Don't look now, but the NYS Republican Party is flat broke

The Cox departure as the NYS GOP Chairman was accompanied by a strong whiff of scorched earth

Based on the most recent BOE filings, the NYS GOP Campaign Committee has way less than $20,000 on hand  ---  after former chairman Edward Cox handed over almost four times that amount to his most loyal friends and supporters in the GOP since the last reporting period

Let's see what the incoming Langworthy regime does to dig its way out of this deep hole.....

I'm not excusing Tricky Dick's boy and his last minute redistribution of wealth, but ...

It's an open secret that Cox has been subsidizing the state GOP for years, using his family money, and drawing on a circle of family and friends for other donations.

Silver lining: Langworthy is skilled. He may not win any statewide races soon (or ever), but he'll raise money.

According to the BOE reports none of that 'last minute redistribution of wealth' came towards the Brooklyn GOP.

What kind of shape are the local Republicans in financially? I'm sure that's another big failure on Ted Ghorra's watch.

Maybe Ted didn't hold a meeting 'cause he can't afford to rent a hall, or print and mail the meeting notice.

Eaton is on the outs with the new GOP state chair...

Even if so, why do YOU care?

Does Eaton have any allies left? The leadership of the Brooklyn GOP and now the state GOP without Cox cant stand him...sad fall..

Let me reiterate my earlier interrogatory: "Even if so, why do YOU care?"

With every bit of bad news for the Golden & Ghorra crowd, somebody seems to want to keep trying to wish Eaton away.

If Golden & Ghorra were able to cobble together anything successful or worthwhile in the real world, nobody would say either "BOO!" or "BOO-HOO" about Craig Eaton.
