Recently squelched Fox News primetime anchor Tucker Carlson announced late on Tuesday afternoon that he will “soon” be Tweeting-out a video show on Twitter, which media platform Carlson referred to as one of the few “English speaking” outlets in the world that still allows free speech
Here's some of what Tucker Carlson said during a video that he posted on Twitter on Tuesday: “Starting soon, we will be doing a new version of the show we’ve been doing for six-and-a-half years [on] Twitter.... We’ll bring some other things too, which we’ll tell you about. But for now, we’re just grateful to be here [onTwitter]....” Carlson did not explain or elaborate on what “soon” might mean.
He closed his first Twitter video broadcast with this: “Free speech is the main right that you have. Without it, you have no others.”
Another thing that Tucker Carlson promised in his Twitterfeed video mentioned above is that his new probram on Twitter will “tell you stories” about what it’s like to work in a dishonest corporate media outlet that constantly lies to the public, especially through omission. He adds that the media only allow its staffers to tell so much of the truth, the approved amount, and if you “bump up against those limits often enough, you will be fired for it. That’s not a guess,” Carlson adds, “that’s guaranteed.” [We here at this independent GOP blog for Brooklyn and Staten Island wonder if Tucker might be referring to Fox News as a media entity, the Murdochs as media puppet masters, and their sycophants and toadies at Fox, as media mutts doing the Murdochs' dirty work.....]

Rep. George Santos has pleaded not guilty to 13 federal charges. The Long Island New York Republican appeared in a federal court at Islip, Long Island earlier today. He had been charged on seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds and two counts of making materially false statements to the House of Representatives after only a four month pre-indictment investigation by the very politicisized Garland-Biden.
In what some in the MSM described as a combative, impromptu press conference after his arraignment, Santos appeared to say in a quite calm and controlled manner that he has been “compliant throughout this entire process.” He also added his belief that the indictment by the Biden-Garland DOJ was a “witch hunt” --- and Santos fiemly asserted that would fight his battle to defend himself against the charges.
At the media podium near the front of the courthouse, the congressman repeated that he would not resign from his seat in congrss, and that he still plans to seek reelection next year.
Brooklyn-Staten Island R.I.N.O. Member of Congress Nicole Malliotakis told the MSM that she was not surprisedm and she understood that an indictment of Santos was where things had been headed. Yesterday Mallliotakis dodged any blanket condemnation of Santos --- saying that she needed to see the charges. Howevr, when asked whether Santos should be removed from his seat in the congress she said: “I would love to see someone new run because I can tell you that.... We will hold that seat and so the sooner Santos leaves, the sooner we can get someone in there that is not a liar.” So for the most part, Malliotakis is in lockstep with the Garland-Biden DOJ.
Other Republicans said it should be up to those in Santos’ district to decide his prospects for any option that he might choose to return to the next Congress.

And now that there is a House Bill on the National Debt Increase, add another demand >>> Biden must resign immediately, the Senate must pass the House Bill clean with no variations, and President Harris has to sign the clean Republican House Bill passed by the Senate with all the reductions in place. THe alternative is simply to commence impeachment hearings against Mayorkas, Garland and Biden for their manifest high crimes and misdemeanors. Once that is the next order of business in the House, all other business would need to be put aside until the full impeachment proceedings are completed, regardless of result.
