If you missed the up to the minute reports about this last week on this blog and elsewhere, it was all caused by the mailer sent out by the Gounardes Campaign last week detailing GOP State Senate Candidate Ratso Vito Bruno's exploits as an unscrupulous manager and promoter of a variety of outlaw sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll clubs and events that regularly ran afoul of various levels of law enforcement and other city, state and federal governmental agencies >>> one of Bruno's own sites even suggests that an association with the 1980s conspirators made famous in the movie "Goodfellas" would not be out of the question*
A quick skim of Vito Bruno's social media like Facebook and Twitter will show sites whose main color is blood red..... And it's all couched in unfocused blunderbuss and un-targeted attacks on Mayor deBlasio as much as Andrew Gounardes --- the obvious question is: "WHY ???" --- and the obvious answer is that the Gounardes team made Bruno and company bleed prodigiously with last week's killer mailer to voters.
So what is the Vito team doing to stop the bleeding ??? Intense but unfocused radiological therapy, because what has hit the Bruno campaign is worse than a bad cancer that metastasized all over the place.....
