"Cisco and Pancho"* need to play "King of the Hill"**

In 2017,  Liam McCabe did the right thing.....   Well, at least once.....   When John Quaglione tried to sweep in and take the Republican nomination for City Council as his by "Divine Right"  ---  Liam stuck to his guns and took JQ all the way to a primary,  and a very bitter one at that.....  Bottom line, Quags is still wandering in the desert,  and Liam is edging closer and closer to the promised land

If the coalition makes sense for their main supporters, Liam and Marko Kepi need to hookup, petition jointly, and tell the rest of the Brooklyn GOP to get on board or get the hell out of the way

These guys need to climb into the octagon and let everybody else know that they are the Brooklyn GOP tag team to beat.

Certainly, Marko needs something else in the bigger, Staten Island side of his assembly district;  and needless to say, the 64th AD is only a sliver of the 22nd Senate District.  Nonetheless, setting up a bastion in the Brooklyn part of the 64th would be a solid "High Castle" move for both Liam and Marko.

The best part of all of it, is that it neuters Nicole,  making any big pitch for Toonses the Driving Cat by the congressional hopeful very near to a poison pill for her chances in November.

* Since Marko has been so solicitous to the Mexican element of late,  "Cisco & Pancho" might be a more appropriate name for the Liam-Marko tag team than, something more Gringo, like "Butch & Sundance".....

Nobody ever mentioned before that a primary happened in 2017.

Marko has hundreds of thousands of dollars thanks to democRAT sugar daddy Gjonaj and Liam has $0

But what is the Promised Land exactly? The guaranteed chance of loosing to Andrew Gounardes in November? Why would anybody even want to go through that? Expecially when Marty's newest campaign spending report shows he is burning through campaign cash with his Cadillac car payments and "constituent dinners" at Ponta Vecchio, there won't be any money left to give to Liam or Marko or anyone else!

Marko is a legend in his mind

Either Vito Bruno or John Quaglione will be the nominee for the GOP. Liam is probably angling for a deal.

RESPONSE: THE "ONE BRIEF SHINING MOMENT THAT WAS KNOWN AS CAMELOT" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 11:09 AM"

EVERYBODY WHO IS INVOLVED IN POLITICS, TO THE EXTENT THAT WE ARE INVOLVED IN POLITICS, SHOULD BE "A LEGEND IN THERE OWN MIND" --- EVEN IF IT'S FOR ONE BRIEF SHINING MOMENT

One of the great lines in movies is from "The Adventures of Don Juan," a post-war Errol Flynn classic. It goes like this: [Cue Flynn] ".... My dear friend, there's a little bit of Don Juan in every man, and since I am Don Juan, there must be more of it in me!"

So let me paraphrase it so you'll see what I'm getting at: ".... My dear friend, there's a little bit of Michael Grimm in every man, and since I am Michael Grimm, there must be more of it in me!"

OR

".... My dear friend, there's a little bit of Justin Brannan in every man, and since I am Justin Brannan, there must be more of it in me!"

And it even works for somebody like this:

".... My dear friend, there's a little bit of John Quaglione in every man, and since I am John Quaglione, there must be more of it in me!"

Try it, it even works for guys like Jerry Kassar and Gerry O'Brien.

But I have found an exception that does prove the rule --- it don't work at all for Nicole Malliotakis..... I wonder why.....

All of these things will be decided by February 25th.

Can we at least agree to support Nicole if she is the nominee?

Anonymous said...

Now, why should anybody agree to such a thing?

Anonymous said...

Where is Capano?

Anonymous said...

I never voted for her before, so why should I start now?

Nicole Malliotakis was a 'Never Trump' type that kept on bashing him, even after he was elected President and she had become the Republican candidate for mayor of New York City.

What goes around comes around.

When Nicole completes her first term in the House she'll defeat Schumer in 2022. That's the plan.

As for Bob he has no minor league parties left to become relevant.

2:59 never voted for Nicole before. Yeah Diblasio has been really good.

Nick Chamberas is the type a guy who would hangout at O.T.B. all day but never place a bet. He needs to decide whose side he's on. The Huckleberry act is getting old. I hear Marko is trying to hire Chamberas to be his top lieutenant. That would be the best thing that ever happened to Tannousis and Malliotakis. Chamberas has the King Midas Touch in Reverse. Somebody needs to put him in the batroom. He's a moosh.

The Home reporter just came out with the conservative party endorsements and Marko is out. Michael Tonnousis is backed by everyone. Marko keeps promoting himself as the new Marty Golden. But Marty isn't backing Marko. Nobody seems to be backing Marko.

"Toonces the Driving Cat" has more and better conservative support in Victoria Jackson than Michael Tannousis does in Nicole Malliotakis; and "Toonces the Driving Cat" would be a better candidate for the NYS Assembly.

1144, you went to that dark but fruitful place of words ending in "...berry", which only reminds people that folks like Michael Tannousis and Nicole Malliotakis stand dutifully in line to graze on Jerry Kassar's dingleberries.

Anonymous said...

11:44 why are you all so obsessed with Nick? He’s made it clear to Marko and Tanoussis that he wants no part in their feud. Tanoussis and his “genius” brain trust should deal with him not getting involved.

Funny you mentioned the Midas touch in reverse since Marko outraised Tanoussis by around $30,000. John Alexander can write whatever fantaseis Jerry tells him ten times on each page, homies all about to get exposed. Marko wins easy.

Took a look at Marko filings and no Marty money. Marko must feel let down.

Tannousis seems to be a sure thing.

Chambers is a troll.. noons pays attention to him..he is afraid of his own shadow..1144am defined him well..

Anonymous said...

Marko has a ton of Albanian money that's probably got more than its fair share of coke residue on it

Anonymous said...

Can Marko run with just a green card?

Anonymous said...

Liam wins all around in 2020 while others sit on the sidelines and blog anonymously

John Alexander is so transparently a mouthpiece for the Republican-Conservative cabal in Brooklyn. His shameful "moderation" of the Quaglione/Capano/McCabe City Council debate exposed what he is really all about.

Liam will not win in 2020. No one will. Nicole will loose too.

What's up with the lovefest on social media between Coleen Golden and Bob Capano? Seems like there has been a thawing of the relationship. I am told Capano and Marty even had dinner recently together.

Anonymous said...

Marty must have taken Capano out to Areo for one of his $400 "constituent dinners" that I saw reported on his campaign funds filing last week. Capano is smart: he is making Marty spend all his money on dinners so there will be none left to fund Liam's loosing Senate campaign. Capano is a tactician!

Anonymous said...

Earth to 111, Earth to 111! There is no more Areo, it's now called Baci.

Anonymous said...

Quaglione cant be happy about the Golden-Capano night out

Anonymous said...

Well, what of it?

When you're not your own man, who cares if you're happy or not?

Anonymous said...

Capano would have been better off having dinner with Brannan and Gounardes.

Maybe Quags needs to be more catholic, with a small 'c', in his own choice of dinner companions.
