OLD AND NEW BACKFILL --- John Giuca, the Brooklyn DA, and Angel and James DiPietro

A series of connections that taint the prosecution  and provide an explanation of what has driven the Brooklyn DA’s case against John Giuca

Not only has Angel diPietro been a top-suspect-turned-top-witness in the Mark Fisher murder case-turned-assistant-district attorney,  she has been the daughter of a lawyer,  who has been strangely  intertwined with former Kings County (Brooklyn) DA Charles Hynes

WHAT EVERYBODY SHOULD KNOW BY NOW

According to a NY Daily News article from a few of years ago in 2015,   “….   During the [2013] campaign,  [deceased Brooklyn DA Kenneth] Thompson slammed Hynes for employing Angel Di[P]ietro, an assistant district attorney who also served as a witness in a high-profile Brooklyn murder case after she brought a friend, Mark Fisher, to a Brooklyn house party where he was killed hours later….”

But that’s not all that the News said  ---  “….   DiPietro’s father, James, is a prominent criminal defense attorney and a staunch Hynes supporter who made several campaign donations….”   And then taking a quote from the man that took away the DA job from Charles Hynes in 2013,  the Daily News wrote this:   “….   ‘Another day, another Hynes scandal,’ said Thompson in 2013. ‘The large campaign donation by [Angel]  DiPietro’s father [James]  after DA Hynes hired Ms. DiPietro raises serious questions.’…   But DiPietro still works in the office….”  (See  “Brooklyn DA Ken Thompson gains national acclaim his first year”  by  Reuven Blau,  1/6/15,  NY Daily News   [http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn-da-gains-national-acclaim-year-article-1.2068140]).

In  2014,  a specialty blog dedicated to “…   those who have been railroaded by the Brooklyn Justice System from an investigator whose seen it all….”  also had a good take on some of this DiPietro stuff  (See  “You can't discuss the Charles Hynes railroad without mentioning John Giuca...”   by Bixco [???],  2/15/14, Blog,  “The Charles Hynes Rail Road”   [http://charleshynesrailroad.blogspot.com/2014/02/you-cant-discuss-charles-hynes-railroad.html]).

Now, more than four years have passed, since Thompson’s win over Hynes,  and Angel DiPietro still works as an ADA in the Office of the Kings County prosecutor,   the current DA Gonzalez.  ---  AND  ---  According to ADA Joseph Alexis  last week,  the Brooklyn DA’s office is looking into again using Angel Di Pietro,  since Mr. Giuca’s  prior conviction had been overturned.   It However,  Mr. Alexis made clear that the DA’s Office needed to re-evaluate Angel DiPietro,  as one of its key witnesses for any new trial that might be had against John Giuca.

BUT THE DI PIETRO-HYNES CONNECTION(S) IS (ARE) SO MUCH MORE THAN WHAT HAS BEEN REPORTED TO DATE  >>> IN CONNECTION WITH THE GIUCA PROSECUTION <<<

During a time, including when the Giuca case was being hashed-out in court,   James DiPietro represented a top DA Charles Hynes’ office lieutenant when criminal charges, possibly including murder,  were hanging over that operative’s head   (See  “Intervention in S.I. Dispute Turns Deadly’  by  Kareem  Fahimdec,  12/24/2006  “Grand jury fails to indict Tottenville resident for role in brawl that killed longtime friend”  by Peter  N. Spencer,  3/17/2007,  Staten Island Advance/  silive.com   [http://www.silive.com/southshore/index.ssf/2007/03/grand_jury_fails_to_indict_tot.html]).

Then there was the “normal” stuff between Hynes and Mr. DiPietro,  which it turns out,  sometimes ain’t so normal.   You see,   James DiPietro has a lot of clients that are tough guys of the gingerella sort,  and needless to say,  those cases always got some kind of special treatment in the Brooklyn DAs office.

