"A campaign volunteer for Brooklyn state Senate wannabe Vito Bruno has quoted Hitler and Mussolini and posted numerous anti-Semitic messages on his Twitter account.... 'Hitler was right then, and it applies today. As he said in his book he didn’t hate the Jewish religion, he hated communism,' Raymond Ranaletta wrote Tuesday, including a picture of the infamously anti-Semitic dictator and a swastika in the tweet...."

Vito Bruno's campaign response was reported as this:
".... Bruno’s spokesman Nick Chambles said Ranaletta 'volunteered a few times,' adding he hadn’t seen him in 'weeks.' The campaign appeared to unfollow Ranaletta on Twitter after it was contacted by the Daily News...."
We get it, what Nick had to say made this into a shambles; however, Nick's name is Chamberas not "Chambles" --- or is it "Chambers," as in rooms or compartments.....
Vito Bruno was also given an opportunity to speak for himself, and he said that: “Anti-Semitism has no place in our society and I unequivocally condemn these tweets. This individual is not on my campaign payroll and does not represent my views. Period....”
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Gounardes said in a statement: “We’re shocked and disgusted, though sadly not surprised, that this is the kind of person Vito Bruno surrounds himself with and the kind of judgment he exhibits....”
The Daily News article by Shant Shahrigian also noted that >>> "Bruno is running as a Republican against state Sen. Andrew Gounardes, a Democrat, in the November election to rep a swath of South Brooklyn including Bay Ridge and Bensonhurst. Bay Ridge saw tense exchanges between “Blue Lives Matter” activists and counter-protesters over the summer....";
and that >>> ".... Ranaletta proudly showed his connection to Bruno — a former nightclub owner whose past includes since-denied claims of paying off cops and supplying celebrities with drugs — by tweeting pictures of himself campaigning, with one image that appears to show Ranaletta alongside the candidate...."

When it came to the most recent Daily News article about Vito Bruno and his key man, Raymond Renaletto >>> we here at "The Brooklyn & Staten Island Independent GOP Fountainhead" were neither surprised nor shocked. What was surprising was how a campaign spokesperson like "Nick Chambles" thought that an answer like "It wasn't my turn to watch him...." was anywhere close to where it needed to be --- actually, Vito Bruno did a much better job of it all by himself.
With respect to Mr. Renaletto, his extremism was very well known by/to Republicans and Conservatives for quite a while. Why he was allowed into both the Vito Bruno and Nicole Malliotakis campaigns earlier this year is inexplicable. Probably, the Brooklyn GOP was so strapped for warm-bodied volunteers that anybody with a pulse looked good, regardless of whose pictures were on the walls or in the social media posts of those volunteers as their heroes.
All of us know Raymond Ranalatto was a liability yet Nick Chambles allowed Raymond to work his way up the ranks of the serpentine and secretive Bruno campaign to become his second in command!! Now the poor kid makes one mistake about Hitler and the Bruno Campaign tosses him under the boat in the tabloids. Bruno should be a Man and give Ranalatto a second chance. We need him to win ! He works harder than all of us including Vito the canddiate!
