Following some very serious charges of intimidation of a Brian Fox "CONSTITUENT" in a restaurant, we here at this blog have made a direct demand for some very real and important information about the alleged incident
This is the first time that this blog has tried a "Son of Sam" style direct and open appeal to one of the principals being covered in a breaking story --- in this instance the overture was made by us on the "Brian Fox for City Council" Facebook site --- and we hope for a direct and responsive reply
Here is exactly what and how we put it to Mr. Fox and/or his campaign folks:
"Galewyn Massey... >>> Mr. Fox, these are very serious charges indeed..... You can't just blithely make such claims without providing backup to your charges: 1) where did this alleged incident occur; 2) who was involved; 3) was the restaurant or its staff involved in any way; 4) were any formal complaints of any kind made at the time to either management or the police; and 5) when you said that you "...want to make it clear to the small businesses in my district that everyone is entitled to an opinion and noone [sic] should be attacked for supporting a candidate that vigorously supports the heart and soul of our community...." what exactly are you trying to say, and what are you trying to accomplish ????? What seems to have happened is someone got into an argument with her friends over Councilman Fatass and the low IQ amateurs over at Fox campaign misstated what happened. This could have been deliberate or accidental because one thing you get about his team as well as the candidate himself is that understanding meaning of words and property expressing thoughts in writing is a big challenge.
Wait one minute. Brian Fox has no 'constituents' because he's never been elected to anything and he represents nobody.

One wag has e-mailed us that Brian and Liam appear to have completely lost their grip after the double whammy of >>> first, the 4th of July firehouse fiasco; which was then immediately followed by the restaurant restroom caper. [The first mention of the restaurant harassment incident on this blog mentioned >>> THE CAPPUCCINO CAFE <<< We haven't seen that mentioned any place else; is that where it really happened ???]
Also, Brian Fox' use of that "constituents" line was jumped on almost simultaneously by the commenter above and by one of the RFBR McMahon's posting on the Brian Fox campaign FB page.
I'm sorry, but I don't get the big deal here. Isn't it obvious that this whole restaurant thing is a hoax?

After more than a day avoiding some simple questions about the very serious allegations he made against supporters of his opponent for their "accosting" "[his]constituents" --- and then, patently trying to change the subject away from that mess within and all over his campaign with his newest social media postings about organizing a desperate publicity stunt involving a public cleanup --- we confronted Mr. Fox on his campaign's Facebook page about all of it, as follows:

One of the more recent of these involved soliciting local public servants to break the law and aid in his campaign, while they were obviously at their place of work and on the public payroll. Even more recently, it looks like Brian Fox was sounding a false alarm by alleging that some of his opponent's supporters had possibly broken the law and created a disturbance st a Bay Ridge restaurant. Based on Fox's failure to respond to inquiries about the incident. and since Fox is now trying to impede the investigation, one has to suspect him of making a false report and perpetrating a hoax in the first place. --- GM [JPMcC]"

Fox has to answer to the voters of the 38th district. Not some blogger from out of town.
Wrongo, 241! Fox answers to nobody except for Gail, because nobody but Gail cares one way or the other about him. So, whether your focus is on some off the wall 38th District where Brian Fox isn't running, or the 43rd where he is, no voters in either place cares about him at all.