>>>   [One paragraph from the original post of this material was removed by the blog administrator at about 7:00 AM EST on 2/26/18…..   Although the information contained in that paragraph is believed to be accurate,  the events described in it might lead (have led) to a false conclusion about a case,  which did not likely involve any special relationship between Messrs.  Hynes and DiPietro…..  Furthermore,  the events described in that paragraph did not occur during Hynes' tenure as DA]   <<<

Well,  that’s enough for now.

Every week we read about a new scandal under Hynes and he was booted out of office 5 years ago. Only the Governor can appoint a special prosecutor to investigate corruption.

Get real 12:27

Andrew Cuomo = corruption

Marty thought Hynes was great !!

Did Marty get any of those asset forfeiture checks?

Gail, police investigators said that DeLouise was a "probable suicide"; so why are you implying it's something else?

WELL, WELL, WELL... SO YOU THINK THAT'S BAD... THE INCLUSION OF THAT CASE INFORMATION IN THE POST ABOVE ABOUT DI PIETRO AND HYNES IS FAR MORE PROBLEMATIC THAN THAT.....

For reasons that should have been obvious at the time I was composing the post above, I included material about a case that was "incompetent, immaterial and irrelevant" to the issues being advanced in that post. --- In addition, that material, as presented, could easily have led to many a non-critical reader, who was not carefully noting the information contained in the contents of a now-deleted paragraph to conclude that the material supported my main points in the post. --- I now believe that it does not have anything to do with any of that Hynes-DiPietro-Giuca stuff.

Mob guys "probable suicide" is probably not true.

I recall reading a Daily News article with DiPietros clients were employees of DA HYnes named Tommy Dades and Mike Vecchione. They were visiting a mob guy in staten island who tripped on his sidewalk and died. Next day another daily news article said the mob guy was beaten to death by Hynes guys. When Dades and Vecchione needed a lawyer they called DiPietro. This all happened one year after Giuca was framed at trial by DA Hynes.

Gangsters dont kill themselves.

Crooked prosecutors cover up for Mob hits. It's brooklyn history. Google Abe Reles. That hit got the brooklyn DA elected Mayor.

YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE "NON-CRITICAL READERS" WHO IS "NOT CAREFULLY NOTING THE INFORMATION"

The alleged "suicide" stuff was in material that I deleted because it didn't relate to the Hynes-DiPietro connection.....

If you looked at the dates in question when the material was still posted, you should have noticed that Hynes was no longer the DA when it all went down.

My bad --- but, your bad too.....

Meanwhile after 13 years Giuca is still in jail.

The Vecchione, Dades and DiPietro connection is interesting.
DiPietro's daughter Angel is in the Fisher case from the beginning, even before the beginning, because everything starts with her and her friend getting Mark Fisher to come to Brooklyn.
After Fisher is killed, under circumstances indicating a woman was present at the shooting, Angel DiPietro tells a bunch of lies to police investigators, and her dad James DiPietro hires his "friend" Ben Brafman, one of the top criminal defense lawyers in the country, to defend his daughter, and she clams up completely.
Michael Vecchione then gets put on the Fisher case to get things moving, and the theory against Guica and another alleged shooter is put forward, with Angel diPietro of the prior false information to police and long non-cooperative silence suddenly emerging as a key witness.
A short time after John Guica's trial, and early in Giuca's ultimately successful appeals process, Dades, a Brooklyn DA's investigator, and Vecchione, one of Hynes' top ADAs, are involved in the "accidental" killing of a retired PO in Staten Island after a beeating witnessed by many; and Dades gets represented by James DiPietro, no charges go forward against Dades; and no charges are made against Vecchione.
Sometime later, Angel DiPietro is hired as an ADA by DA Hynes.
For over thirteen years, the people in the Brooklyn DA's Office have dug their heels in against all of the Giuca appeals; and it has also stonewalled against releasing key information to the defendants, especially about all the interviews and differing statements Angel DiPietro has made to investigators and prosecutors about the Fisher murder over the years.

