This very late-breaking story.... Well, it appeared in October 2019..... It's new and fresh and challenging

Recently one of our regular readers sent me this link:
[http://www.star-revue.com/there-are-no-young-republicans-in-brooklyn-by-brett-yates/#sthash.imb4AY9M.XcF3x7e3.dpbs],  which keyed-in to an article in something called  "The Red Hook Review" by somebody named Brett Yates with this quite provocative title:  "THERE ARE NO YOUNG REPUBLICANS IN BROOKLYN"

AS A RESULT OF READING THIS ARTICLE, NOW I'M PREPARED TO ANSWER THIS AS YET UNASKED QUESTION:  "WHERE IS JONATHAN JUDGE ???"    [No, he is not in the New Jersey Meadowlands coaching the NY Football Giants.....]

Last night was Burns Night around the world  ---  and in among the verses of "To a Haggis,"  "To the Lads" and "To the Lassies," several hoistings of copiously filled quaichs of single malt,  and finally some recited or sung choruses of "Auld Lang Syne"   ---  well might have been somebody reciting "To A Louse, On Seeing One on a Lady's Bonnet at Church, which is a 1786 Scots language poem by Robert Burns whose final verse is always relevant to us all:

"Oh, would some Power give us the gift
To see ourselves as others see us!
It would from many a blunder free us,And foolish notion:
What airs in dress and gait would leave us,
And even devotion!"
[Mostly an attempt at an English translation of the original Scots]

That is the main reason why it is important to read Mr. Yates' article, cited above and below.  He was covering something called the BYRC’s #NextGenGOP Forum at the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce in Midtown Manhattan, which was held back in October.

The piece starts off benignly enough with this:  "What do Alex P. Keaton, Carlton Banks, and Patrick Bateman all have in common? They’re all Young Republicans. All of them are also fictional....   In the real world, in 2019, conservatives below retirement age are sometimes harder to come by, especially in Brooklyn’s hipper enclaves. I live in gentrifying Bushwick, where everyone I meet is a 27-year-old tattooed graphic designer, and if any of them voted for Donald Trump, they sure aren’t saying so. That’s not to say they’re all socialist firebrands, but a certain cultural liberalism keeps them out of the hands of the GOP...."  (See "THERE ARE NO YOUNG REPUBLICANS IN BROOKLYN"   by Brett Yates, 10/24/19,  The Red Hook Star * Review/  Politics   [http://www.star-revue.com/there-are-no-young-republicans-in-brooklyn-by-brett-yates/#sthash.imb4AY9M.KdRSrx1I.dpbs]).

Here is the Bushwick author's main point  ---  ".... In short, [the GOP and its Young Republicans] must use new tactics of persuasion to sell its existing politics....   Apparently, Republican strategists’ lack of a comprehensive plan for the American inner city registers as a gaping hole most of all to the strategists themselves, who, at the #NextGenGOP Forum, worried that the party would be “relegated to the ash heap of history” as rural areas continue to lose population. They believe that Republican politicians won’t retool their approach until they’ve suffered a devastating loss on the national stage in 2020 or 2024."

So, who is feeding Mr. Yates all that stuff on behalf of the so-called BYRC’s #NextGenGOP Forum ???

Well, Brett Yates says it is none other than our old friend, Jonathan Judge,  who was called the "Moderator" of the event,  and described as a former BYRC president.

There is zero young Republican club in Brooklyn. Their so called President lives on Staten Island and is like a Liam Jr. trying to pass himself off as a political consultant. He is also rabidly NEVER TRUMP which explains why he can't get anyone to the meetings besides himself and a couple of people from Manhattan some of whom look like they were there when Ike was first nominated.

Jonathan Judge is back !!

Years ago, when Judgey-wudgey was a nuisance to friend and foe alike, he got knocked off the ballot in his home precinct for county committee, for lack of signatures. Eaton's people weren't certain they'd knock him off, so they filed a write-in petition against him for county committee in that same district, before it was clear he'd be removed from the ballot. All Judge had to do was take the elevator to his building lobby, and vote for himself. One vote would have won. So of course, he didn't (nor did his parents or friends or any of the dozen Repubs in his building) and Judge never served on county committee again.

jonathan judge is coming in for the big win.

Young Republicans who lie about existing. Why do Republicans always lie? From Alf Landon to Trump.

Anonymous said...

was alf landon on bonanza

Are Liam and JQ all that different? One sees Bay Ridge in terms of its graffiti and the other in terms of outdated signs. Both agree that crime is caused by bail reform. Both want to return to the days when there was no crime, no graffiti and all the store signs were up to date, because that would be like heaven on earth

Where is Alf ?

10:38 Justin and Eugene really need to get some new hobbies rather than trolling a GOP Blog.

Anonymous said...

Judge is not his real name.

Anonymous said...

Jonathan Judge for Senate!

Anonymous said...

Is Alf Landon a Young Republican or an 'Alien Life Form'; and is there any difference.

