The deconstructed holiday of the signing of the Declaration of Independence

OUR INDEPENDENCE DAY MESSAGE.....

The Declaration of Independence, approved by delegates of twelve of the thirteen British colonies in North America meeting in Philadelphia, was probably first signed on July 4th 1776;  and both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams maintain that there was a formal signing ceremony on that date  ---  and that document probably was signed by thirty-four delegates, with New York abstaining

On July 19th 1776, a resolution by the Continental Congress called for a new "engrossed" document to be created to reflect the delayed approval of the Declaration of Independence of July 4th by the delegates from the New York colony.  On August 2, 1776, the document that has been presented to the public ever since as the Declaration of Independence of July 4, 1776 was signed by fifty-six members of the Continental Congress  ---  several of whom were not delegates in Philadelphia on July 4th, 1776, or even authorized by their colonies to act as delegates on July 4th

Today is July 4th  ---  for most of the history of these United States  ---  July 4th was celebrated as "Independence Day" and the nation's birthday

Tomorrow, July 5, 2021, is the national holiday  >>>  Independence Day <<<  for the year 2021  ---  for many years now, "Independence Day" has been occasionally officially detached from July 4th in order to create a three-day weekend  ---  sometimes the holiday is July 3rd, others July 5th

How many people living in the U.S.A. know or care about any of that ???

One of the radical left's best weapons is "deracination"  ---   detaching us from our history.....  Another is "deconstruction"  ---  detaching words from their traditional meanings.....  They are using both on our traditional celebration of  "Independence Day".....

The radical left is winning; and presently, we are [about to be/ being] routed.....
