At the time when the FBI raid was staged, Meek was assisting and/or co-authoring a book detailing Joe Biden's direct involvement in the disastrous withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan --- shortly afterwood, Meek withdrew from his participation in that project about Biden and Afghanistan --- he had been working on a that project with Lt. Col. Scott Mann, and in due course, a book about that material was published under Mann's sole authorship
Why isn't the disappearance of James Gordon Meek a bigger deal in the mainstream national news media ??? --- It's a mystery story about national security and about the national MSM --- it would seem like a natural fit for them.....
SO --- WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE IT IS MOSTLY BEING SPIKED BY THE BIG PLAYERS IN THE NEWS BUSINESS ?????
James Gordon Meek is a 52-year-old investigative reporter and producer and was employed by ABC up to the time this happened. However, he has not been seen in public since heavily armed federal agents raided his penthouse apartment in Arlington in April.
A spokesperson for Meek's "former" employer, ABC News said, “He resigned very abruptly and hasn’t worked for us for months.” And ABC News staffers who worked with Meek told the Rolling Stone's reporters working on the story that Meek just “... fell off the face of the Earth....”
It should also be noted that Meek had worked for ABC News, and various subsidiaries like HULU, since 2013; and that he previously was a senior investigator for the House Homeland Security Committee.
Eugene Gorokhov, reported to be a lawyer for Meek, said he knew nothing about classified material at Meek's home or on his computer, but he did say that >>> if Meek had something, it would have been connected to his investigative reporting; and that Meek didn't have any information from "anonymous sources" about any claims made against the U.S. government.

I've hear this story. The FBI raid is something that needs to be answered. But Meeks may have just decided I'm out of this business and cut off contact with colleagues. No news about family or friends. But I guess thats the issue. No news on this.
I heard the FBI raided John Quaglione's brain but found nothing
His daughterz have been using his apartment on and off; and the family isn't clamoring for any investigation. The FBI was only at the Meeks apartment for a few minutes, he wasn't arrested, but they did leave with his computer. But after that, he left ABC, and disappeared.
Why is Meeks hiding, and why did he pull out of the Biden-Afghanistan book deal? Something isn't being talked about in this case; and who knows what that might be.
Before this I never heard of Mekk or his book. Now I want to read his book. Don't you? Maybe thats the point.

It's very unlikely that's the point of all that has happened to James Gordon Meek. That is because it isn't James Gordon Meek's book anymore. The book is called "Operation Pineapple Express: The Incredible Story of a Group of Americans Who Undertook One Last Mission and Honored a Promise in Afghanistan"; and it is by Scott Mann (and not by James Gordon Meek).

Outside James Gordon Meek's Arlington Virginia, apartment, a surreal scene had unfolded. And Meek's illustrious career was about to come crashing down. A minute before 5:00 AM on April 27, Meek's one word Tweet "Facts" marked the last time Meek would post anything on Twitter on that account or under his own name.
Outside Meek's apartment, the first thing Meek's neighbor, John Antonelli, noticed that morning was a black utility vehicle with blacked out windows blocking traffic in both directions on Columbus Pike. It was just before dawn on that brisk April day; and self described police vehicle historian Antonelli was out and about to grab a coffee at Starbucks before embarking on his daily three mile walk. He inched closer to Meek's apartment in order to get a better vantage on what was going on, and then he saw an olive green Lenco BearCat G2; an armored tactical vehicle often used by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies. Also, there were a few Arlington County police cruisers that surrounded the area. Other than the police cruisers, all of the other vehicles were unmarked, including the armored BearCat. Most people seeing that green vehicle might think that it was some sort of a tank, but Antonelli knew it was a Lenco BearCat. It's a vehicle designed for its passengers to jump out of, allowing them to do a raid in a quick amount of time and also to return fire if they were to be fired upon during an operation.
Antonelli also counted at least ten heavily armed personnel on the ground near the apartment; and none of them wore anything identifying what law enforcemnt agency was conducting the raid.
After only about ten minutes, the military style police operation at the Arlington Virginia apartment complex was over. The law enforcement agents didn't mill around. They took off quite quickly and headed west toward Fairfax County.
Multiple sources familiar with the matter say Meek was the target of an FBI raid at the sienna Park apartments where he had been living on the top floor for more than a decade. An FBI representative told Rolling Stone its agents were present at the morning of April 27 at that block, but they could not comment further due to an ongoing investigation. Meek has not been charged with a crime, but independent observers believe the raid was among the first and quite possibly the first to be carried out on a journalist by the Biden administration.
The FBI is independent of Biden.

According to Roger Severino, who served at the DOJ's Civil Rights Division, both in the Bush and Obama Administrations, “The left is out for blood, and Biden’s base is demanding prosecutions... and the DOJ is providing them....”
Among other things going on at at the DOJ-FBI, the Biden administration is “weaponizing” the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act to go after pro-life activists.
Under the Biden Administration, the DOJ has charged at least 16 pro-life activists with a maximum of 11 years in prison for alleged violations of the FACE Act, which prohibits obstructing people seeking reproduction services.
The FBI is in this up to its neck. For example, pro-life activist Mark Houck, who allegedly pushed an abortion escort to the ground after a verbal confrontation was swarmed by FBI agents at his home and he was taken away at gunpoint in front of his wife and children. All of that was months after local authorites invstigated the incidentand did not bring charges, and a cicil lawsuit by the abortion escort was dismissed in court.
