The only really GOP oriented material there is mostly posted by the mostly Staten Island officeholders Malliotakis and Tannousis --- the only 2021 candidate shown was some clown in a red beret --- and there's not a single thing there to make anybody want to join the Brooklyn GOP, or to volunteer to do anything or make any donation to the Republican Party or any of its candidates
Lastly, look at the [other ???] Brooklyn GOP Facebook page [https://www.facebook.com/BklynGOP/?ref=page_internal] there is much more there, but the visuals are so much worse --- does Ted Ghorra really think that pictures of himself at Mar-a-Lago is what will generate a ground swell of support for the Brooklyn Republican Party or his continuing as its chairman ????? Even worse, were the dozen or so pictures of mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa in his red beret --- that only showed that this candidate for Mayor of NYC likes to wear silly hats, and that next to nobody can be seen at or near any of his events
This is how the Brooklyn GOP wants to present the local Republican Party to everybody looking for it on the internet --- that prompts only one question right now >>> WHY ?????

The red-behatted, blue-suited Sliwa looked very silly "campaigning" in front of Foodtown today.
The photographs remind me of the Mos Eisley cantina scene in Star Wars. A dimly-lit tavern of freaks and Aqualish thugs. A wretched hive of scum and villainy. All that pro-cop and anti-BLM stuff was used against State Senator Andrew Gounardes in 2020, and he improved his margin of victory since 2018. IN 2021 Councilman Justin Brannan will have about the same margin of victory as Gounardes, but in a much smaller district with a lower total vote.

The actual reduction in funds in this fiscal year for the NYPD operating and capital budgets was under half-a-billion dollars..... That was in line with, and actually less, than the cuts made in ALL CITY AGENCIES due to the shortfall of revenue due to COVID-19.
People like Brian Fox and his crew have no legs on this issue, because the real facts don't back up their arguments. They are so screwed up, now they're even arguing that only "... some people want police...." I was just talking to a long ago Conservative Party activist from Brooklyn, he is retired and walked away from politics a long time ago. He says, "I left it all when I left Brooklyn almost 25 years ago." He thinks that he made a bad choice staying in NYC back then, but now he thinks he'll stick it out to the bitter end. He's now living in the sovereign state of Southern Staten Island, where the "Doctrine of Nullification" is still alive and well. He also thinks that it just feels like another outpost under siege even though he's almost in the Amboys at the southernmost point of NYC and NYS called "South Point."
The people who moved out of Bay Ridge 25 years ago because it became "too liberal" are the people Brian Fox needs to focus on.
