Will somebody clear this up --- it seems that Brian Fox says that Curtis Sliwa is out there campaigning for him

Brian Fox takes credit for prayer vigil at Saint Athanasius.....

The Fox campaign shows multiple pictures of GOP Mayoral aspirant Curtis Sliwa on the campaign trail in Bay Ridge and Bensonhurst  with the Brian Fox, the GOP candidate for City Council

Even though he might appear to be throwing his own candidate for mayor, Fernando Mateo, under the bus  ---  maybe, just maybe, Liam McCabe has deftly positioned his candidate in the 43rd Council District, Brian Fox, to draft off any energy that he can pull from the Sliwa campaign in Southwest Brooklyn

If nothing else, with these shenannigans Liam is taking a victory lap around a certain somebody, who claims to be a top operator for Curtis Sliwa.

However, the real winner might be John Quaglione.  John Q seems to be happy to go along for the Brian Fox-Curtis Sliwa ride, since they are both the formally endorsed candidates of the Brooklyn GOP.  Without doing very much, his pictures keep popping up with Q's frequent appearances on the 2021 campaign scene.

The other guy from the 2017 field for City Council is left getting his AH-HAHAHAHAHAHAs the old fashioned way, all by himself.....

Gail, maybe if you stop censoring that 'certain somebody' then he can take credit for running the Brian Fox campaign.

Brian needs a map. St Athanasius Church is in the 47th councilmanic District

Sliwa is popular in Bay Ridge. Mateo has been outfoxed.

Why didn't somebody tip off Brian Fox about: a) the boundaries of his district; and b) the geographical location of Saint A's vis a vis the boundaries of the 43rd Council District? Specifically, why didn't either Liam or Q tip Brian off about this?

1:04 a/k/a Justin seems to be upset at all the street campaigning the Fox operation is conducting. People as obese as Justin will always remain lockdown patriots.

I heard Brian likes to go skiing and loves the snow. If you know what I mean......

Fox is being played. Pro tip if you have no primary and still haven't gotten 75 local people to give you a couple of dollars to qualify for matching funds, you've been lied to. Great new article in the Brooklyn Eagle came out this weekend by another Brooklyn Republican mentioning about the destruction of whats left of the Brooklyn GOP.

1054, your comment is almost all fake news.
First, as I said before on this blog many times, I am not Justin, I never have been, and I don't want to be; second, I don't know if I said this before, but I don't plan to vote for Justin Brannan anytime during this 2021 election cycle; and third, '... all the street campaigning the Fox operation is conducting....' is as ineffective as everything else in the Brian Fox campaign for City Council so far. There hasn't been a single genuine conservative position on any subject that has been advanced with any depth or thoughtfulness --- including the apparent opposition to anti-religious vandalism and violence at an event outside the district this past weekend. Appearing at that event smacked of rank opportunism, and not genuine concern for community interest in an area not far from the Council District, but not in the Council District.

RESPONSE: THE "NOT A RIPPLE" EDITION

TO: ALL THE COMMENTERS ABOVE

IT'S ONLY AN EPI-EVENT INSIDE SOME OF THE OTHER EVENTS GOING ON, BUT.....
THE >>> BROOKLYN PAPER'S <<< COVERAGE OF FRIDAY'S "SPONTANEOUS" COMMUNITY DEMONSTRATION AROUND THE SITE OF THE VERY RECENT ACT OF ANTI-CATHOLIC VIOLENCE AT SAINT ATHANASIUS CHURCH
--- WHICH DESTRUCTIVE AND THREATENING ACT HAD OCCURRED MUCH EARLIER ON FRIDAY --- MADE NO MENTION OF ANY POLITICAL PEOPLE HAVING BEEN INVOLVED OR EVEN BEING PRESENT AT THE EVENT THAT HAD BROUGHT OUT HUNDREDS OF THE LOCAL PARISHERS OF SAINT ATHANASIUS AND OTHER INTERETED MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY >>> AND [BASED ON SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS BY CERTAIN POLITICIANS] SOME POLITICAL TYPES THAT GOT TIPPED-OFF BY SOMEBODY TO BE THERE <<<

THAT CERTAINLY MAKES THOSE SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS OF ANY POLITICIANS AND OR SUPPORTERS, LIKE BRIAN FOX AN/OR HIS CAMPAIGN, LOOK ALL-THE-MORE FAKE AND ESPLOITIVE OF THE OPPORTUNITY PRESENTED BY THE IMMEDIATE CIRCUMSTANCE OF THE VANDALISM TO THE CRUCIFIX AT SAINT A's --- WITHOUT ANY REFERENCE TO THE MORAL PRINCIPALS VIOLATED IN THIS PARTICULAR ANTI-CATHOLIC ACT OR IN SUPPORT OF ANY PARTICULAR BROADER PLAN TO REMEDY THE DIRE EMERGEANT PROBLEM OF ANTI-RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY WITHIN OUR BROADER BROOKLYN COMMUNITY.....

