. Duke at the least can raise some money unlike the palooka the BKGOP put up as a favor to Justin. Don’t think for a minute an old sly fox like Kassar didn’t notice. Ted ain’t got no input everybody knows that.

WHO CARES WHAT BILL PEPITONE THINKS ABOUT FOX, ANYBODY OR ANYTHING ELSE --- WHO CARES THAT SOME GUY NAMED DUKE JOHNSON IS "CLOSE TO THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY" (WHATEVER THAT MEANS) OR THAT SOMEBODY SAYS HE "CAN RAISE SOME MONEY" (WHAT AN OLD CHESTNUT THAT IS) --- LASTLY, WHO CARES WHAT "OLD SLY FOX" KASSAR THINKS, UNLESS A WEAKENED ANDREW CUOMO CAN PUT SOMETHING TOGETHER TO STOP THE COMING PERFECT STORM AGAINST THE GOP AND CONSERVATIVES ALL AROUND NY STATE IN REAPPORTIONMENT
After this election in 2021, the Conservatives and GOP will need to work a lot harder to get a lot less. Over the next ten years, the Democrats will finish taking over Queens, and the Democrats will take more and more of Staten Island, Brooklyn will be more like Manhattan and the Bronx mixed together than ever before.
As for Ray and Georgea working for Justin --- why would they: and how could they ???

The local GOP has no one since Marty lost. Back room deals with Rey and Georgia aren't necessary.
Vito Bruno almost beat Andrew Gounardes, Justin voted to defund the police and tweeted about it. Our neighborhoods have more garbage on the street than the Fresh Kills landfill. Ask Uncle Marty how much Duke Johnson raised for him. A deal was definitely made.
