Ads for "Restaurant Week" --- what will Brian Fox and his campaigb brain trust try next ???

Look --- I see where these guys are going.....

It starts with a small ad for "Restaurant Week"

>>>  BUT THEN THIS <<<

Picture a bunch of teenaged kids, gathered as a chorus on top of McKinley Park hill or just below the west-facing crest of the hill in Owl's Head Park (mixed boys and girls, and preferably of mixed races and ethnicities to reflect the >>> New <<<  Bay Ridge)  ---  [Closeup on  Brian Fox, who starts]:  "I'd like to teach the world to sing...."  ---  [Without missing a beat,  Brian is then joined by the girl voices, with a pan shot of the girl singers]: "...  in perfect harmony....  I'd like to hold it in my arms...  and keep it company..."  [Then switch to a pan shot of the guys singing]: "... I'd like to buy the world a Coke..   And keep it company...  That's the real thing...  Coke is... That's the real thing...  Coke is... [Repeat to fade]  ---  [Cut to a repeat closeup of Brian Fox, breaking into a big smile, with a smear of white powder under his nose, speaking not singing]:  "Remember, Coke IS the real thing..."

Obviously, when Liam and Christine get the dogs fed and put the baby down for a few hours of sleep and quiet, they breakout the DVDs of the full series of "Mad Men".....

Liam repeating to himself maniacally:  "They want good campaign ideas;  I'll show them good campaign ideas."  [A little bell sounds in the background] Liam suddenly shouts: "Christine, put on the last episode and advance it to the finale, that's my favorite part."

Gail, you messed up again.
Whoever wrote this about Brian singing diversity using the Coke song doesn't even read this blog, or else they would know that Brian Fox said that he wants to 'make Bay Ridge white again'.

Your political observations should have stopped at the title about ads for restaurant week.

But maybe Brian should look into a career in singing, he sure don't got one in politics.

RESPONSE: THE "THIS AIN'T THE NATIONAL LAMPOON" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 7:35 AM" & "... AT 8:59 AM"

WE COMPLETELY AGREE THAT THE ONLY POLITICALLY RELEVANT NEWS IN THE MAIN POST ABOVE WAS THE BIT ABOUT THE BRIAN FOX CAMPAIGN RUNNING AN AD FOR RESTAURANT WEEK ON HIS CAMPAIGN'S SOCIAL MEDIA PAGE

WE WEREN'T SERIOUSLY SUGGESTING THAT LIAM WAS GOING TO HAVE BRIAN FOX BE PART OF A " 'TEACH THE WORLD TO SING' --- 'COKE'S THE REAL THING' ALONG WITH HILLTOP SINGERS" KIND OF AD >>> THAT WAS ALL A SEND-UP

SO ANY APPARENT INCONSISTENCIES WITH PRIOR STUFF ON THIS BLOG WAS UNINTENTIONAL --- BUT IF YOU PREFER, IT WAS INTENTIONAL AND A SUBTLE PART OF THE JOKE --- EITHER WORKS FOR US, YOU PICK WHICHEVER EXPLANATION CALMS YOU DOWN THE MOST

Of course, a subtler part of the joke was about Liam and Christine, and about the dogs, the baby, and having the complete series of "Mad Men" on DVD.

So Liam is still living with his mother in law. How can a 45 year old man be taken seriously in politics with that living situation

“Little hands” is back on this blog as noticed by his diatribes against Liam and Nick. I guess that deputy mayor gig ain’t looking like such a lock no more.

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "BIG MAN WITH THE BIG NECK ANNOUNCES 'AIR DROPS' OF THE BIG GUNS" EDITION

WITH LITTLE MORE FANFARE THAT A RATHER TIMID-SOUNDING/LOOKING FACEBOOK POSTING, BRIAN FOX TELLS THE WORLD THAT HIS CAMPAIGN IS FINALLY IN HIGH GEAR --- "LAWN SIGNS ARE BEING DROPPED IN DAILY!"

At last, the weather has cleared and the Army Air Force's C-46 Commandos and C-47 Dakotas are dropping vital supplies to the surrounded 101st Airborne guys at Bastogne.....

Here, we thought that Liam and Brian were about to teach the world to sing, but instead they were doing their version of Gen. George S. Patton's "good weather prayer" so the air corps could do its thing in advance of Patton's leading his Third Army to relieve the "Battling Bastards of Bastogne" (sometimes referred to as "The battered bastards of Bastogne).

That sure seems like what Brian Fox wants everybody to think as he announced the arrival of lawn signs for his long-beleaguered campaign for the City Council. It's like he's telling everybody >>> "Look out, the big guns are now here at long last, they were airlifted in, and now the battle will go our way for a change".....

Now, THAT'S ADVERTISING the Brian Fox and Liam McCabe way.....

REPONSE: THE "MAYBE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 9:15 PM"

THE MOST RECENT POSTING BY BRIAN FOX WAS NOT NECESSARY TO GET US TALKING ABOUT WHAT A LOUSY CANDIDATE BRIAN FOX IS, WHAT A LOUSY CAMPAIGN HE'S GOT GOING, OR WHAT A BUNCH OF CLOWNS ARE ADVISING AND/OR CONSULTING AND/OR DOING WHATEVER OTHER PUPPETEERING ACTIVITIES ARE IN PLAY WITH THE BRIAN FOX CAMPAIGN TO MAKE IT WHAT IT IS

THIS BLOG HAS LARGELY BEEN A ONE TRICK PONY ABOUT BRIAN FOX AND HIS CAMPAIGN FOR SOME TIME NOW --- TOO BAD OUR LITTLE PONY, BRIAN FOX, CAN'T DO ANY GOOD TRICKS --- AND NEITHER CAN ANY OF THE RIDERS AND/OR TRAINERS OF OUR LITTLE PONY

"Lawn signs are being dropped in daily!" --- with war cries like that, how can anybody stay away from rallying to this man and all that he stands for.....

I say fox gets 15% and Sliwa 30%. Great job toupee man!

Anonymous said...

15% is impossibly low for Fox or any other Republican and Conservative Party candidate running in the 43rd Council District. I would estimate that 30% would be the low end and 40% the high end of expectations for Fox in 2021, good campaign, bad campaign, or no campaign.

Despite his fan boys posting on this blog, Brannan is very unpopular more unpopular and less liked than Andrew Gounardes. But Brannan does not have a real opponent. Brian hasn't even qualified for matching funds yet. I don't know how many lawn signs are getting "dropped in daily" but maybe for now buy a few dozen less lawn signs and taking that money and getting one of these kids from a community college writing workshop to proof read his posts might not be a bad idea.

Will there be a mandatory hand recount in the Democrat mayoral primary vote?

The comments above appear to be from the loser squad. People who already lost either in primary or electipns.

What, huh, but, who, heh, hmmm, what?

Fox does better than Q

Now, that's DELUSIONAL, and funny too.

Marty is already busy finding Ted’s replacement. Ted is panicking having fundraisers at his house for people who don’t really care or in position to save him. Nicole furious with Ted for misleading her about Fox.

Is 318 nick still trying to portray that Nicole gives him the time of day???

Who thinks that anybody will care anything about Nicole Malliotakis after 2022? I see Staten Island with two Members of Congress and neither of them will be Nicole.

The actual fiscal year 2021 budget cut to NYPD’s City-funded expenditures was $322 million, a far cry from the advertised $1 billion
