We here on this independent GOP blog for Brooklyn and Staten Island have made many revelations about the kid that Ted Ghorra, and Jerry Kassar and Fran Vella-Marrone never properly vetted before making him the GOP and Conservative Party "endorsed" candidate against the incumbent Democrat, Andrew Gounardes
Now we have the kid --- aka "Karim4NY" --- outing himself ( but only on matters of crime and punishment)
A few days ago, it seems that Karim Elsammak posted the following:
Now, that doesn't sound very Law and Order-ish to us --- and others seem to agree.....
Thanks to the following comment posted in reply to the Elsammak statement above, all of this was brought to our attention:

Elsammak's interview on the 'Sunday Sauce" podcast makes it clear that when he talks about "refunding the police" he believes that they need to be reformed and retrained in light of being "in a city that has changed so precipitously over the last several years...." And "... what we must do is introduce new... tactics with an emphasize [sic] on mental health awareness and deescalation...."
Don't let anybody get away with blather like this >>> "As someone that is well travelled, I have seen how other states and countries do this and it’s important to learn from other[s] to improve ourselves...." There can be little doubt that Elsammak is talking about the states with cities like San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Madison, and Chicago in them; or those pillars of law and order in Caribbean and Central American countries where he has told us he has routinely flown.....

I appreciate Karim the Kid is now venturing into the politics in other states. The other day he tweeted about a murder in California. Now that he has conquered New York Politics, it's time to head West !!

It's all to be expected regardless who "Gavin" might turn out to be. Given some of what Karim has said about crime and punishment himself, it wouldn't surprise us if he were to be taking some advice from Gavin Newsome.....
Karim told us weeks ago that when he wants answers to the really hard questions, he likes to rely on others --- that's just the way the kid seems to roll.