Maybe James should have chosen a different name besides Angel.

The keys to this case is are the car and the woman who's voice is heard at the time of the shooting, which is almost on the property line of the place where Angel DiPietro and Albert Cleary admit to being at the time of the shooting.
The facts establish that Angel DiPietro is a woman who knows Mark Fisher, brought him to Brooklyn on the night he was killed there, and admittedly is the closest woman acknowledged to be near Mark Fisher at the moment he was shot.
Her story that she saw heard nothing, supposedly because she was sleeping directly across the street from the spot and at the time of the murder just doesn't hold up.
Along the line, the Brooklyn DA's Office has said that this isn't a forensic evidence case, it is a case proved by testimony; and WHY IS THAT?

The "keys" to this case are in the hand of assistant district attorney angel dipietro who is investigating herself.

EXPLANATION: THE "YES, IT'S NEWSWORTHY" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 8:26 AM" & "... AT 8:36 AM"

TOO MUCH MENTION OF YKW --- BUT THIS IS A TRUE NEWSY THING --- SO I'M PUTTING IT IN AS >>> MY <<< COMMENT

A little bird (maybe, not so little) gave me the following chirp (not a twitter or a tweet from a twit):

"Gale And also regarding your comment Grimm nor Donovan felt it worthy to Publicize Quaglione or McCabe endorsement but Capano's is in a Donovan release.. Enough said about the status of the former 2017 GOP contenders...."

And this:

"It has to be killing Liam that Donovan touts Capano's endorsement in a official campaign release and on the campaign wwbaire, while McCabe must stay off the grid with his support of Grimm...I hear Donovan and Capano laughed over that when they had lunch last week at Bridgeview...."

Go ahead, guys --- MAKE MY DAY !!!!!

RESPONSE: THE "WHAT A BUNCH OF BANANAS" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 11:27 AM"

TRY BEING A LITTLE CIRCUMSPECT, AND, DARE I ASK, INTELLIGENT AND CREATIVE.....

You don't have to behave like a little 5th-grader boy-bitch that's just gotten his ass kicked in the school yard.

Think around the problem --- go outside the box --- don't just use an eight-color box of crayons, spring for the "64"- or the "128"-size boxes. Wait a minute, judging from what you've shown us in the past, you are probably more likely to eat the extra crayons than use them properly.

GM is a hack and a Capano shill. GM will have fun deleting almost every post on this blog about Capano that wasn’t written by him.

RESPONSE: THE "SINCE YOU SAID..." EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 3:35 PM"

IF "GM IS A HACK AND A CAPANO SHILL..." THEN WHY DOES "... GM [ ] HAVE FUN DELETING ALMOST EVERYPOST ON THIS BLOG ABOUT CAPANO THAT WASN'T WRITTEN BY HIM"

Now, of course, you must see that your use of the final "him" is both vague, and patently false in all its possibilities..... NOW, THAT IS HARD TO ACCOMPLISH !!!!! I am amazed and impressed that you can abuse the language so much, while using so few words.

If that last "him" refers to "Capano --- it is certainly and patently false, because I have taken down almost all of HIS stuff lately..... And if that same word, "him" refers to me, how can I be a "Capano shill" for the same exact reason, because I have taken down almost all of HIS stuff lately ?????

Of course you might have intended the divine HIM --- but then you should have capitalized the "h" of your ultimate "him" --- making it "Him"..... However, I can say this with near certainty: A lot of things appear and have appeared on this blog; I'm pretty sure that none of it has been written literally and specifically by the hand of God.

Quaglione is on social media saying that Bishop DiMarzio is "praying" that the Vatican makes the Sisters of Mercy sell their property to him at $10,000,000 less than they can get from their "secret" private investor.

Do all mob guys "pray" for the success if their extortion schemes?

I'll bet Quags-baby is one of them Cathedral Club scum-bags Jonathan Judge used to go after in the day.
