IT STARTS OUT BY TALKING ABOUT THE SHOOTINGS AT THE SUPERMARKET IN BUFFALO BY PAYTON GENDRON, BUT THEN IT SHIFTS QUICKLY TO THE BROOKLYN SUBWAY SHOOTINGS... AND BEFORE LONG KASSAR HAS MADE IT ALL INTO A ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL MUSHY STEW, BECAUSE THE WAY KASSAR SEES IT, "... HATERS ARE NOT MONOLITHIC... AND FRANKLY, THEY DO NOT SEEM TO DISCRIMINATE...."

Kassar quickly segued into a rant against lenient prosecutors, untying the hands of the police, and placing the blame where it really belongs >>> on an uncaring public..... In passing, he took swipes at "... all the social or mental health programs that have existed, or ever could exist...." But he saved his best for last >>> "Capital punishment can make our streets safer, send a strong message and act as true justice for the most evil of people."
Of course, Kassar cited no evidence for his final solution. That's because no such evidence exists; and it never has existed for all of the years that Kassar has pitched the killing of some people as the best way to stop some of the killing of people by other people.
Jerry Kassar's idea of a "good meal" is the frozen salmon and capers served up by Patrick Golden at the Manor. Speaking of food, Brian Fox has not stopped chewing like a grazing cow since he lost to Boss Brannan and has anyone seen John Quaglione? Last I heard he was washing Monsignor Cassato's feet to imitate the humility and selfless love of Jesus Marty Golden. Only in New York, kids... only in New York.