*** IT IS INTERESTING THAT JOHN QUAGLIONE >>> WAS MENTIOND AND QUOTED <<< IN THE BROOKLYN PAPER'S ARTICLE --- BUT THAT WAS ONLY IN HIS CAPACITY AS A SPOKESPERSON FOR THE ROMAN CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF BROOKLYN & QUEENS ***

The Article by Meaghan McGoldrick in the Brooklyn Paper only showed what a little part Fox' and Sliwa's participation in the multiple demonstrations around Bay Parkway and Sixty-first Street really were.

If Liam is the mastermind behind Fernando Mateo's campaign why is Brian Fox running around with Curtis Sleery?

Anonymous said...

1:22 This is all part of the power share organized in party. Liam gets to have all the candidates and scrap up whatever money they can raise to pay him for his services. Remember Ted at first made deal with Mateo people for support that is how Liam get the connection. Georgina and Rae get to be the real ones who is running the party and make sure no real candidates who can be a threat to Democrat like there buddy JB are picked to run for offices. Teddy gets to bragging about being the chairman of a Republican party even though Georgina and Rae are his supervisor and Gerrie is his boss. They all pat each other on backs for job well done and makes big speeches in front board of election employees. Until someone like Avery comes along and kicks they ass in court.

Avery Pereira is working on a power play with Liam to take over the Party from Ted. It will be a blood bath and no one will be spared.

2:43 PM why do you keep typing Rae when you know it's Ray?

Fernando Mateo? Was he on love boat?

Anonymous said...

No, he was the inspiration for the ABBA hit 'Fernando' !

'... There was something in the air that night
The stars were bright, Fernando
They were shining there for you and me
For liberty, Fernando
Though I never thought that we could lose
There's no regret
If I had to do the same again
I would, my friend, Fernando...'

RESPONSE: THE "WHEN IS THE OBVIOUS NOT OBVIOUS ???" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 8:24 AM"

WITHOUT DELVING TOO DEEPLY INTO THESE MATTERS, OUR RESEARCH INDICATES THAT AT ABOUT 8:24 AM, A COMMENTER ON THIS BLOG REPORTED THAT ANDREW GIULIANI HAD ANNOUNCED THAT HE WAS RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR --- FURTHERMORE, THERE IS SOME INDICATION THAT THE GIUIANI ANNOUNCEMENT HAD BEEN MADE ONLY TWENTY-TWO MINUTES EARLIER AT APPROXIMATELY 8:00 AM THIS MORNING --- THIS BLOG'S FACT-CHECKING DEPARTMENT WAS OUT LATE LAST NIGHT AND THE ITEM WAS ONLY VERIFIED BY THIS BLOG AT NOON TODAY --- THIS BLOG IS COVERING THE STORY SOLELY BECAUSE ANDREW GIULIANI IS A REPUBLICAN AND IT IS NEWSWORTHY.....

All our fact-checking indicates that the Giuliani announcement had been leaked early enough for the NY Post to have published the story about Andrew Giuliani's announcement that he was running for governor of NYS against the other "Andrew" at 6:00 AM this morning.

For those using stopwatches that means this comment is six-and-a-half hours behind that NY Post report, and the published comment immediately above above was about two-and-a-half hours behind.

UPDATE & BACKFILL; AND A FURTHER RESPONSE: THE "MATHEMATICAL VIEW ABOUT SOME OF OUR COMMENTER'S COMMENTS" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 8:24 AM" & "... AT 12:22 PM"

YOUR LATER COMMENT NEEDED SOME SERIOUS FACT CHECKING --- IT CONTAINS A SIGNIFICANT MATHEMATICAL MISCALCULATION

For those using stopwatches, this means that, taken as a whole, you were both behind and inaccurate in just about everything that you had to say in your two comments above.

I've concluded that there IS no "Brian Fox." It's some guy doing an acting gig.

8:33, he already insulted Italians and Irish. Who's up next?

Listening to the news today and Guiliani lawyers are in court arguing that "Trial by Combat" is not tied to the Capitol riots. My point is whether its Luthman or Rudy saying that phrase bad things follow.

For everybody keeping score at home
Brian Fox has now insulted
- Italians
- The Irish
- Arabs
- Muslims
- Palestinianes

Who's up next?
