As far as those of us connected to this independent GOP blog for Brooklyn and Staten Island know, the short- and long-term plans of Eaton's that are going forward successfully, are to keep in the public eye the Brooklyn GOP's real and active opposition to Ted Ghorra's and Jerry Kassar's attempts to weaken the Brooklyn GOP by immoral, and possibly unlawful, deals with other parties, and office holders of other parties, that only benefit the other parties and office holders, but do not benefit the Brooklyn Republican Party or the interests of its voters and supporters.

We on this blog don't need to know what others want to do about Democrats Ari Kagan and Justin Brannan running against each other --- except to denounce those that have given former Soviet spy and admitted committed Communist Kagan the Republican and Conservative Party lines. On to substantive politics... You know nothing about John Catsimatidis' so-called inner circle if you think that Brian Fox is part of it.
And if you really knew about the Marty Golden-Craig Eaton flap you would know that Catsimatidis continued to suppot both of them after Golden turned on Eaton and wrongfully accused Eaton of felonies, which accussations by Golden were 100% debunked. And --- in the following elections --- Marty Golden was re-elected and Eaton remained the Kings County GOP Chairman in spite of Golden's heavy=handed attampts to unseat Eaton. It was only after Eaton stepped down as Brooklyn GOP Leader in 2015, and the Democrats first attemped an organized and serious effort to unseat Goldn in 2018 that Golden lost to Gounardes by somewhat over a thousand votes, when Golden had previously beaten Gounardes handily by over 6,000 votes in 2012, and James Kemmerer by almost 13,000 votes in 2014, both times when Golden had Eaton's formal organizational support. In 2016, as the result of a deal engineered by Governor Cuomo, the Brooklyn Democrat County Leader, and Golden; Golden ran unaoposed on four lines against no opponent; and still just under one-third of the voters, 24,626 in total would not vote for Golden, and there were over a thousand write-ins, several of those for "Craig Eaton" or just plain "Eaton".
Catsimatidis lost no sleep and shed no tears when Marty Golden lost to Gounardes in 2018; in fact, he would have done even less for Golden if Eaton had told him not to support Golden in 2018. Instead, when many prominent members of the NYC Greek Community were pressuring John Catsimatidis to stay neutral if he could not endorse Gounardes, Eaton advised John Catsimatidis to formally endorse Golden so other GOP activists could't use any non-support for Golden to blame Cats for the GOP losing its faux-majority status.
