"Brian Fox for City Council is in Dyker Heights... [July 4, 2021] at 2:54 PM... Although it is Independence Day, I made sure to stop by engine 284, ladder 149 in Dyker Heights to speak to some of our courageous fire fighters. "I grew up in Bay Ridge, but I moved to Staten Island last year because frankly I just couldn't keep living here any longer," I was heartbreakingly told. Stories like this are tragically not rare within the area and are part of the reason why I decided to run for City Council.... Before I head out I curiously asked these gentlemen how many times has Councilman Brannon come to visit you and see what's on all of your minds. To no surprise there was a brief pause and they all said " never." God bless America and God bless the men and women of the New York City Fire Department (FDNY)...."
Quick --- somebody tell us what language this is supposed to be --- IT SURE AIN'T THE KING'S ENGLISH..... We had to give up counting the errors of grammar and syntax in those two short paragraphs by Mr. Fox.....

Gail, you missed such a big story here that it could have been your biggest scoop ever.
While you were getting all pissy about Brian Fox's English usage and grammar, you missed his coming out confession that a fireman in Dyker Heights broke his heart by leaving Bay Ridge and moving to Staten Island. Brian went so far as to say it was a personal tragedy, and he even asked if the guy had been seeing Justin lately.

The only thing like what Joseph Conrad experienced (by adopting English in Britain and making it his metier) would be like learning how to communicate in the suburbs, let's say Long Island or New Jersey, and then transplanting anywhere into Brooklyn and trying to sound like Marty Markowitz, or into Bay Ridge and trying to sound like Marty Golden.

Here's what happened: Brian Fox went to a local firehouse and got all the firefighters to pose with him while he was holding his campaign literature. Then the geniuses on Brian's "social media team" tagged the official FDNY accounts so the FDNY press people saw it immediately and went insane. Then the Firefighters' unions got involved, and apparently it became a huge deal, because under the law, firefighters are not allowed to do anything political while on-duty and/or in the firehouse.
I will follow up on this to see who needs to fall on his sword (in addition to Liam, whose goose should be cooked by this).

Running somebody like Fox is part of a delicate power sharing arrangement between the various Marty has beens and toupee. Toupee gets to be the official leader and brag about how he met Don Jr. a few years ago but gets to do nothing else, Rae Rae parks his big arse earning 150k at the BOE and tells toupee what to do while hiring his idiot friends to do jobs that they actually find difficult. Simon gets around $40,000 a year to literally do nothing but attend a ten minute meeting every month. Liam gets all the candidates one more clueless than the next as he collects whatever money they can raise. John waits in line as Marty promises to get him something “better”.

But since Brian Fox chose to make such serious charges, we here had to do our part to bring some sanity and clarity to the discussion. So, we in essence asked Mr. Fox for a Bill of Particulars for the outlandish charges in the statement that he made.

Fox is a waste of a candidate, just like when the GOP ran Saperstein, Denaro, Lilikakis, etc etc etc - they were wrong for the Districts they ran in - and the only reason they got the nod, was so Golden, Kassar and now Ghorra could take their money and use it for their own candidates. Fox is a nobody - nobody ever heard of him, he was never involved in anything and has no personality. He is the WRONG candidate for any race.
Toupee man is an absolute waste of life. Look at the Financial records? The Brooklyn GOP has $ 0......he even took back money he "loaned" to the County. He has no skin in the game.