Anonymous said...

Jonathan Judge is a not very Young not very Republican Alien Life Form.

Is it true Jonathan Judge called the Fire Dept when the State YRs were voting to suspend him (for endorsing Democrat Speaker Shelly Silver's City Council candidate) after he got knocked off the ballot for stupidity/laziness/not having enough signatures? He wanted firefighters to clear the room, saying it exceeded the maximum number of people permitted by the buildings dept.

Anonymous said...

His real name is Jacob Yavanilskowitz

If Judge is not very republican than he should fit right in with the other self hating republican losers on this crappy blog.

Just a few years ago, Judge was lined up against Eaton, O'Brien, Golden, Clorinda and a few others like Gallo and Berardelli; but on Judge's side were Lucretia, Arnaldo, Nocera and the BYRs.

Eaton & Company wound up playing the windshield, and Judge & Company the bug.

Nonetheless, Judge's'Atlas Shrugs...' blog was the first to point out the corrupt connection between the Brooklyn GOP and Conservative Party leadership, and the Cathedral Club.

Jonathan Judge is as welcome as a ginger-haired boy, because JJ is a ginger-haired boy.

Judge and Nicole may be of kindred spirit.

11:31 is a pathological liar who has unlimited amount of time to make false statements. And this blog condones that.

Who organized and raised money to create a thriving Young Republicans? Jonathan Judge.

Who fielded candidates for public office in the Brooklyn GOP? Jonathan Judge.

Who could have brought John Quaglione over the finish line for the victory he deserved? Jonathan Judge.

Who can bring back the GOP to it's glory days? Jonathan Judge.

The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce knows a brilliant professional when they see one. That's what they do. Good luck to Mr. Judge.

11:31 is correct. 8:55

Judge never collected more than a dozen signatures in his life. Why do you think they so easily knocked him off the ballot?

Anonymous said...

I'm thinking that somebody named Jonathan Judge has delusions of adequacy.

What about his secret insider on the KCRP Executive Committee, who happened to give JJ a bunch of worthless invalid signatures because of a 'technical glitch,' failing to properly re-register after a change of address.

Some 'technical glitch'!

10:34 is so creative making up fake details of events so small that it would be truly impossible to fact check. I've been following Jonathan Judge for a decade and he has a big vision for the strategy and organization the Brooklyn GOP has been lacking. Judge will have an impact that will change the Kings County GOP for decades.

J.J. Judge has the technology skills to bring the GOP in New York into the place it belongs. The base is here. Now Judge is near.

Anonymous said...

Judge would never consider dabbling in a local race for Goldens seat. He spent a small amount of time on that 10 years ago.

Anonymous said...

1147, the only person following JJ for a decade is JJ.

JJ never had any strategy and organizational plan for the Brooklyn GOP, whether it has been lacking elsewhere in the party or not. And what technology skills does JJ have that are possibly going to make up for the fact that JJ doesn't do any heavy lifting literally or figuratively. Obviously a clipboard and Republican petitioning pages are much too heavy for him to lift.

JJ is a bilious pontificator and a platitudinous prevaricator, but he does make most of us laugh when he does occasionally show up pretending to be Joseph in his amazing technicolor dreamcoat.

The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce honored Judge. Looks like Judge has experience that the GOP needs.

Anonymous said...

Justin get off the GOP blog. Isn’t there a constituent somewhere needing to be ignored?

Anonymous said...

Just three or four questions for JJ:

Other than drinking free booze and eating free food, getting pictures taken with Democratic office holders and admitted SEC super-fraudsters, and intensely self-promoting, what does JJ actually do for a living?

Does JJ have any real friends anymore?

Does JJ still live in mom and dad's apartment?

How did the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce 'honor' JJ exactly?

Anonymous said...

Let's not forget Jonathan's political Mom, whose ineptitude got him knocked off the ballot, and whose family is still talked about in that murder case where the college kid was in her house one night and found dead near her driveway the next morning.

oh boy

A lot of the people posting on this site are degenerates. I think a lot of them became Republicans trying to be a big fish in a big pond and just went nuts when they realized they were goldfish.

Anonymous said...

Forget all the crap, when is Liam's big announcement supposed to be again, everybody can use a good laugh.

Anonymous said...

the laugh is on you 6:09

Anonymous said...

Jonathan Judge has always been a waste of life. He vanished for years and now is the "grand mesiah. He MUST be the one posting about how great he is, because nobody else would.

Anonymous said...

Underestimate Judge and you'll see the result.

Anonymous said...

The past is prologue, so it's difficult to 'underestimate Judge'; and JJ never had a following anywhere in Brooklyn except in his own well-crafted narrative, which a few people bought into for a very little while.

Anonymous said...

Was Judge with Susan Clearys son the night Fisher was murdered?

Anonymous said...

Oh boy!

Anonymous said...

Liam is a liability for our Party
John Q is a non-entity, a total zero
Jonathan Judge may be our only hope to build our party back from the ashes
