Some Republicans in attendance at the Brooklyn Conservative’s Annual Brunch were being pigeonholed to set up future discussions to get rid of GOP Chairman Craig Eaton — Oddly, some of it was being done by the Conservative Party Chairman
Ross Brady’s coverage of the Conservative Party Annual Brunch was simple enough:
“A large crowd enjoyed honoring civic leader Arlene Keating, listening to John McLaughlin discuss politics in America, as well as hearing from a number of elected officials who stopped by including State Senator Marty Golden, Assemblywoman Malliotakis, Congressman Michael Grimm, City Councilmember David Geenfield. In addition three candidates for Mayor- in alphabetical order – John Catsimitidas, Joe Lhota, and Rev. Eric Salgado were in attendance, as well as Council candidates John Quaglione, David Storobin and Elias Weir, and representative on behalf of State Senator Simcha Felder. Thank you for all who joined us or supported our effort. We look forward to seeing you at our next event.” ( See “Brooklyn Conservatives’ Annual Brunch Draws Crowd of Members, Civic Leaders, Elected Officials and Candidates” by Ross Brady, 4/15/13, Brooklyn Conservative Party Blog [http://brooklynconservativeparty.com/?p=822]). That doesn't nearly tell the story of the practice of realpolitik that went on at the event held on April 14th at The Bay Ridge Manor.
It isn’t surprising that many of the Brooklyn Republicans present on Sunday at the Conservative Party Brunch would be talking about the political news of the day, including the outbreak of the “Dump Eaton” movement, especially given the venue – The Bay Ridge Manor – as well as the make up of the atypical sample of GOP worker-bees in attendance, the most notable being some of those not reported in Brady’s post above.
The buzz-buzz-buzz from Kassar was about some future planning session on the topic, “what to do about Eaton” at a not-yet-decided time and place.

UPDATE: A detailed pictorial of the BCP’s Annual Brunch, along with linked videos of John Catsimatidis and Joseph Lhota, was put up by NYC Elects – 2013 ( See “Republican Mayoral Candidates Address The Brooklyn Conservative Party Annual Brunch in Bay Ridge,” Posted by NYC2013, 4/14/13 [http://nymayor.blogspot.com/2013/04/republican-mayoral-candidates-address.html]).
That is really funny....wasnt it Kasser who dumped Storobin and backed a democrat against Storobin in the Senate Race. I hear that Kasser is even running Storobin's campaign for City Council?
Storobin what a fool..........I guess he doesnt know who his enemies are...well he did serve for what, two weeks......poor fool.....
Brady didn't name these Republicans seen at the Conservative Party brunch: Clorinda Annarumo, Simon Shimoun, Peter Cipriano, Karen Fischer, Stephen Maresca, Glen Nocero and Gene Russo.
Men and women have a very short time on earth and it is their choice to be good or bad and the Lord gives this to every men and women when the Lord created men and women.
What we had at this meeting was the good, the bad and the ugly.
In the end all of us will be judged by a much higher authority and that judgement will be weighted by all the good you have done compared to all of the evil you have done.
It is their choice and as a wise man said as a child why can't we all be friends my answer today is still the same. That would be a nice thing.

Each and every one: I don't know exactly who you are -- but I can guess....
One or two of you obviously couldn't wait for me to put "your" information or opinion into an "UPDATE" or "BACKFILL" comment by me to the post above -- It's all good; I actually prefer the comments from "outsiders" (NB -- why not identify yourself or use a pseudonym instead of the very boring "Anonymous" option ?)
Another that I think I recognize is a Democrat, who I believe is accurate in his/her comment, but is only doing his/her thing here just to pour gasoline on the fire and cause problems for State Senator Golden and the rest of us in the GOP....
PS, we really don't need the help --- the fire is being fueled quite well enough by Republicans [and a couple of Conservatives] already.
Mr. Mystic, your almost daily reflections are OK in a "Stuart Smalley...." kind of way, [ but try to be sure that you keep coloring inside the lines ] ...
As for the two "loser" comments -- better if your comment(s) would have said the "who" -- "what" -- "where" -- "why" and "how" you think the above-listed "Republicans" are "losers" --- and let everybody decide for themselves --- first, you'd be flushing out the "losers" for what they are; second, a lot of people would probably agree about some of them...
From my observation I can only say I speak from my heart wise lass of words and not knowing who the others are. A clue for the colors are being drawn, but either way all the rooms lead to the same place and within these rooms all the answers wait those with patience!
A house divided can not stand, unless its a split level
