Yesterday Brian Fox posted this on his campaign FB page:
"Brian Fox for City Council... Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 9:01 AM... Hey #parkslope, please note that my opponent shares the same agenda and ideology as Frm. Mayor Deblasio making State Senator Andrew Gounardes an extension of DeBlasio. Considering that you've rejected Deblasio as a candidate for Congress, it's clear that you need to make the same decision this November, to reject Andrew Gounardes for New York State Senate.... OUR SAFETY DEPENDS ON IT! "

There are several problems with this FB posting by Fox:
1. Park Slope is not the only neighborhood in the northern part of the State Senate District where Brian Fox is running against Andrew Gounardes that shares EDs with the Congressional District where Bill de Blasio lost a primary
2. Fox said, "... my opponent shares the same agenda and ideology as Frm. Mayor Deblasio [sic] making State Senator Andrew Gounardes an extension of DeBlasio [sic]...." --- apart from misspelling the former mayor's name two different ways, Fox does not identify or explain a single item or idea shared by Gounardes and de Blasio --- much less the whole of their shared agenda and ideology....

3. By continuing to use his "Brian Fox for City Council..." account on FaceBook, Fox is only confusing potential voters that might bizarrely be intersted in voting for him
This kind of posting on FaceBook should have been a slam dunk for Fox and his team to execute effectively --- all the negative material was/ is there for them to use against Gounardes.
But instead, this is just another of the slap-dash, going-through-the-motions campaign products that we have come to expect from Brian Fox and those working with him.
Let's face it, Fox is just a very, very bad candidate, who has put together a very bad supporting cast of activists, consultants, and campaign workers; and he will be losing this election to Gounardes by a much wider margin than he did last time to Brannan.

It seems like Brian will be just running every year for some office. Next year City Council, then back to Senate or Assembly. He seems to be a nice guy, but will never be an elected official. Surrounding himself with people like Ghorra, Kassar, Vella-Marrone, Liam, just to name a few, how could he ever win anything?
The former mayors name is Wilhelm. The spelling of the made up name is irrelevant.
Fox doesn't even know the boundaries of the new Gounardes district or what neighborhoods it is in. Since Fox is not from Brooklyn, he thinks the top of the district is just Sunset Park and Park Slope. Does Fox even know a Brownstone Republican? Has Fox ever met Joe Nardiello?
In spite of rumors that Brian Fox's dad was the retired high NYPD official that endorsed him for state senate, it can now be disclosed that Brian Fox is the love child of Joe Isuzu's sister, Joanne, and Joe Biden.
When running in Park Slope, Fox plans to adopt the phrase: "You can trust me, I am from Park Slope, and the blood of Joe Isuzu and Joe Biden runs in my veins; and I can pack everything I have in the back seat of an Isuzu."
One thing is for certain, De Blasio will soon be receiving a strongly worded letter from the Chung Dick Democrats
When buses arrive from Texas Andy will have some explaining to do.
I think Liam just told Brian he can keep running and people will give him free food and donations. Since the Philip Martin Talent firm seems to be closed, running for offices he will not get is Brian’s full time job.
Is Eaton permitted at any Bklyn GOP candidates events? I see Liam there.

Why hasn't more attention been paid to the fact that Curtis Sliwa didn't even show up to his event with Brian Fox?

Liam has left politics. He is now a fireman. I saw him the other day at the supermarket and he had a mustache. I think politics is better off without him. Unfortunately we still have to deal with his minions and morons
A Brian Fox without a Liam McCabe is like a bullfrog without a Tesla or a Learjet.
I think Liam got tired of beating the likes of Eaton and Capano if he really has "left" politics.
